Economically motivated adulteration in the supply chain is real. It impacts product quality and safety and importantly, consumer trust and confidence. Learn how to identify irreparably defective articles (IDAs) and why they are a problem for the global nutritional products industry. Then, meet the BAPP best practices SOP and how to implement it, including utilizing supply-chain contracts and agreements. You’ll be joining a growing list of companies and organizations that have endorsed and/or implemented the SOP.
This event is produced in conjunction with SupplySide West and Informa Markets.
The ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program (BAPP) is the largest international consortium focused on reducing adulteration in botanical ingredients used in dietary (food) supplements, conventional foods, cosmetics, and other natural health products, and is a joint program of the American Botanical Council (ABC), the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP), and the University of Mississippi's National Center for Natural Products Research (NCNPR).
