Rainbow Plant Life Great video you obviously put a lot of work into it. It must be a bit of a pain to edit these great vids though. Well Done.
Great video as always👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Thank you for sharing. Where did you get the round silver seed/spice container? Blessings
Thanks so much for a wonderful video! I always love trying your recipes! I am interested in your morning tea and have a question: does it have to be the spice seeds or can it be the powdered version?
Where did you got that mini dutch oven?
That soy latte that isn't a latte we call Gold milk in sweden... Basically because you use turmeric and milk as the base and it has a golden hue to it but also I guess because it is gold for your immune system to eat turmeric :)
I love this woman. No dieting, no unrealistic idea of what a balanced diet looks like, no talk about calories or macros. Just good food and joy.
big hard no to diet culture 🙅🏽♀️ thank you Sandy!!
She’s my absolute favorite utube person. I adore her….and Max too. 🥰❤️🤗
I totally agree and she has some amazing recipes that are quite healthy too!
Just curious, do people consider intermittent fasting as part of diet culture??
@@imacatgorl I think it hugely depends on why someone's doing it. I do it because I've found it really helps my gut health, not for anything weight/appearance related :)
Anybody else spend hours binge watching her videos only to find you forgot to do what you were supposed to do that day😂😂😂😂😂🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️
Lifelong carnivore here. Have been making some lifestyle changes over the last couple of weeks. Exercise, better eating, the whole thing. My gf wanted me to check out the sauce in this video to make sometime. Ended up watching the whole thing and have made those addictively delicious frijoles twice now. Adding more plant based options into our menu now, so thanks for expanding my horizons a bit.
Thank you
Aw, nice. Glad you've expanded. Hope it does wonderful things for you
@Aerionix1. Fellow Keto-Carnivore here. Smart move bro. Tho there are amazing health benefits of with the Carnivore / Keto diet, there is so much to gain by intelligently adding certain plant based foods (esp. fermented foods) to one's diet. There are certain phytonutrients / micronutrients the body needs for optimal health that aren't as prevalent in animal based foods. In my opinion, combining the best of 'both' worlds (grass fed animals + plant based foods) is the way to go!
It's so refreshing to see a realistic, sustainable plant-based lifestyle. This is very similar to how I actually eat. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Kim! Cheers to that!
I love this way of eating--and no diet culture crap ("forbidden foods", calorie counting, etc). It took me 65 years to start eating this more balanced way. Attempting many more plant based meals--I find your channel extremely helpful for this. Thank you.
It took a me a while to get here too but it’s been the best decision of my life! I feel happy, nourished, sane, and just enjoy food for what it is! Glad you’re enjoying this way of eating after so long too!
I need to calory count or I eat to much every. Single. Time
@@maiadraconica6488 Whatever works for you.
@@maiadraconica6488
Don't calorie count ! Too difficult and tedious !! Just use portion control for best results. 🙂
@@SweetChicagoGator i literally cant portion controll, its why i have to calory count to lose weight
FINALLY a meal prep that understands I don't want to eat the same thing all the time (unless I randomly do, but not by plan).
Nisha, I love your recipes so much. Today I made your gingerbread cake, yesterday your tofu tikka masala, for Christmas your salted chocolate pie, a few weeks ago your red lentil curry and the breakfast burritos with tofu scramble.... They're all such high quality recipes that have been tested and communicated with care and love. I just hope that you know when you sit down every morning to plan out your work day that you are actually changing people's life for the better. And so does Max! You guys are a lovely team and I used to only watch the videos because they're so entertaining, but then they enhanced my love for cooking and following recipes as well. Thank you for all that you both do. Hope you see this because you deserve to know! ❤️ With love from Budapest, Hungary :)
Hi Dia! 🥰 thank you for making my day! So happy you’ve been making so many go my recipes and appreciate the feedback! I often get caught up in to-dos that I forget about the big picture so thank you for reminding me (and Max). We appreciate it so much ❤️
❤️❤️❤️🧡🧡🧡💛💛💛
It's so nice to see someone not promoting diet culture, making realistically achievable and generally affordable foods. Your videos helped me become a vegan much easier. Also these tips videos helped me not get stuck in ADHD purgatory when it came to food so I could avoid the start of an eating disorder. Thank you so much for creating such quality content
Thank you so much for you thoughtful note! I'm honored my videos have helped going vegan easier!
I've never know or listened to a vegan who promotes a diet culture. That's one of the whole points of eating healthy - tou don't have to diet.
So true about the snacks, I absolutely love to fill dates with peanut butter, it doesn't even feel like I'm eating something healthy. Also, adding fresh herbs to salads was a total game-changer for me :D
Totally - it feels like candy, almost! Definitely better than raw carrots and raw almonds lol And yes fresh herbs!! Makes salads so much more delightful!
I honestly enjoyed this more than I thought I would. You've inspired me to try out new things and maybe be a bit kinder to myself with regard to snacks. Having an eating disorder, snacks are usually not on my menu at all, but when I watch other people having a healthy relationship with food, I think to myself, maybe one day, I will be able to that. Please, make more videos like this. Some of us need an example to follow. This is so important. You're helping me and I'm sure many more people more than you know. And thank you for sharing your life with us. :)
I love that these videos are about whole food fruits and vegetable meals, not trying to make something taste like something else. Everything is so fresh looking it makes me want to try them. I tried once before but had such a hard time and ended up gaining weight, was bloated and lethargic. I am looking forward to starting this journey again after watching your videos. Please keep cooking!
No such thing as too much sourdough bread! Love this format, Nisha. Good luck with the book writing. ✍
Haha you have a good point! We froze leftovers and then got to enjoy it later. Thank you for the wishes!
My feelings exactly! That is gorgeous stuff.
I'd like to thank you for all the hard work you put into your channel. It's really helping my wife and me as we shift our diet. I really enjoy cooking, and you have a lot of delicious recipes on here. Thanks again!
Hey Evan! Thanks for dropping by and for your note. So nice to hear you’re enjoying cooking my recipes and shifting your diet!
“ My form of a balanced diet always makes room for dark chocolate and red wine. “ My sistah ! 🥰 I’m struggling with snack choices, off to see if I can find some inspiration in some of your vids. 🍏🫐🍷
Haha yes! Always! I definitely recommend my breakfast cookies - they are such a great snack anytime of day!

@@RainbowPlantLife Nisha, Thank you very much ! I’m am sorta new to your channel, loving your choices. 🌈💜
It was fun to see a little more of your life! You and Max are so cute!
🥰 thank you Sarah! Glad to hear it!
I am so happy that I discovered you just quite by chance. I'm not even vegan, but have ended making the hummus and the soup so far! Your recipes are realistic, simple and delish!! I'm excited every time I see a new video coming out!!
I just recovered from Covid. I used last week to return to the plant- based diet I know is best for me (but I fell off a year ago!). Now I'm ready and found you! Thank you for your efforts and your adorable personality. You are a 🌟
Nisha, I think you're fantastic! This video was the small dose of joy I needed. I haven't had the physical or mental energy to cook fresh meals for a few months, and watching you go through your day makes it feel easier for me to get back into it. Thank you!
This is genius! Peanut sauce is my fav salad dressing ever, so THANK YOU. I added a bit of MSG, Sichuan chili flakes, and blended in some roasted garlic. Delish!
I just stumbled onto your channel in this mornings search for more vegetarian options for our diet. So, before breakfast and for an hour after breakfast I watched several of your video's and I am absolutely HOOKED!!!!! I have a bunch of Indian spices from last year's couple month quest into indian cooking, again for less reliance on meat and for a flavor dense, nutrient packed dinner option. We have a place in Oceanside that we frequently escape the extreme hot and extreme cold of Northern Nevada, so I'm looking forward to our next romp down in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your spunky, quick, uncomplicated presentation and myriad of awesome ideas to help me in my quest for a more plant based repertoire. I'll be visiting your channel over and over! I am so stoked!!
Here's a tip about the giant bread. Put it in the fridge for a few hours before you slice it up (I mean after you've had that amazing first two slices off the end with lunch). The bread becomes much more firm and easier to slice. Then put it in those handy silicone zip bags and freeze it! I'm not vegan, but I'm always looking to reduce animal products in my life. I really love your approach & sense of humor. And your recipes look very tasty - thank you!
Thank you so much! The only problem is I now have even more or your recipes to add to the 'try' pile! Not that I'm complaining - everything I've made from your recipes so far is delicious! I'm so impressed and think your channel is next level - I tell people about it all the time. Best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.
You are too sweet, Suzy! Not necessarily a bad problem 😂 . Thank you so much for recommending my channel and so happy that you love it! Happy new year to you too!
Just learned in my biology of aging class that intermittent fasting increases lifespan, even when the cumulative amount of calories consumed is the same!
Ooh I hadn’t heard that benefit!! 🤩
I wish I clicked on this one sooner. I am quickly becoming obsessed with your meal prep videos. I've been subscribed for some time, and I absolutely love how your content has evolved. The editing is so charming and you are absolutely fun to watch. The educational aspect is just the cherry on top. I hope you get continued, massive success, Nisha, you deserve it!
One of my goals for 2022 is to incorporate more vegetarian meals. I've really enjoyed the recipes from your channel that I've tried! Happy 2022 to you!
Oh how lucky you are to live in a place where you have sun-ripened fruits and vegetables! I love these big farmers markets, so inspiring and colourful!
And I love your channel! 💖🌼 Please, more of these videos about balanced food 😘
It is honestly so refreshing to have someone that is nót into diet culture, but also can enjoy a glass of whine, but doesn't drink lemon anything or talks about detoxing your toe hairs. I personally love intermittent fasting as well, exactly for the same reasons you mentioned: I just like enjoying a meal at 12/13 and having 'half my work day done'. As I am not eating in the mornings I am superfocused usually and drinking lots of fluids.
PS: Absolutely love everything about your recipes, channel, personality, and food philosophy: but seeing you butcher that bread, I was honestly so glad you addressed it first haha :')
There's so much joy in your cooking! Since trying to eat more plant based, I've fallen back in love with cooking, and my meals are so much more delicious! Thanks for all that you do!
I get excited whenever you post. I want to go vegan but I know with your channel, it will be easy for me
🥰 thanks Winnie! I’m glad my videos are inspiring you to go vegan!
Nisha hit the nail on the head. Giving up meat was surprisingly easy. Dairy was the tricky part. As long as you make sure you're enjoying it (which are lots of bean and lentil dishes for me), it genuinely feels effortless years in. Good luck!

I love love this video and love all your recipes ❤️ I hate salads but after watching your video i have made a grocery list to include all ingredients for making the salads you showed. Love the creativity and effort you put in to make healthy recipes. Can’t wait for your next video. Happy New Year !
Great Video! You’ve inspired me today to do some prepping. I love it when my food is prepared and in the fridge for whenever I get hungry. Makes the week so much easier when it comes to food. Keep up the awesome content!
I am not vegan but I am still so excited to try out your recipes. My mom has a ‘no meat’ rule thrice a week at home Ndebele eggs are banned so I am constantly thinking about what to eat. This one video gave me so many ideas!
Nisha! I got the PDF you mailed out for these and made the cilantro-jalapeño yogurt sauce, brown rice, and the frijoles. AMAZING! Thank you! My New Years resolution is to cook through your Instant-pot cookbook front to back all year! So grateful for you, Nisha!

Hi Nisha, love the recipes and your style in explaining everything. I recently started intermittent fasting, so yes, I welcome any ideas. You are blessed to have someone like Max in your life 💖
I am so glad I found your channel. I can definitely relate to the things you used to do. I did one of your meal preps for this week and I'm loving it. I also purchased your instant pot cookbook and looking forward to making some of those. Keep up the great work!
This is so inspiring. Yours is the only vegan food channel I keep coming back to because of its practicality and charm. Thank you, Nisha!

Sooooo happy you have a new cookbook coming out!
Loved this video. Great inspiration. Love the ice cube hack for rice and using avocado to massage kale. Great to see Max and Hannah too! Was the abundance of year round produce a big reason why you moved from NY to Southern California (I know being near family was likely a huge draw)? Wishing you all a Happy New Year. Looking forward to the new cook book.
Hi Nicole! Thank you! The ice cube hack has changed my rice life lol. It was primarily just for family, but the abundant year-round produce is definitely a nice perk! Happy new year to you!
Hi Nisha! I really enjoyed watching your video! As a Korean subscriber, I wanted to tell you that the roasted seaweed you used for kale salad is Korean (I see it's written in Korean on the package) and we call it Gim. Nori is actually Japanese. I'm not bothered or anything since Nori is probably a more known name for seaweed in America, but I thought it would be cool to let you know! Have a good one :)
I just want to thank you for making food content informative, accessible and fun! Your tips helped me improve my cooking, gave me lots of inspiration and your videos never fail to make me smile or laugh :) I really enjoy learning about vegan cooking without it being all about diet or fitness, but more about what acutally makes you feeld good and happy
loving your decor!! beautiful mix of colors and wood!! Thank you for inspiration!!
love you foods! Im not vegan but Im on a mission to have more veggies in my life and I love you recipes. I have been binge watching your channel for food inspiration.

Happy New Year and thank you for this video , i hope you can do more this way. I love that you put your cookbook recipes in here. I do own by the way but life gets busy and i forget about all of your good recipes. I have beans soaking as we speak to make this dish. Thank you for the reminder and the meal planning inspiration. i love this kind of videos, they give me so much inspiration for new recipes and how to insert them in day to day life 😄
Yay! That’s so nice to hear Olivia! Love that it will be useful for your weekly meals!
LOVE your videos!!! Cannot wait to try the fudge. Love the tea and golden milk you made. I recently got on the kale train after discovering it finely chopped (like almost minced). Now I put kale in everything.
You’re so sweet, Lauren! I hope you will have if I just much as we do! Yes, finely finely chopped kale is way way better, so much easier to chew!
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing realistic tips and your personal experience with having a balanced diet this was super motivating and I appreciate you for creating this along with your books and pdf guides 🙏🏽The world needs more of this 🤞🏽✨💕

@@RainbowPlantLife your recipes are so good and have helped me to become 100 vegan 🌱 and to be a better cook 👩🍳
Loved this, Nisha! I’ve been vegan for 6/7 years at this point but it’s always nice to see how others eat. I saw the length of this video and was like 🥴 but you’re literally one the most entertaining foodtubers I follow. Also, am I the only white boy who gets confused by all the names for Indian beans/pulses? Yellow split peas, mung beans, moong dal… all the same? 🥴 for real this time lol
Lol I also saw the length of the video when my editors returns it and was like I hope it’s good 😅 Glad you think I’m entertaining! No worries, the terms are definitely confusing!
Yellow split lentils or moong dal is the split version (yellow in color) of the whole mung bean (which is green snd takes longer to cook). Yellow split peas are also different - a type of pea, not lentil. Personally, I love moong dal but I don’t like split peas very much. And mung beans, I like but usually only sprouted.
This is so full of good advice and good recipes. Simply amazing. This video inspired me to buy your cookbook. Thanks for this great content! Love your style and food tastes!
So happy I found this video! Thanks for sharing!!! Love it!
More of Max in your videos please! Loved this style of video.

I love all of your videos, but this one was really amazing! So interesting, well explained, inspiring. I went vegan at the beginning of pandemic here in Italy and I had the possibility and time to study, try, explore this wonderful world, at least one positive side of this crazy situation:) thank you and yes, it would be interesting a video about intermittent fasting!

@@RainbowPlantLife well, we're still working on it :) our culture is very much "meat and fish" based, but we're experimenting a positive change since every restaurant is now trying to offer vegan options and vegan restaurants are opening almost everywhere.
