Hi all, this is part 1 of 2 of my first visit to Manchester this year. It's so nice to visit here, as in my opinion it has the best viewing areas in the whole of the UK for plane spotting! You can't beat crystal clear views over active runways!
This video was filmed from half 7 in the morning until around half 9. And includes a lot of action for 2 hours. And a good variety of widebody movements as well, including the United 767 and American 767, both of which are new for Summer 2019; Albeit the American 767 has been in years before, but its still nice to see
It was certainly a beautiful morning as well, with no clouds in sight, and temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees. A lovely Spring day indeed.
Movements include: Etihad 787-10 Dreamliner, Thomas Cook A330's and A321's, Jet 2 757's, 737's and A330, Qatar A350, United 767, Ethiopian 787 in Star Alliance colours, Hainan A330, TUI 757's and 767, Virgin Atlantic 747, Easyjet A320 NEO's, Ryanair 737's, Air France A320, SAS A320 NEO, Flybe E175's and Dash 8's. And much much more

What gets me is how the aeroplane drivers know where to go too, and how they always find the airports!! It amazes me!!

The TC - Livery looks much better in combination with the good old Monarch Livery (G-TCVA at 40:00).
My personal highlight was the stunning Etihad B787-10!

19:52 My favourite Airline AND favourite Aircraft, the Boeing 757-200 with it's engine roar! I've been on one on a flight from Birmingham to Arrecife and back on TOM7762 back in 2015. It was brilliant!

I'm staying there, Manchester Airport from 12th to 14th August 2019 this year in the Radison Blu Hotel, it will be awesome! And I could be spotting anywhere e.g. Terminal 1 Level 13 car park, the airport pub, in the airport hotel and possibly where you were filming on Southside!
What about the Runway Visitor Park?
I didn’t go cause the bus broke down, and anyway that comment was last year.

Did you take these videos from the viewing platform or from the other side?
The other side, you can see the viewing platforms in the background as the planes go past. Also the camera angle is too low for it to be a viewing platform.

Simply avaiton went on that airbus a330 its mainly a military aircraft

This was southside, the mounds were removed from the visitor park. Luckily here, the best spot is still safe as sound

It seems Airbus has decided to start copying the winglets that Boeing put on their aircraft....Originally the A321 used to have small pointy winglets above and below the wing edge and now they've adopted the tall winglets simiilar to the Boeing 737's

Jet 2 prefer Boeing.
@@Lewis25. Jet 2 only recently had a batch of 737-800NG's delivered as well. If they went for anything more, perhaps the 737 MAX after the faults have been corrected. But yes their 757's are quite old, but old is gold in my opinion
Lewis Smiles maybe they will change their mind when people won’t fly Max it’s very uncertain they will.You don’t buy planes unless you have passengers to fill them do you.Im just a lady novice on airline blogs but the majority of the feeling even in US is Boeing have messed up their good name with Max but the investigation will decide won’t it. I only said Neo as I’m into acting now on climate change and Neo is a trully 21st Century aitcraft thats for sure I also saw on a blog The test flight of Airbus 350 -900 awesome from Toulouse to Filton in Uk what tests that plane had is astounding. I don’t think CAA will jump to allow Max over U.K skies they will test the public feeling to. I am convinced the minute people think their holiday is with a patched up plane killing Nearly 400 innocent people they won’t get on It I will not let my kids go on a Max on a one ticket no way. There is Dreamliner Jumbo etc all perfectly good Boeing craft and others. The investigation will decide for some who have not already decided yes that’s true.After Aljazeera program Broken Dreams terrifying and interestingly Boeing did not sue them that proves its true. That film trully shocked me on the culture in Boeing. Airbus guys true professionals I’m so proud of them. No software fixes overruling brilliant pilots ever again . My heart is with families of the dead
