My wife and I did a bike tour with a local guide of the Yorktown battlefields a number of years ago. The bike ride back here where the the Rochambeau's French troops camped is an amazing ride. Highly recommend the ride. Also at the battlefields, you get a much better feel for how close the combatants really were to each other. You don't quite get that same feeling and idea of how close driving it by car.
Absolutely right Ron, we walked a lot of the fields and were both taken aback by the amount of earth that had to have been moved to form the Batteries in the area around Redoubt 9 & 10.
Another great Sunday bike ride! I appreciated the scenery, the water, the residential areas...loved it! Thank you. ❤️

Hey Darknight, we really enjoyed our time on the east coast and spent 4 weeks in Reston, VA where we rode the W & OD a bunch. We also just finished GAPCO which took us from Philly to DC via the GAP and CO trails.

What a great looking ride, where did you guys camp and how far were from this?
We were camped at the Chesapeake Bay RV Resort in Gloucester VA, about a 40 minute drive from the Yorktown Battlefield.

The video is good but I noticed you made turns on roads that said do not enter. Don't you think the laws apply to you? You give bike riders a bad name.
