ugh. I know youre right. But good lord, it's such a massive undertaking and takes an incredible amount of time.
All the more reason to start now… slowly but surely you’ll learn all the pieces you need to be successful. 👊🏼 Thanks for watching!
Growth happens one step at a time. Go after it!!
Agreed 100%, I was focused 100% on photography at first, then moved over to videography and now making much more doing videos!
This studio/basement/spare room is so beautiful!!!!!!!!
It really has come together nicely! I’m very happy with it!
I’ve found that when posting consistently is important.
"Invest in yourself" is such excellent advice. Great video as always, Alex. 🧠
Definitely one of the hardest hitting lines in this video. I appreciate you taking the time to watch! 🙌🏼
This is so relevant even beyond car photography.
you should do mentorships, you're hella positive and super helpful with your videos
Thanks dude! I’m looking into something like this in the future, glad to know there is some interest!
More super useful information Alex, a lot to think about for sure. Its also amazing to follow along with you and follow your successes too 😊.
Love this style of video!
Good good stuff. We roll here together ...
Great video! These are tips i will be trying out! Keep up the great videos man!
Love it. Get after it mate 👊🏼
Great vid, agree with diversifying and learning different parts of creation.
Neeeed to!
Great content! You got a very nice office set up!
Thank you! Been a work of love that’s for sure!
Great Videos! I love to watch Your content and learn, I starte photography of cars.. I think about videos to.
Thank you for these videos 💙
My pleasure brother. 👊🏼
Im hyped for you! I believe you will hit 100,000 subscribers before the year is up!
Thank you for your time and knowledge 🙏
Man this is some free game right here
I am exactly your target audience for this post. 30 year portrait photographer that started doing car photo and now video just over a year ago. I've been watching your journey for over a year also. You have helped me a lot. I will say I have no issues with using premiere pro and I feel like it is basically free for me as I am already paying for photoshop and lightroom, so all the other programs in cc are gravy.
1000% man. I started moving into it this year and its made my audience grow and become much more attentive and engaged in what im doing as opposed to just admiring stills. Great video
Ya man! You are a perfect example. Absolute slayer photographer but the more you add your personality to the mix the more you allow us to engage in your content. Love seeing the videos man. Keep it up 👍🏼
Excellent points! I’m reaching that point you made at the end, where I’m married and need to be making money if I’m going to spend so much time on this. I’m digging deep into video this year because it seems to hold space for much more opportunity. Excited to be shooting my first short film in about a month at a drift event, which will be my showcase piece to show people and brands what I can offer! Been really enjoying learning from you, thanks for all of this awesome content!
Marriage is a great motivator haha. That’s awesome that you have an opportunity to shoot the drift stuff. 👊🏼 Kill it! My best advice for video is plan a simple shot list before hand. A little preproduction goes a loooooong way!
Real talk dude, great talking points! Video is the way everything is going now, and getting left behind means less £££
I do 90% video and like 10% photo now, but a few years back the split was so way more even!
Simply being able to offer both services means more money per client! 🙌🏼 Oh you want photos? How about a reel for your socials? Boom!
AWSOME vid dude i just started taking vids bought a new canera lens gimbal etc
Love to hear it! Get after it. 👊🏼
All great point my problem I’m just learning car photography and have no idea how to do a video to get my name out there or brand my self
Growth is continuous, we have to open horizons. Leaving our comfort zone to create something even better, even if it involves less good times. Let's take RISKS. Thanks Alex💥
Thank you for this video segment. As one who has started doing both this is good information know about. My own issues right now is I that I am working on the shot during a car show. They are all lined up. It makes for a challenging day. Also any advice on starting a video club. Something like a still life photography club, but geared to video only?
You are 100% correct. But I’ve played around with video on my Sony A7III and I just can’t create anything that I’m happy with. I honestly have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to video, and there’s not really many good videos to learn automotive videography. Like you said, everyone just shows how they take and edit their pictures. I’m looking for the same in-depth behind the scenes videos on videography
Thank you Alex for the kind words and inspiration! Love your content. See you in the next one ;)
Thanks my friend! I’m glad you’re enjoying the content man. 😃 See you in the next one! 🙏🏼
Awesome video! Can you share the link of the video you mention in 10:50?
Hey Alex, Thank you for your content! I've been having trouble with exporting photos & videos to social media like IG without losing image quality. Do you have any tips & tricks on export settings to not affect the quality of your pictures & videos?
Fine, i'll start CZcams
Haha. 😆 I’m telling ya!!!
yup! 100% and i do this with my RC cars :)
I just picked up a s5iix and I was wondering if you could make more videos on luts and presets. The settings on this thing are kinda overwhelming and I’m not really sure where to start.
Congrats man! Which part do you find overwhelming? I have a video on how to color grade log footage but I definitely could work on some presets for the S5iiX. It’s got such a beautiful image!
never been this early haha
Thanks for watching man!
Before I even started watching, I liked the topic
After watching? 😅
I have tried to make a few reels for my Instagram but when I come to edit something is always wrong with my videos. i notice I film too short, or too shaky, or not wide enough, do you think you can make a video showing us how to make a nice car video/ transition reel? like a short 10-second video? how to film and edit and all?? that would be game changing
I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve already made something like this. Check out my video called “how to use CapCut for cinematic car videos” it’s pretty awesome and should get you started.
@@TheCarCreative You are doing God's work, just watched it! thank you!!
Trying mate. Glad it’s helpful to you! 🙌🏼
Youre in slow motion mode?
I am?
