Watchout, Luzran and knucklerot is coming to get you! They are like the fel reavers of ghostlands, such bad memories from those, just doing my quests when a huge abom suddenly start hitting me from nowhere.
NuclearProcessor Goddam i WISH i could find them i couldnt find them even when i abandoned the quest! And the area in my realm is so empty i kinda want to think they are hiding from me because there is no way they get killed so fast.... even now with my lvl 82 belf i sometimes go trough there and STILL no sign of them >X( ....
I found Luzran dead and loot his head to complete the quest....I had defeated Knockerlot with help from another player.I got the sword at last, but I died too many times. The Scourge shouldn't be here.
2:25 - absolutely breathtaking. Amazing how the music composers at Blizzard can bring such lively, vivid colors to a dead place such as the Ghostlands. Dammit, I miss this game SO much. I'm so glad all this music is uploaded, at least I can relive my memories in some way.
First time stepping into this place, with the deadscar behind me, this music starts to sound, and I thought to myself "I... I did this... It was me in WC3... This is incredibly terrifying... And awesome"
Very true. I never got into Wow like a lot of people but the lands, music, and history and story were amazing. That is what brought me back time and time again.
You know what was worse, going to Scarlet Monastery as Alliance, when mounts could only be bought at level 40 and 100 gold was a lot. So much death and covert missions infiltrating Horde territory trying to not be seen by some high level.
My first character was a Blood Elf Hunter, and when I was level 8 I decided to go to the Ghostlands, i didn't know where to go and I used just stuck with a load of those Wraith ghosts and stuff around me. Oh man I used to get killed all the time by vampiric mistbats and ghostclaw ravengers!
BC was my first WoW experience, and I remember my days leveling my mage in ghostlands, I log out on the main road, and when I log back in one Abomination was right next to me and kicks my ass lol
That piece was created for Shalandis Isle a small Night Elf Island West of the Ghostlands coast, it was the smallest area in game (outside capital cities) to contain its own music. Then after wotlk or cata the music was added to the temple in Darnassus
Best place to level if you're playing horde. I come here on every Horde char rather than tromping through the enormity of the... *shudder*... Barrens...
I liked the game when you'd spend half a day to just get to an area where you would like to level up in. Now you can basiclly *click* [Healer] or [Tank]...20 sec later..*your dungeon is ready*, It used to be call 'World of Warcraft' now its more like 'World of Sitting in a capital city waiting for queue to pop craft'.
2:20 - 2:15 Reminds me of: Gilneas Pirates of the Carribean Fable 2 A snowy and cold night by yourself on cristmas It really has a lonely and creepy feeling to it, but is sweet and innocent, like the essence of a child spirit.
I can't answer for who actually made this piece, but Uelmen was supposedly the main composer of the Burning Crusade expansion. So I'll give him credit for everything, makes it a tad bit easier. Great music btw, I have my 'WowMusic' playlist with most of the pieces in it. Runs in loop on a daily basis. :)
I agree. I think it's a shame because the graphics had become excellent... however I think I kind of liked how at the very beginning, the settings were less "real-world" like and more fantastical. That is, what with Uldum being so blatantly Egyptian and Pandaria being so blatantly Chinese, there's something about that that takes away from the imaginative aspect. In the beginning I'd liked the mystery of exploring weird zones.
@Supersomonerandom I agree! Cata is the only one that's kinda disappointed me, and the only reason for that is that a lot of the old music is hard to hear, like Shimmering Flats being replaced with other songs in the Tauren, Orc and Troll starting areas. Love the music in Hyjal and in Uldum.
You'd think that the boss in Silvermoon would have sent at least some 70 guards to take care of the trolls and scourge.I mean,it's been three coming to four. You'd think it'd all be fixed by Cataclysm.Maybe it's just me but I think Blizzard should change the Ghostlands an the Dead Scar in Eversong woods an awesome questing area to where you must fight the scourge and snuff out the remaining plagued animals and trolls left. When you're all done it should like an extended evensong woods.Am I right?
@Arathyrion Lol, yeah. I could see it happen tbh (not that I want to though), considering Blizzard's track record. If there is a disorder that classifies a story writer unable to let bosses die in a story, than the lore writing crew would had it. So far what we had was; Onyxiax3 Nefarianx2 Naxxramasx2 Kael'thasx2 Zul'Gurubx2 Dead Minesx2 Ragnarosx2 Not sure if I'm missing anything, but, yeah, the list is already long enough.
The starting areas for the BEs is still the best leveling experience, IMO. Great quests, great storyline. If you cared about lore at all, it was amazing. Blizzard actually put some love into it. Its a pity that when you have a lvl 70/80 you don't want to start all over again. I would just like to mention that Wotlk drove me, a loyal fan of the game, away. What a waste, Blizzard.
Classic - the zones up to level 50 were awesome, but the later ones like plaguelands or silithus were aweful, with the exception of wonderful winterspring, great music in cities and starting zones. TBC - great zones, great instances, great music but not on the level of classic WotLK - zones are less special than classic or tbc, but great music, on par with classic
***** Where can you find all the different individual tracks? I notice a lot of the tracks on this channel are made up of multiple smaller tracks. Any idea where I can get them individually?
@Nameherexxx Not in agreement here. WoW classic had the best soundtracks, but TBC is tightly close to that. I agree with WotLK though. The composers kinda lost their way, very very sadly, as I had hoped WotLK would've been the climax of WoW, considering where the RTS games ended.
Agreed. I did all the zones in Pandaria before finally quitting for good. That expansion is easily the least ambient expansion so far. There is absolutely nothing to drawl you in to the story line and events.
Didn't know all the revamps of Cataclysm as I've only played like literally a week, deinstalled the game, and haven't played since. But really, Scholomance too? Just looked up a video, the revamp looks nice though, but seriously, the revamp is completely out of any proper context now Northrend has been conquered. God Blizzard had artistic dignity until the end of TBC. I wish they had remained that way. /end rant
@andocomando2222 ...at least until the talentless hacks in the lore team bring him back from the dead with a stupid redemption plotline. Just let the last remnants of the formerly good lore rest in peace without being desecrated further, Blizzard...*sigh*
@Arathyrion illidan was the coolest boss ever. damn glaives never dropped though and the only time i seen them drop, stupid master looter gave them to a fucking mage.
Watchout, Luzran and knucklerot is coming to get you!
They are like the fel reavers of ghostlands, such bad memories from those, just doing my quests when a huge abom suddenly start hitting me from nowhere.
yea, but when you had the quest to kill them they would be nowhere to find :D, always someone killing them! Blood elfs had an amazing starting zone.

I always called the 6:14 one the Nazi-elves theme. It's even more relevant when you're doing the mana bomb quest line in Terokkar.
Soddarkryder wow, that's dark, haha
First time stepping into this place, with the deadscar behind me, this music starts to sound, and I thought to myself "I... I did this... It was me in WC3... This is incredibly terrifying... And awesome"
I remember how scared I was to cross the death scar when I was leveling there
ah man.......i miss those days
being a noob and stuff
thnx for reminding me....
peace
Very true. I never got into Wow like a lot of people but the lands, music, and history and story were amazing. That is what brought me back time and time again.
Same here. How can you not get addicted to this? You need to have a damn great real life to not get sucked into this.
always loved this theme... thats why im still coming back to ghostlands even on my high level character...
still listening in 2018. although I no longer play nor do I even recognize the game in its current state. WoW is the best game ever made
Agreed i think a lot of people are missing the true meaning of wow. The Adventure.
Absolutely unbelievable its been nearly 6 years since BC. I still remember going in to Best Buy to buy it when I was 15. Nostalgia just crit me.
You know what was worse, going to Scarlet Monastery as Alliance, when mounts could only be bought at level 40 and 100 gold was a lot. So much death and covert missions infiltrating Horde territory trying to not be seen by some high level.
This music, some of the first WoW music I ever heard when I join in TBC
Very fitting name for a zone. Because that's what it is.
I liked playing with my friend doing quest and along time ago we had problem killing giant undead and it was so fun spending time in ghostlands.......
I love the cello. It's quite beautifully played.
BC was my first WoW experience, and I remember my days leveling my mage in ghostlands, I log out on the main road, and when I log back in one Abomination was right next to me and kicks my ass lol

2:26
was only ever here once, was close to the border and popped in for a visit

- cooool, my last mob to kill for my quest
*behind me* Luzran: hello bitch!!
- oh f**k....
2:20 - 2:15
Reminds me of:
Gilneas
Pirates of the Carribean
Fable 2
A snowy and cold night by yourself on cristmas
It really has a lonely and creepy feeling to it, but is sweet and innocent, like the essence of a child spirit.

Not sure why i always think of this when i remember wow music
it plays on the night elf spy camps at ghostland and many of the night elven zones such as the temple of the moon -darnassus
I agree. I think it's a shame because the graphics had become excellent... however I think I kind of liked how at the very beginning, the settings were less "real-world" like and more fantastical. i like it when it starts at 2:44 its amazing!
1.20 - 2.20 is the best part
I hear that! Best post I've read
@Supersomonerandom I agree! Cata is the only one that's kinda disappointed me, and the only reason for that is that a lot of the old music is hard to hear, like Shimmering Flats being replaced with other songs in the Tauren, Orc and Troll starting areas. Love the music in Hyjal and in Uldum.
the violin part in the blood elf music is from god, god has sent this music to us. and lil help from blizzard
I remember that isle and how cool the music was. Also how hard it was not to agro the whole place. Nice pick up
Epic place but deadly place at level 11 :P Just watch out for those big nasty abominations called Knucklerot and Luzran
@Nameherexxx i love the wotlk music the most. ever heard of storm peaks music, taunka music and iron dwarf musics? theyre true masterpieces
part of this plays in suramar city now
From 2:25 is some of my favorite music in the game.
That would be the Temple of the Moon, in Darnassus.
wow i didn't knew that Ghostlands soundtrack is a mix from other tracks ...
The ghostlands are great, the dead scar is a great place to level up by mass killing
@losert22 Called '' Temple of The Moon '' by David Arkenstone .. You'll find it on Itunes ! = ))
Actually, I have great expectations of Cataclysm. World destruction=AWESOME :D however I'll sure miss some zones
💖

Classic WoW was the best because no1 knew how to play!!! IT'S AWESOME TO BE A NOOB IN THIS GAME AND THAT'S WHAT MADE CLASSIC LEGENDARY!
i concur
@Arathyrion Lol, yeah. I could see it happen tbh (not that I want to though), considering Blizzard's track record. If there is a disorder that classifies a story writer unable to let bosses die in a story, than the lore writing crew would had it.

@Supersomonerandom And what would that 10% be composed of?

@Last4xis yep. but im glad that theres a bunch of good tracks in cata, as well.
lol, actually i find 90% wow music great :)
Does anyone know the song at 4:19? Been looking for it everywhere >_>
The soundtrack is called "Angelic"
Thank you! :D
***** Where can you find all the different individual tracks? I notice a lot of the tracks on this channel are made up of multiple smaller tracks. Any idea where I can get them individually?
eridan ampora reminds me of the music in some night elf areas.
***** i think i remember it playing in darkshore and auberdine and maybe ashenvale :v
man.. i mis Wow1 :( the very first will be the best and nothing no expansions can replace it :)
BC was THE SHIT!
@Nameherexxx Not in agreement here. WoW classic had the best soundtracks, but TBC is tightly close to that. I agree with WotLK though. The composers kinda lost their way, very very sadly, as I had hoped WotLK would've been the climax of WoW, considering where the RTS games ended.
where does 2:40 to 5:00 play? i've never heard it in game...
@StevenThePhilosopher I liked Pre BC 2004-2005 the best
Late BC. I dread leveling my alts through outlands because the quests and zones are boring (minus Nagrand a bit).
My bad,
i ment 2:20 to 4:15
Agreed. I did all the zones in Pandaria before finally quitting for good. That expansion is easily the least ambient expansion so far. There is absolutely nothing to drawl you in to the story line and events.

I think they are both good, but disagree on HFpeninsular, best place in mo.
no one is in outland anymore, illidan wins!
@Arathyrion illidan was the coolest boss ever. damn glaives never dropped though and the only time i seen them drop, stupid master looter gave them to a fucking mage.
WOTLK was the best ever.....
/Y help!!!!! abomi come village
@Last4xis some boring ambience tracks, vanilla swamp music, stormwind music, shattrath music, etc. kinda boring stuff. however, just my opinion
