Buwan is actually about being addicted to a substance, where it is represented by the girl. The MV actually screams alot of dicotomy about being happy when having a hit to being so scared of taking it again. The psychidelic color projection. The girl being tied meant that he is in control of it but later in the video, he's actually the one tied to the addiction.

I think, the girl being tied up in a chair is a metaphor for him, unable to let her go (even in memory). I think the girl is long gone (due to an accident, maybe? Bcoz of all those shots in a car and him, saving her on one scene). He argued with her because she doesn't want her to get hurt and go away. Hence, that scene where they're in a dark room. I think it represents his desperation to keep her but in the end, he's truly the one being tied up in a chair. Because he's trapped in the illusion that he's still with her.

"Buwan" in english means the "moon" or some fans speculates that if you turn the word buwan into spanish which is "Luna" it can be a wordplay for the word Lunatic as seen in Juan Karlos in the music video. So it's probably he lost his mind when his girlfriend in the video died although it is not shown that way, and as a result he begins to pretend that the girl is still with him, losing his mind in the process.

That's why the video is so dark and difficult to comprehend. It's about longing for a girl that he "lost" and remembering there past good memories. It's more like the 70's and 80's rock (Queen, Eagles) where the song is satirical.
