You're one of the few people I don't have to speed the video up to watch. :-) Everyone else puts me to sleep.

You overlooked few considerations, like how far these devices can be located, number of hops and delays it causes, reliability of mesh network when one node dies. You just talked about work done by libarary developers without even acknowledging. Even you didn't write your own code just showed existing examples.

perfect tutorial!! Show us how to make mesh network with ONE Master esp connected to the router and sending data to mqtt witch was collected from other esp modules!

Hi, is it possible to setup a mesh network of esp32 (which is also connected to my router) which takes input from home assistant and transfer it to device not in range of my router but connected to mesh network. If it is possible, how to do it

  • @satishbhandare1340

hi, I have connected 2 esp32 boards on painless mesh network. Both the devices are broadcasting the message, but the message is not being received by the other board. Distance is hardly 0.5 mts between the boards. Any Idea what the problem is?

Incredibly clear. Have moved all my Arduino dev to ESP8266 boards and can’t wait to try this out. Thanks.

Thanks. I liked your examples of how the different types would be used with different devices, added some good context as to when this is appropriate

Perfect and easy understandable tutorials!! Make a project on different nodemcu's on different sections (bed room, kitchen, living room) in home automation and communicating with each other to know status about each device..

Hey great video. Quick question, when using mesh networking with node mcu's are there any latency issues? especially if they being used in mulitple wearable applications?

If the nodes are in the following configuration: node1<->node2<->node3<->node4, and node1 wants to send a message to node4, will the message be relayed from node1 to node4, if the coverage area of node1 does not reach the coverage area of node4? Thanks in advance!
