"irrelevant of what the cool kids are doing".... you guys are the cool kids 😎
We have been and prob always will feel like moto-nerds, but we’ll admit that we def like cool stuff
revenge of the (moto) nerds!
I was like wait - what? I thought Taco set the bar. Because you do. 👊
IM OBSESSED! I have this exact bike - I live in BC Canada tho 😢 I wish I could get Tacomoto to trick out my bike like this!!! I am taking notes and doing research to find all the parts. You answered so many of my questions in this video. I'm still not 100% sure what tires are best for me yet but.... Proud to say, I have already have some of the stuff you suggested here. I'm very aligned with the filters to help decide what you use.
We have a build list on this
Email us and we’ll get it over to you

Awesome build 🤌 this thing is straight dipped in 🌮 sauce 🔥
Thanks🤘🏽🤘🏽
Do a special build for ItchyBoots! Even give it to her. No other human has popularised adventure riding or helped sell so many bikes as her ever. Ask KTM to donate the bike and all the other manufactures of parts they all will know her. Even call Revit, Arai, Mosko, get them to make a special outfitting to match the super cool look to fully set her up. Get a face, get Ian from Big Rock, video the whole process we want to see. Contact the Tour of Idaho guys and see if a pro and Itchy and Ian can go on a special 10 day tour and video it. See if Ryan from Fortnine will get a bike and go with -the insanely good short movie will be epic *they already know each other. Everyone on the planet will know Taco Moto and you will have to get a bigger shop. For this genius idea I want that bike..no?..tee-shirt?..ItchyBoots pic?..ok smiley emoji :) Everyone comment on this to show support ! She needs a proper lighter machine not an entry level CRF 300L or Himalayan 450!
😂 You are the cool kids, Mike…. Thanks for everything. I wish there was a resource like you for the 701 also. Someday…
Soooon🤘🏽🤘🏽
Taco Mike! Im so stoked you're doing this!
It’s been fun so far
Oh man those kick stands! I just ordered mine. Glad you brought those up in your videos!
It’s our absolute go to unit
awesome...can't wait to order one in the near future!
Same here 🤘🏽
Great build! 😎💨
Thank you! Cheers!
Just got my Molecule skid plate for my new bike from you guys. Will install this weekend. Heat shield for right leg, I've learned, must be next. Will be getting more protection parts little by little..
Also, thanks for the root beer barrels!
Thanks for your support and let us know if you need anything

You must have laughed for a month straight when you saw how trick my 450RL was , Im embarrassed What a nice bike
Your bike is a test sled, lovable for what it is
Great video, thanks for posting.
Do the Mousse Balls hold up ok with riding on the road?
Fantastic video as always.. did you guys ever try the cushdrive hubs, and if so any thoughts on them.. thanks
They add unsprung weight and complexity to the rear wheel but they make laying down power on hard pack a bit more comfortable
Hey let’s see some more beta videos!! I like everything your doing but more beta stuff please!
That’s on the way. Taking a bit longer than expected
The beta is a finicky little machine. It’s taking a bit longer to sort it out to our style of reliability and performance but we’re getting close
very nice bike.. Is the XC clamp bolted on top of a BRP undermount stabilizer kit?
No, it’s sitting on a XC stabilizer mount
Hey mike great video. On the 2024 models do you think a solution to lower the fuel suction point will be needed? Especially for big aftermarket tanks that go low and forward.
Yes it absolutely will and we’re finalizing the design of our end to end fuel solution on the new chassis bikes. Stay tuned
Awesome to hear, that will make it the perfect bike IMO
I would love the Ruby light on my Beta 2022 RR-S. Do you think there will ever be a kit for that?
Yes for sure
Out of curiosity, what do you think of the Highway Dirt Bikes Ultimate hand guards with built in mirrors? Is there any reason you wouldn't run them?
Thanks!
What's the secret to fix the gas cap from sticking on the 2020 ktm 350sxf.
Do you still have that direct connection feeling with the steering while using those rubber isolators from risers to bars? Another words, a true solid mount steering feel with the benefit of rubber dampening? Thanks for the info
There’s some things on a set up like this that make compromises for other benefits. Mousse are an example of that. A large front tire. A bar damping system like this is another. There is some loss of exactness traded for comfort and rider fatigue prevention. All of these things have a small learning curve and very easy to quickly adapt to
This is a great idea especially for someone that is looking for the best build in a turnkey solution! What about CA residents, is it easier for CA folks to bring in a bike that is already registered in CA? I very much like the idea of doing everything through you guys but registering an out of state dual sport bike in CA can be problematic!
We source a bike for the home market that the owner will need to clear any and all licensing authorities
@@TACOMOTOCO thanks!
Do you ever run the golden tyre Over the Shinko ? Looking for a tire that wears better for dual sport
What’s the wet (but without fuel) curb weight on a 350 build like this?
As it sits right now w a full tank of gas it’s 263 lbs
What kind of power are you guys getting out of the 350s with your maps and the get ecu?
Mid 40’s, prob 46-47
What is the lead time for getting one of these built?
Hey team, what total cost do you think this is before and after labour costs?
A build like this ends up being somewhere in the mid 20’s, bike included
Lots of talk about un sprung weight if that was such a concern of yours, I’m curious as to why you didn’t use a tubeless system. That systems gotta be at least 3 pounds, lighter per wheel than moose balls. And have you guys ever check the weight difference between moose balls and nitro mousses?
Tubeless are not reliable enough for the way back deep back country and baja
Is this for Bezos?
He could only be that lucky 😎
Is that Ruby Moto LED Headlight worth the $500 price? I’m seriously considering it because I night ride in the woods a lot and the cheap aftermarket LED lights just don’t cut it.
Yes
We have bins and bins of cheap lights that didn’t cut it
It’s our fav light
tacomoto.co/search?q=R7
do you gain more room behind these lights for the wiring? @@TACOMOTOCO
Are you guys taking suspension via mail? Do you have suspension shipping boxes?
Yes we are. The website is getting built out for that so for now you can email us for more deets at info@tacomoto.co🏁🏁
@TACOMOTOCO Awesome thanks!
Dang, when is Bill Gates picking up his bike?
He wishes this was his bike!
@@TACOMOTOCO 1 question, in the video you referred to the left hand lever as a, "brake" not a clutch. Was this in error or are you running it with no clutch because of the Rekluse?
@@ryanzone3675 yes good catch on that error
Clutch lever is what we meant
I couldn't get through 6 minutes of this video without hitting the pause button. I am just disappointed in such poor workmanship in a video. I am a senior rider that would appreciate alot more attention to detail especially if you are going to do a video for thousands of viewers to see. Otherwise how do you expect us dedicated riders to take you and your videos seriously?
Please make the video worthy of your time and post a link for us to learn from
How much you want for it?
You buy the first round of tacos 🤷🏼♀️
