I have two phantom 4 batteries that were used less than 5 times, stored a few months and are now expensive bricks and don't charge. I must have read hundreds of comments of people facing the same issue with DJi batteries. Great drones, great App ,but their batteries suck.
Could you give me some pointers on the original Mavic pro battery. I recently purchased a new one and charged it to 100% and stored it in a cool dry place… I’m scared it might end up like the original one cuz it died and I only flew the drone once
The DJI Mini 2 has an Auto-Discharging Function to prevent swelling. The battery automatically discharges to approximately 96% of the battery level when it is idle for one day, and automatically discharges to approximately 72% of the battery level when it is idle for five days. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the days for discharge with the Mini 2.
4:00 is completely false, for example, with the mini 2’s lipo battery it lands at 3.5V most battery experts and sources state 3.2V is when damage can occur, sure you might get less cycles because your flying to a lower voltage. I would say land before damage judging by the volting and not emergency landing, low battery etc. voltage can vary to.
Awesome Information. Made me aware to get a compatible DJI Charger instead of just any 100w charger.
Excellent Video and Excellent Information. Thank You Anthony.
Glad you enjoyed it Doug! Thank you!

Mine haven’t even got to 80 cycles yet and two of them are swelled up I tried to take good care of them and I have the drone for 3 years now
Good info bro
Thank you!
And keep the electrical contacts away from dirt (like in a ziploc bag or li-po bag).
Yes that too!
How do you change the days for the discharge? I can’t seem to find any place to do that. I have a mini two.
