- In this video I show you the tire setup on the apollo 125 for street tires and wheels! The wheels are 3.00x14 Mini Moto Wheels I ordered off ebay, I will link below! I started with 120/70-14 Michelin City Grip 2 Tires Front and Rear. The front tire was a bit big and rubbed the forks pretty good when coming down from wheelies. So I ordered the same tire but in a 90/90-14 which is a bit more skinny, Will be installing that in the next update and ride video along with some other upgrades! Hope you guys enjoyed the video!

@@emersonalvarado6730 I put the same as Kgrowlo did, brand and everything i bought 14inch with 15mm axle hole off of alli express. If I remember right it I got the 2.5 inch front width and 3.0 inch back. Hope this helps.

Definitely digging the look of the 14th think I might have to try this I've done two sets of the 12-in mags it's kind of curious to see how it rides and performs on a track maybe if you get some time make a vid
If I were to do it again I would probably go with 12 inch mags to be honest

Can the bikes stock wheels fit the tires? I just got the same exact bike and got the chain and sprocket on the way. Ive got a new carb on and its runnin great. Gonna fully sumo it out here in the winter, love the build glad to see you were having fun with it🤘🏼
I don’t believe so, the tires are too wide for the stock rims! You might be able to find some not as wide street tires for the stock wheels tho! 🤟thanks for watching!

Love the vid man def had to sub Ik im a bit late but Im lookin into pit bikes rn n wanted 2 kno ur opinion on height and weight see im like 5'9 but sum of the bikes out there look rlly small and others look like they would fit but they got the same size engine but im also a bit bigger if u get what im sayin🤣 at 250 n wanted to know how that bike fit you as its a pit bike i was lookin at a bike w out a headlight like apollo z40 do u think that would make it much harder to get everything together or just add 1 and how much did the title cost you eather way i appreciate the vid man learned alot on how to go about it
Appreciate the sub🤙so I’m 5’10 & 180 pounds and this 125 hauled me around just fine! They usually have a small wheel and a big wheel versions on the 110s and 125s and also a couple other sizes! So just ask before you buy! This was the big wheel 125! If you look back on some of my older videos when I had my blue 110 Apollo, that was the big wheel version and my buddy had the small wheel 110!
@@KGRowlo good to kno the height on yours is the small version of the z20 and z40 but they also got z20/40 max which is the same except like you said bigger wheels i believe they got the 19 and 16 wheels on the maxs did the seat hight fit you comfortably bc yk ur taller so if it fits you itll fit me in thinking the 125 version (z20) bc im also looking at putting a bigger engine it n the 40 has less support and prolly isnt goin to make a big difference n what did ya think on doin it ona bike w out a headlight would the wiring w that kit allow to add 1 or just have to get a another battery n wiring set up but i got 86 yamaha radian rn and its 600 n just want sum i can just drive around town mayb sum tricks n have something if 1 of my friends wanna ride 2 appreciate the response i def have 2 look into those older vids💯
I have the z40 and I’m 190 and 6’1 it’s a little slow but comfortable for my size . I love the Apollo bikes . Planning to buy more . If your interested in the z40 hmu with any questions
I'm building a pit bike, and I'm having a tough time finding the wheels I want. 1.6 x 17" ir 1.85" x 17" must be mag type with disc brakes. I've looked at importing some direct from Chyna but wow is that a frustrating experience, very difficult to deal with them.

Thanks man! No questions dumb bro, the spacers can be a pain and kinda hard to explain over typing, but you could always have a local MC shop do it, or if you are good with math and measurements you can do it! Basically need to find out the total space now and then end up with that size with your new spacers and keep the wheel centered!

Go on Facebook and search Apollo pitbikes and join that group! So much info and knowledge on there! I honestly don’t know what size would fit the stock wheels but I know people in that group that have done it👌

I maintenance it myself go over all the bolts and use loctite! Oil changes and go!

Awesome build man one question the spacers that you have listed in the description do I need to get just the one set for the front wheel or two sets for front and back
The bike has a factory set of spacers that comes with the bike front and back, but if you don’t want to use those you will have to order new ones and cut them down to make the wheel fit center🙏
Ok so the oem spacers will work with the Super Moto wheels?
@@devonereharris2371 yes but you have to cut them down smaller! So once you cut them down you won’t be able to go back to factory wheels unless you buy another set of spacers! which is why I listed those in the description👍Personally I didn’t want to screw up my factory spacers in case I ever wanted to put dirt tires back on! So I just bought a extra set of spacers to cut up for the supermoto wheels🤙hope that makes since

It’s hard to find street tires for those sizes, I would go a different wheel route

Have you ever had a issue with the front brake caliper rubbing on the brake disc or one of the bolts on the brake disc?
Nope, do you have the right size spacers in?
I bought the bike pretty much brand new off someone, it’s got the original spacers but I ain’t completely sure the person before me did anything to it, I put a new brake disc on and brakes but I noticed there was some grinding on the brake caliper I ordered a new one

Dirt setup front was 70/100-17 and the rear I believe was 90/100-14

Honestly I got my best results on Amazon just searching apollo or SSR 110/125 on Amazon followed by the part I needed! Chinese bikes have there own off brand parts, name brand parts just don’t work right in most applications!

@@KGRowlo well yes and no😄 you could get semi slicks and use them on road. I got a set of pmt slicks and mags for my bike and they work great on road, only if it’s sunny and hot out 😂🤣😂

Yes it’s just wider to accommodate wide street tires! 14x2.5 is what it is, stock are 14x1.5 I believe

You can just get street tires for the stock rims, But they won’t be as wide…..Stock rims are only like 1.5” wide, the street rims are 3” wide which allows for a much fatter street tire👍

@@notme9798 idk runs the street legal kit for 4-5 hours that I have rode and still had charge. Probably a different story with the headlight 🤷♂️that’s why I got the x19 so I didn’t have to worry about that!

@@BecuzScience719 you want the channels grooves in the tire to take water from the center of the tire out, if it was the other way it would be pulling water into the tire lol…. It even has rotation marks on the side of the tire, trust me it’s on right….
