A mostly useless fact about DNA’s ability to repair itself is very important in how cancer treatments work (radiation specifically). The treatments damage cells, cancerous and healthy cells, and the DNA in the healthy cells repair themselves but cancer cells do not have the ability to repair themselves so they die. I’m about 3 months into 6 months of cancer treatment so I’ve learned way more about this process than I ever wanted to know.

I am 55 now and I have recently changed almost all of my make up and have been changing skin care as I go along. For me the most important change I need to make was the make up. I have to go through all of my older stuff and simply get rid of it somehow, I have a hard time with that whole thing but I’m going to be moving soon so that should give me motivation
I know what you mean. The makeup we wore a few years ago just doesn't seem to look the same now. That's the reason I stopped buying as much luxury makeup. A lower price point allows me to make changes without feeling like I have to use the whole thing, when maybe it doesn't still wear as it once did. Good luck with your move!
