    Subscribed on the A pillar I need to tap a line to install automatic led footwell lights and led door sill lights. Those power lines turn on my light near the moonroof as I approach the car or open the door. I want to splice into those. My car doesn't have the foot well light wires in driver or passenger sides below.

    @zhengatozzy9904 Před 3 lety

    For that air bag trim panel , my way is turning those two clips 90 degrees by using finger, and that cover will come off easily, and push on those two pins and gently wiggle it and that should be off.

    Hi I just installed the Prinsu rack on my Rav4 but i’m having trouble with the clip that’s taken off at 2:36. It sure was easy to remove but I cannot figure out a way to put it back in. Is there a video you have that you can link or something so i can see how to install it?

      If you mean the rain sensor, it simply pops off from pulling I believe. Either it slides downwards or pops off. I don’t remember it being scary. =)

    Love your videos bro . Quick question , the dealer recently took of my 2019 rav4 right and left pillar and they look bloated ( not nice and tight as when I first purchased the car) do you happen to know why ? It really bothers me and I would love to fix it. Maybe the mechanic messed up putting it on ?

    • @zaklance9414
      @zaklance9414 Před 3 lety

      I have this too - my roof leaks real bad. The A pillar material absorbed water and flexed way out, expsosing the airbag and wiring behind. Shitty.

    hi. is there a space behind the airbag on the very top close to the headliner where the first plastic clips is? is it possible to run the dashcam cable from the fuse through the weather strip all the way to the lines that separate the A pillar and headliner? thanks

    • @Rav4Gen5
      @Rav4Gen5  Před 3 lety

      You can run wires the way you are describing it. You can check out my other videos where I install a front and rear dash cam. You might be crossing the airbag which might pose a risk.

  • @GKO33
    @GKO33 Před 3 lety

    Do any of your videos show the re-install of the A pillar trim? I wired my dashcam through without fully removing it, but having trouble getting it tightly secured again.

    • @Rav4Gen5
      @Rav4Gen5  Před 3 lety

      I do not have a video and do not think I'll upload one for the A pillar. I do recall having to do it a could of times because it didn't seem right at first though. You're not alone in the struggle. Make sure wires are not in the way and align the trim clips as best you can before the final big push into the socket.

    My 2021 Rav4 sounds so tinny when it rains, was thinking of adding some sound deadner panels to the roof to help out.
    This is my first Toyota and I'm not really a fan, seems so cheaply made. No lights on the door buttons or overhead console which I think makes it so distracting at night tying to find the right buttons. Doors and roof metal seem so thin, can't believe Toyota doesn't add and sound dampening to this car. Don't believe I'd have another Toyota.
