This is a good insight. How according to you can India solve it's unemployment and under employment problems! Any thoughts / videos are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
i subscribed your channel thinking you are someone who truly understands indian issues at root level, but after this video, i unsubscribed, students are not making efforts to make any change and are becoming lazy, every student want to use iphone and macbook but how many have earned it??, if you are doing enginnering and not aware of basic architecture of your device then its not government's fault its your fault as a student, same for mba if you are doing it and never sold anything then its useless, some people facilitate comfort other enjoys it and burn dreams, only a very few do the real struggle and achieve top position. failure of individual , and nation to have such lazy and unconcious youth, "You achieve your dream in furnace of sweat and blood"
Earlier I was blaming the candidates for unemployment due to poor academic background or lack of skills. But if IITs are failing to get their student employed then definitely there is something fundamentally wrong in our economy.
@@nspictures3689 agree it might be the case, I myself is a general category student. But even with reservations they shouldn't be as bad as you are saying. C'mon man IITB is really hard to get into.

@@sunnychoudhary6041 So I still don't agree with your thoughts and these are my points: 1) *Govt. Is a service agent*: Govt. Is not employing people from its own money. The money is collected from us in the form of taxes which are paid so that we can get better services . 2) *why govt jobs*: a) job security b) fixed income c) steady growth d) decent work life balance And as you said we want a comfortable life . Yes we do it's our right to live a comfortable stress free life. 3) What if govt. Cuts jobs: a)increased privatisation:As already seen in the schooling system private players will start providing the services ,which the govt is responsible for ,and will start charging way higher sums of money which a bottom level citizen won't be able to afford. b) citizens will see no benefit of paying such high taxes to the govt and thus black money will be at rise. c) No interference of govt in services will lead to autocracy of private players , as we already see in the form of hiked school fees . And lastly about me: I hail from a good enough family with a number of members serving in the military, govt Teachers and also in merchant Navy and private banks. So to say the least yes I do want a comfortable life while serving my country in govt. Jobs. Also, Many low income household who want to rise to the middle class aspire govt jobs because of its perks and I do align with their views.
The whole world is not coming to India because of Modi's mann ki baat. They are coming because of our population. There are lakhs of vacant posts in Government jobs but all exams are getting leaked. Modi promised 2cr jobs every year. Where are they? Any government is our servant. Let's stop cult worship and hold people in power accountable.

I want to tell my story over here. I graduated in engineering in 2010 ( shortly after recession). I took up whatever job came my way. Had very less salary, today too I earn approx 50% less compared to market standards. But.... from 2014 I applied for a loss assessors license, I struggled n I got it in 2019 dec. Covid hit. I applied for ibbi valuer license, studied n appeared n no time for 3 years n finally got it 2024. Now I have my own business. Reason to mention this , is u need skill to progress in life. Education just makes u ready for market. Engineering doesn't teach every thing....over a period of time u have enrich urself with knowledge.

Anyone who is saying people are not getting job because of lacks of skill is an idiot ...... because mostly (99%) companies give job training before hiring specially in manufacturing sector ..... but job market k hi lagi hui hain....
Abe gadhe 99% give training as per how to settle in their firms, they dont teach you the skill you need. If you join any IT company which uses JAVA 8 as a language, the company will show you how you will use JAVA 8 with them but for that you need to know JAVA 8 yourself 🤦🤦🤦
Educated Indians should be turned to redesigning an India on a full scale. Houses, schools, hospitals, inter-State highways, playgrounds, stadiums, airports, New modern railways. I believe it will all be possible, with the educated Town Planners, architects, software wizards, etc, etc. Like they created Infosys and enriched Silicon Valley with their talents, they can do for India.
The system makes it incredibly difficult for that to happen. By system, I mean the politicians, bureaucracy, and the government officials who are upholding those outdated policies and bureaucracy.
People are defending the issue of under placement by top institution of India. They don't understand how it is going to affect the current and upcoming generation and employment scenario.

I read somewhere that the population of India in 1900 was ~300 Million. That was ~125 years ago. Today the population is 1.5 Billion people. 5X what it was. Naman Bhai.....Things will only get worse than better as it relates to jobs if the country does not fix this root cause. I think the question that has to be asked is how a democratic country can slow down births (Incentivize citizens in someway?). I'm a first generation Indian born outside India (My family left India in 1969) and I had Indian citizenship until I renounced it in 2009. In all honesty, I felt having Indian Citizenship was a liability (Difficult to travel with, most countries need visas, etc.) and in my university days (I studied in the US) always feared and dreaded ending up in India......... Indians and especially Indians born and brought up in India are fiercely competitive and I've aways felt that if I ended up there I'd be squished like a bug.
Without fixing roots cause how can anyone eliminate any problem but all decredit goes to curent government Did ex government has made the base for latest trand in jobs Old government think that it will go for forever but now country like iran is making supersonic missiles So we have intilay lagged so much we need some exception person like some extraordinary talent or bles then we can survive either we can collapse due to different way of approach of two major party of this country

The problem, I believe, lies in the lack of changes in people's mindset. So many people do not believe in creating in the fields of technology, and arts. I'm pursuing a diploma in VFX and animation, but India ki industry ki halat to gazab hain. Arts wale fields be abhi mediocrity se bhara hua hain. The idea of an MBA selling tea or pakodas being beneath one's dignity is actually the problem with the Indian mindset to begin with. The Indian dream which is marked by elite B-school degrees followed by a cush corporate job in Bangalore or Delhi is riddled with gaping flaws which I will state here : 1. India needs more job creators and not job seekers. An MBA grad is nothing more than a glorified job seeker. He comes out with a fancy B-School degree and believes that McKinsey or Goldman Sachs owes him a job. But that's not how it works. B-Schools don't titrate their class sizes or tuition fees according to job trends. They sell their brand at a premium and try to keeps their numbers stable regardless of the job outlook. Why? Because it's a business for them. They are not going to garauntee you a job or tell you what to do later on. 2. If the cultural mindset in a country of 1.4 billion is to push 60-70% of kids into Engineering or Medicine then at some point obviously there aren't going to be enough jobs. This is a no brainer. 3. The guy who started Dunkin Donuts sold deep fried sweetened dough from a shack at one time. He turned it into a brand and globalized it. Now MBAs work for him. India needs someone to do that with Pakodas and Chai. India doesn't need more Sundar Pichais. India needs more Dr. Krishna Ellas, founder of Bharat Biotech which created Covaxin. 4. Indian parents tend to brainwash their kids into choosing 'secure' professions. This is understandable since their generation has seen harder times. But what this does is it pushes kids into only 2 or 3 professions. Now if 60% of a nation's kids chase 2 or 3 professions the security is gone. And if kids end up doing something else as a result of not getting the professions they wanted then they are seen as failures. We as a nation need to come out of this mindset.

Population is the main reason because huge population have already engineer graduates from 1991 to 2024 imagine and are holding IT jobs in huge number. 30-50 age groups never leave their IT job and trying to save their position as they have their family responsibilities and also most of the age group above 40 has huge salaries. Now next thing there is rpa and ai automation in most of the jobs, so industry would pay to implement which requires no manager, no team lead, but only few folks to just monitor and optimize. The real concern is without population control how will we manage the huge consumption where we are exhaustingly using our land for cultivation, declining ground water, releasing toxin substance like medicine and chemicals as we still dont know how to separate wet and dry garbage. Everyone in this era is travelling by their own vehicle imagine a billion population and in most of vehicle single person is driving. Why the critique around India's goverance is so "BJP can never be wrong" bias ? Sorry to say its mostly because of the ingrained idea that Kam se kam Abdul ko tight to kar rahe. Modi has done nothing to create job opportunities. MSMEs the sole abosrber of rural workforce has been destroyed by BJP. Also BJP was equally complacent in advocating for caste census. In Bihar they welcomed it and supported it. Do u think caste census is something thrown down the clouds ? Please read more about SECC. [EXCEPT IIT AND IIM] In my opinion the quality of education is decreasing due to these private Universities (High fee no skill in students) there are no regulatory bodies to stop their arbitrary even regulators are taking 💵 and provide Top grade to these Universities and Graduates from these Universities are doing the same job in very low pay this is one of the reason of unemployment of deserving people I may be wrong but this is what i have been observed and experienced
RICH GETTING FILTHY RICH 🤑 In 2022-23, the top 1% of the population held 22.6% of the country's income, the highest proportion in 100 years. The top 1% also own 40.1% of the country's wealth, which is also a record high. The bottom 50% of the population pays 64% of the country's goods and services tax (GST), while the top 10% only pays 4%

UPSC is not about just commenting on the permorfance of the government but also discussing about root causes and solution !! And as far as employment is concerned, its not that PM modi did try to create jobs...He has done better than other pro socialistic govt in job creation but since 2022 generative AI has hit the market and that is the major reason why IT firms have stopped Hiring more people + There is a recession lurking in Europe and USA and most of the Indian IT jobs are project outsourcing based !! It is the problem of specific market and dramatic technological shift !! AI revolution can be considered as fourth Industrial revolution and cannot be taken lightly !! @@sunnychoudhary6041 So I still don't agree with your thoughts and these are my points:
1) *Govt. Is a service agent*:
Govt. Is not employing people from its own money. The money is collected from us in the form of taxes which are paid so that we can get better services .
2) *why govt jobs*:
a) job security
b) fixed income
c) steady growth
d) decent work life balance
And as you said we want a comfortable life . Yes we do it's our right to live a comfortable stress free life.
3) What if govt. Cuts jobs:
a)increased privatisation:As already seen in the schooling system private players will start providing the services ,which the govt is responsible for ,and will start charging way higher sums of money which a bottom level citizen won't be able to afford.
b) citizens will see no benefit of paying such high taxes to the govt and thus black money will be at rise.
c) No interference of govt in services will lead to autocracy of private players , as we already see in the form of hiked school fees .
And lastly about me:
I hail from a good enough family with a number of members serving in the military, govt Teachers and also in merchant Navy and private banks. So to say the least yes I do want a comfortable life while serving my country in govt. Jobs.
Also,
Many low income household who want to rise to the middle class aspire govt jobs because of its perks and I do align with their views.

US, UK, AUS.. its on the backdrop of covid fall out.. If you remember post covid, most of the companies, specially Tech one, doublee their head count.. Such was demand.. Lots of people had multiple offers.. It was a market for applicant.. Salary were revised multiple time in a year to keep the talent.. Now situation is just different.. Demand is low.. It will be there this year.. Next year onwards, things would start getting better..
This is THE BEST content about India, I wish I could hit million likes.
If India takes inspiration from Arab spring, there will be 100s, very modest estimare, of such revolutions in a day in the country.

When selling poha gives you higher income and the freedom of working on your own terms you are compelled to do that task. This is what is happening in America. Lots of people after doing private jobs and being overworked gets motivated to take up such task due to freedom it gives apart from good money. We need to promote manufacturing to increase job opportunities.
Our whole employment was based on Service Sector coz earlier govt skipped Manufacturing Sector, service sector that was 90% foreign companies.... Foreign companies are going through recession due to pandemic and wars between Ukraine - Russia and Israel - Hamas - Iran! But unemployment is due to the govt? Then instead of telling the reality you're telling examples of Nationwide protests and Dethroning of Govt in different countries! Now I understand why you didn't clear UPSC as they would have noticed this Sadist mindset of yours Mr Naman!

The idea of an MBA selling tea or pakodas being beneath one's dignity is actually the problem with the Indian mindset to begin with.
The Indian dream which is marked by elite B-school degrees followed by a cush corporate job in Bangalore or Delhi is riddled with gaping flaws which I will state here :
I graduated from IIT Guwahati this year and have been unemployed since then. It has been a year since I finished my studies, and I have not been able to find a job. Now, I am considering starting a CZcams channel. I want to advise my younger brothers not to focus solely on getting into IIT or NIT. The competition is very high nowadays, making it difficult to secure a job. This situation has been prevalent since the BJP came to power, though it is not widely discussed.
I seriously admire your perspective on effects of economic crisis on social fabric of a country
The way we are heading is not good, job market suck, inflation way too high.
Sir, I am not preparing for UPSC, but I really love your content. You are a great person. You possess a wealth of knowledge and humility. You are making a significant difference in the lives of our youth. I hope that your videos garner millions of views. All the love and support to you!
While I agree with whatever you said,
If the government wants to help corporates by being more business friendly, we have people saying, Waive farmer loans too now
Wat??????
And IIT BOMBAY is shedding this failure by saying that some students are going for PG,some are doing othet stuff.😢
Most of these people are from Core engineering branches and hailed from rural areas. Professors are useless, the curriculum is outdated. The only thing we can do is to become professors and get absorbed in research and academia. Jobs are in the IT sector, education, health and Finance mostly.
Untill we have change in Political system and Judiciary we don't make a change.Society has no respect and fear on our law.We have no transparency in our system where our officers and Judges frightened to perform their duty ,as they don't like to effect their personal life by the bad tempered Politicians,Our Police officers are powerless under them......Still there are some daring officials!!
Untill we change this system...we won't see change !!
And we need Socially Responsible Students,Graduates, Aspirants and People.
It's requires blind believe of people because it requires very harshe and painful changes
China become china become many millions people sacrifice their life in economic reforms and changes
And then get the way to go ahead
But America has helped them in later and England in erilier
With USA tech they evolve
Assume if our population is lesser how much inflation and price of lands would be reduced.
Nothing is complicated to understand answer is easy
Don't blame the government and policies. The real issue the faulty memory based education system which never encourages creativity but obidience.
Government policies have created this rote learning system in the first place and this government is guilty of not changing it despite it being in power for the last 10 years. The government deserves its share of the blame.
Even when you do get good jobs the office politics doesn’t allow us to grow to our full potential there is always a feeling of oppression the best ideas don’t win
Currently Opposition is clueless and Congress has no vision in transforming bharat!! Instead they are interested in Caste Census and Increasing reservation limits!! Even though BJP has struggled to create job last two years , there is always a silverlining and there is no better option other than a strong govt at centre !!
BJP's triple engine govt in MH wholeheartdly gave away reservations to the mighty Marathas. Do u understand its already past 50 percent now in MH ? So tell me who's building a narrative around BJP being the sole knight in shining armour ?

Straight up BULLSHIT . 2019 INDIAN EMPLOYMENT WAS LOW . GDP SHRANK TO 2.5%
Imagine a country with such huge population , I think half the population of the world, depends on Europe or other countries for employment?? Is this madness? India should provide employment with zero dependence on other countries, that is REAL SWARAJ.
We are billions and cannot create a product to be marketed for us, by us. We should have " made in" "made for" "made by" "profited by" India policy, not the Microsoft or Google of US or Europe ( giving simple examples for clarity).
@@quirkyj1125 Not even the "Made in India" logo is made in India. It was designed by Oregon-based Wieden+Kennedy 🥲
Many brush this under the carpet and say it isnt a big deal
Unemployed youth in India are assured by PM Modi of 2 sacks of rice & 2 cylinders of cooking gas every 6 months. Modi is also offering unemployed youth 50% discount on Vande Bharat train tickets. Amit Shah has also promised all unemployed youth 15 lakhs rupees in their account by year 2047.
Lord Modi, the avatar of Lord Ram never fails the common man.
India does not have a demographic dividend. World has moved on to AI and automation which doesn't need millions of workers..
Now some fools will argue they dont have skill.😂
My rold model is you and your vision brother
People are missing important points & creating false narrative out of such statistics.
Many students now a days are focusing on start ups or doing something different rather than getting jobs, also expectations of students especially ones graduating from IITs arr high, they don't wanna accept normal 15 lakh p.a job offer, they wanna try something different & it's alright they have time & skills.
bro 15 lakhs is so much money, even tier 3 students rarely get such package.
Good way of presenting the problem what is the solution, we are in a democratic setup. Solution should be via electoral politics
no hope
left in current mp and mlas
they came in politics only for corruption over corruption.......😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

You are Spot-on NAMAN ! I hope people in India realize that we need to move forward by improving lives and not get sucked in by government and media propaganda which is pushing false narratives .Lets vote wisely so that more jobs can be created , unlike the current government which has legalized Extortion in the form of electoral bonds and thereby destroying the very fabric of India and Indian democracy.
Who is this guy naman ?? Anyone can tell me about him
Let's start a fight club.
Modi’s time is much better than Congress era for young people of india
Expectation doesn't meet reality leads to frustration.
Are you saying that unemployment lead to the Indian freedom struggle ? Or are you saying that freedom fighters were unemployed?
All the reasons are of choosing an wrong person in a wrong place for governance.
Unemployment crisis will rise with the increase in reservations. Incompetent people will increase and so will unemployment.
Unemployment is global catastrophe in making.
It's not only an Indian issue.
AI is taking jobs everywhere.

Blaming it on BJP government and Modi is like blaming your Grandmother for solar eclipse

When someone tried to learn skills, our regulator do silly thing like RBI did by banning currency derivative segment...
Yep so currency (INR) remains less volatile ,and no free market everything controlled by goverment ,I feel like we are slowly moving towards regime like China.
Help me make sense of this comment. 😂

In my opinion the quality of education is decreasing due to these private Universities (High fee no skill in students) there are no regulatory bodies to stop their arbitrary even regulators are taking 💵 and provide Top grade to these Universities and Graduates from these Universities are doing the same job in very low pay this is one of the reason of unemployment of deserving people
I may be wrong but this is what i have been observed and experienced

In 2022-23, the top 1% of the population held 22.6% of the country's income, the highest proportion in 100 years. The top 1% also own 40.1% of the country's wealth, which is also a record high.
The bottom 50% of the population pays 64% of the country's goods and services tax (GST), while the top 10% only pays 4%
correction ...
top 1% = 40 % wealth
And when we talk about this, they call us anti national. 😓
Homi bhabha n Kalam did not go to IITs and didn't expect humongous packages. Education and a degree are just entry points. You need to lower expectations and dedicate to 1 or 2 streams in your career. You will not only see exponential growth in earnings but also knowledge and satisfaction.
