  • In this Sustainable Herbs Program webinar Jane Franch and Kayalin Akens-Irby provide an overview of the current landscape of carbon labeling in the US and the EU. They discuss why carbon labeling is important broadly and also more specifically to brands like Numi. And they demonstrate how it can done using Numi’s example, hopefully demystifying and inspiring others to consider the path.
Jane Franch is the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing & Sustainability at Numi Organic Tea, where she works with Numi’s supply ecosystem, from origin through manufacturing, to build strong partnerships and identify opportunities for shared impact.
Kayalin Akens-Irby is Chief of Staff at Planet FWD, the leading carbon management platform for consumer brands to tackle climate change. She also serves as a Board Member for the Upcycled Food Association and a Climate Fellow for Amasia VC.
