Plus, his father raised him to be a fighter who protects his loved ones, then refused to give him context when he got aggressive with his mother and told him to leave. Yes the son needs consequences, yes he needs professional help, but I guarantee if the dad was the one who cheated, the situation could play out exactly the same way and nobody would have any issue with what the son did as at that point everyone would agree he was just defending his mother.
