    Thanks Liz and Paul, my wife and I ride every day to your great videos. we live in the northeast and use your videos to keep ourselves in shape on our stationary bikes during bad weather. we are currently building our own camper van to have similar great adventures. Keep up the fantastic job. You both make a great team.

    Hello! I thought that was only Paul riding because he was going so fast. And then I saw Paul! Holy cow Liz, you were flying! Over 30mph, even fast going up the bridge. Impressive. You couldn’t go that fast on your previous bike, could you? Way to go Paul, getting Liz back to healthy enough to be flying on her bike. I’m so happy for the both of you. Tough few months, but looking good now. 😊👍🏽 Love the new graphics on your video showing all the stats. Those are great! ❤️❤️

      Thanks Robert! I was doing all I could to stay in contact with Liz, especially going up that bridge, she put a gap on me that took a traffic signal for me to close it up 😩 But it's so great to have her back.

      Good for you Paul, we’re all happy you nursed Liz back to health. It’s great you’re both healthy again for rides. ❤️

    Sure is nice to see people in shorts and tee shirts! I live in the frozen state of Minnesota haven’t put one mile on my bike in about two months. Can’t wait!

    Great ride. I think I rode the sidewalk northbound and southbound on US-1 to the bridge to A1A. Makes me miss it already.

    Just did the Vero Beach ride. I spent a month last winter in Vero. Hubby waited until the day before we left KY to check the bike rack, and guess what, it was not compatible with the RV. So, no bikes with us. Did you get a chance to go south on US A1A to Ft Pierce? If not and you are back in the area, there is a ride along the beach road down Hutchinson Island. There is a pizza place on the ocean side to stop at on the way back North. Hubby knows he has to check the connection to the RV before we leave this year. I've been indoor riding watching your Videos to get in shape. Happy travels.

    First off love both channels and since I am in ohio right now been watching your rides on bike in the house..
    I have two questions getting ready to build my own on a trek hybrid.
    1. With rear engine how much drag on pedals do you feel when pedaling manually.
    2. Mid drive does being able to use gears really help?
    I like to do my cardio ride unassisted then use power to get back home.

    • @AmazingBikeRides
      @AmazingBikeRides  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Bob, Mid-drives seem to require more effort to ride with the motor turned off but just know that most if not all e-bike kits will allow you to dial in a % of assist where you can set it at 10 to 20% which will be just enough to compensate for the additional weight and drag.
      My bike (Juiced Cross Current X) has an "Eco" assist setting, that when used feels very much like my non-assisted road bike.

    I like this one! There is nobody in front to destroy the view. You have many beautiful rides but very distracting with a rider right in front of the camera. Bummer!!
