are you serious. i see people turn their head for this design. they nailed the design
@@user-fm5xf4pe6v Yeah, I really like the back design of this generation. The back design has gotten quite ugly these years...
Lol at the 2023 Accord
If u can afford the V6...GET IT!
you are wrong accords are always the most stylish in midsize sedans.
Front end grill is horrible...
+iishyxvietxboyii1 Really? I think it looks great.
lol OK Mr. Accord salesman...
2017 Mazda 6 is the best looking in my opinion.
camry sucks. lol.. id rather have an accord.
V6 is well worth the money.. makes it totally different driving experience than the I4. Not just talking about acceleration either - it's way smoother, quieter (no ridiculous CVT boat engine sounds), and just elevates the car to a higher level altogether. Honestly, I wouldn't even consider a base I4 with the CVT - look at the new Civic turbo models as the powercurve on that is far superior to the I4 Accord.
Right this guy says it doesn’t make sense to get the V6 because “the I4 gets UP TO 36 mpg and the V6 21/34 highway. How do you come to that conclusion after everything you just said ?! It’s literally only 2 mpg difference in Hwy. All the more reason to get the V6.
@Andy Pedro Maintenance is MORE expensive on the I4 considering the unreliable and expensive CVT>
I've had my 2017 Honda Accord V6 Touring ( in Lunar Silver Metallic) for about a good month now. Let me tell you, I've enjoyed every single minute in it! Upgrading from an '06 Honda Civic EX Coupe was night and day in terms of power. Yes, there is a slight difference in fuel efficiency between the 4-cylinder and V6 model but it isn't great enough for me to be forced to opt for the 4-cylinder. As you many know, the 4-banger has dramatically lesser amounts of HP. The fact that the Touring is the trim that has all the possible options in it, I must tell you that there are so much tech-options in this sucker that I haven't even been able to tinker around with all of them! The auto high-beam headlights, remote start, and Android Auto are among my favorite options. I love the fact that if I'm feeling a bit aggressive with my driving, the 278 horses that it comes with is more than enough to get the adrenaline flowing in you even if it slight (c'mon, this isn't an exotic car or anything so it's very reasonable). The ride is very smooth and quiet I must say. This is a vehicle that one should have absolute pride and confidence in driving as it has both a sophisticated touch to it while at the same time having a moderately-fun facet to it as well. And may I say that this is currently the last of the Honda Accords available in the V6 (unless they revert back to this option in the future)! Bottom line is that if you're in the market for a new car (family sedan segment), you definitely gotta give this make and model a test-drive while they still exist in dealer lots. I have a good feeling that those who've purchased this vehicle will be quite satisfied with it in the many years to come. Go Honda!!!!!
I'm curious, since you've had the car for awhile now. How is the seat comfort on long trips?
I always turn my head for this design , I love it
Looks way better than the Camry or taurus
@Lou yea but the 2018 accord looks better then 2018 camry
@Lou Camrys are always boring looking, the new one is just plain ugly
@Lou it looks better than the 2018+ accord and the 2018+ Camry 🤷🏻♂️😬
@@samuelwh4775 right lol
This is a very sharp looking vehicle in my opinion. I love its understated looks and touches of flair. The silver color is very rich looking. Great car and great looks. And personally, I think 33mpg on the highway is quite impressive considering the car has 278hp and can scoot to 60 in just under 6 seconds. No real gas mileage penalty buying the V6 over the 4. The power and fun of the V6 are easily worth the 3 mpgs you give up.
Understated, seriously? Those ridiculously huge rims are understated? I know who to never consult for fashion advice...
Seeking fashion advice should probably be the least of your concerns. Those rims are the flair. The body is understated. If you don't like the flair, you could choose a lesser trim level for more generic looking rims.
Andy Jacobs "Seeking fashion advice should probably be the least of your concerns."
Well, you're right. I rarely feel the need to ask...
Andy Jacobs
Enjoy the "flair" of your Accord sport lol. Only a braindead moron would use that kind of language to describe the appearance of an Accord. It's nice to have drivers to point and laugh at while I am on the road!
Why the harsh personal attack? Simply because I like the way a car looks and you don't? (And for the record, it's an Accord Touring, not Sport.) Are you even old enough to drive? You sound so juvenile. Just a reminder, no one is forcing you to buy one or even look at one.
4cyl over the 6 cyl!!! No way, the V6 is way more fun in my opinion.
R u kidding? 😂😂 the 2017 touring is the most beautiful accord honda has ever made
Damn, this car is a beauty!
Okudzeto Ackah AMEN.
Not Gorgeous? man this is the most beautiful mid size sedan for me
It's one of the best if not the best in the segment. It'll easily out last any other car in the price range. I have own roughly about 10 Hondas.. from accord to cr-v and pilot. We never have any real issues. From the look of it i think it looks as good as ever.
I thoroughly disagree with this guy's opinion on style (which is entirely objective though he states it like it's a fact), in my opinion and an incredible amount of others, this is one of the best looking sedans ever made. The exterior almost reminds me of a BMW, and in many ways I actually prefer the styling of the new accord to it. When comparing this to a BMW, it's the interior where it becomes clear that it's not of the same class due to BMWs attention to detail and quality of materials. But this car is phenomenal for it's class and price point when it comes to styling (and really everything else).
It's ok, you just forgot your glasses or you're inebriated...
Mason Dyer it really looks great in person, you will have a better perception closeup. :-)
kingdarius5252 dude you must be blind.
Been driving Accord for 7 years now. In fact had two of them and these cars don't require much attention when it comes to break downs. I've had an eye on this model for a while and everywhere I read and watch reviews, no one is complaining. It actually looks and feels like real car, and I'm talking about design of sedan styles these days.
actually the honda NA V6 is one of the best engines out there in $30k range. You will easily get 33mpg in highway which is quite a lot for a V6. Not even mercedes 300 or bmw 3 or audi a4 series offer better engine with twice the price and then you have to deal with turbo engine issues with them also. Plus the V6 options come with automatic 6 speed transmission, not the cvt.
my V6 touring gets 44 mpg on the highway thanks to VCM.
ive got a 2016 ex-l v6 and ive maxed it at 52 mpg going 60mph on flat desert freeway behind a big rig and no braking over 60 miles. Finished the 120 mile drive with 48 avg mpg.
Ian Chen 48 MPG in a v6???? thats amazing
tomal_rocks zoo
tomal_rocks yeah the 6 speed is nice , but 8 speed would of done major wonders for this car even more ..
I'm getting this; was looking into a luxury car but I'll just get this and save the difference
I own an '04 Accord V6 and it honestly feels luxurious to me. Not *fancy* persay, but it gets the job done, it's surprisingly fun to drive, and the check engine light happens maybe every 2-4 years even after several beatings I made this car take hooning it around as if it were a Mustang. The 2017 V6 Accord seems like a proper luxury car disguised a typical Honda. oml i want it.
V6 Touring accord 2017’ was one of the best looking car compare to other Japanese model car !! This is my third V6 Honda Accord and my personal experience give thumbs-up 👍 for this type model !! No matter what V6 Accord do have a long life span !!!
Amazingly comfortable in the back and the front seat set-up makes for a really pleasant driving experience!
This car is awesome
Average looking, in 2016 when this design came out was the best looking mid size sedan, and is even better looking than the 2018+ accords and better looking than the 2018+ Camry, this is for sure the best looking accord ever made 2016-2017 touring, it looks very good today, the Mazda is another good looking car but the back of the Mazda doesn’t look as good as the back of this accord
And this will blow the doors off the mazda .
Not stylish? This guy is clueless when it comes to style
Richard Z agree with you ;-)
Richard Z I mean look at the guy, he knows nothing about atyle
Looks damn good for a reliable sedan. My v6 6speed manual coupe by far the best car I have ever driven, fun to drive too
He’s wearing gray khakis and brown leather shoes never mind him
It's very nice looking.
I agree with most of your opinion. Thank you for a great video.
Btw, I'm kinda stuck between the exl v6 and the exl with nav and honda sensing. Those are both about 6000 miles, and about the same price ( 25k). What would you pick?
Fuel economy on the 4 banger to the V6 isn’t THAT drastic of a change. I hypermiled my 03 V6 and was able to achieve 31 mpg with mix highway and Main Street driving. If you keep your foot in the V6 it’s definitely going to hurt the economy. But it also takes away the experience! The CVT with the four cylinder (really all CVTs suck) is so boring and lackluster. To get ANY sort of ‘power’ from it, you have to step deep into the right peddle. Guess what? That hurts fuel economy! 😂
The V6 is a wolf in sheep clothing! I am currently buying a 17 touring here in a few days to become my new daily and I’m super stoked!
I test drove a Volkswagen Passat, Acura TLX V6, Infiniti Q50 and after driving the Honda Accord touring hybrid, I felt the suspension and handling was the best.
This is a great car, I have the EX-L V6. Best one I ever had by far!
I had same trim. Super fun to drive
I think it looks amazing!
Good video ! very easy and explicit. i like the questions-title style.
where's the guy bragging about his hyundai sonata saying honda and hyundai sound the same. not to sound like an asshole, but in my personal opinion hyundai and honda are pretty hard to confuse.
PS: I'm totally a honda guy
one of my pet peeves I see all the time is when people open the trunk by the spoiler or let the trunk bounce when they open it. and this guy did it
I think you're wrong this car is very beautiful
Mazda 2003-2005 has a wider trunk space with rear spring loaded folding seats.
2015 & 2016 accords have space for an additional usb port but Honda decided not to add it.
hi, I like the way you did overview of accord
Such a nice car!
KatriceJustice
I have the ex-l and the sound system is pretty awesome
Nice review
Best Accord of all time
I see you have a Nexus 6 + CaseMate Case...never thought I'd see someone with the same exact phone as me
how much he said ?? am asking about full option ?
Don't get the 4 cyclinder. It's super slow.
@ 3:02 Air's Moon Safari?? You all are gentlemen of class and distinction.
I'm the only one who finds this attractive 😍😍😍
4 years later..... no man me too want one so bad 🥲
Got mine in the "Kona Coffee" color. Love this car. The V6 is the only way to go.
daaamnn looks so goodd
This dude doesn’t sound like he likes Honda at all 😆
I love accord never been tired of driving accord. Unfortunately I had to sell it. but still I never found anything like accord but here in Australia its not famous. don't know because of holden or may be Toyota, but as per my personal opinion nothing in that class can beat accord especially 2008-2013 class v6
Make it rear wheel drive supercharged...... maybe one day
This car is very nice even at 5years old
Sorry but he is full of crap. I had a 2015 Accord with CVT and hated it. My 15 was totaled in a head on and our search began again. I wanted a Acura but wasn't willing to go that deep. It was between the Camry and Honda, although we sustained a lot of injuries from our accident, THe Honda faired well in the crash and probably saved us. I was hell bent on trying the 6 cyl and I would compare it to driving a Lexus or Acura. It was smooth and had more power. We made the purchase on the 2017 Accord Touring 6 cyl and don't regret it one bit. I love the camera on the right side when changing lanes and also wish the seats had cooling since I live in Florida. I wish there was a volume button on the new ones, kinda stupid that they took that away. But other than those minor things, we love it and don't regret our purchase this time.
Natalie Zdanovec Agree. V6 is cool. Driving it the first time on sport mode and accelerating like crazy, I felt I was on a cavalry charge :-)
Natalie Zdanovec. cvt was hated when it was only on paper. if you actually bought one when it became reality, than it's your loss. for future reference, allow new technology to prove itself over time before spending hard earned cash on somebodies stupid idea.
This car is beautiful what are you smoking
Nice choice in LaCroix flavor!
Why the sport edition dont have that touch screen and sound settings?
This is really comfortable and beautiful. I am from Brazil and I don't know for sure what the American people look or consider when they decide to buy a car. Just a curiosity. Here in Brazil we spend a lot to purchase a car, unfortunately. Most of us looks for design and items related with comfort and quality. The car must be cheat to maintain generally speaking.
I think you can talk more about items about safety that the car brings, if so. Just to get more information about it to the next videos.
Congrats!
Unfortunately we don't have since 5 years the accord in Spain because of the fashion of the suv's and the prestige of the audi a4, bmw 3 and mb c in the midsize luxury sedans.
Is the Touring worth it? I'm looking at the ex-l V6
Touring is top of the line, there is also the sport model. I love my v6 6speed manual coupe
2023 - V 6 still super - fast - reliable 😀
277,000 miles on mine. No issues whatsoever
HOW ARE THE SEATS
I would definitely take this in black over the comp.
Bought this car new. Just passed 277,000 miles and running like new, never had to repair anything
I’m buying this car tomorrow with only 37,000 miles on it. I have a long commute to work. Glad to know with proper maintenance it can get to 300k. Can’t wait!!!
I also bought this car about a year ago with 37k. What kind of maintenance did you do to get it to 277k?
I say one thing...I hate VCM modes on these Hondas. They should allow a button to kill off the VCM if choose too.
Louis Lee VCM allowed my TLX V6 to average 38mpg on a recent road trip.
F23A4 Accord I don't know about how quiet or well built the VCM on the Acuras are but on our 15 Honda Odyssey at 33,000 miles I can feel it switch and it's annoying. A jerk switch...if you ask me.
What sound systems do they offer? Bose? Harmon? Or just stock based?
the honda accord offers Bose audio system.
+Alex Daley No it doesn't lol
All the sound systems offered are stock based. Keep in mind that all of the sound systems offered whether it's the 4, 6, or 7 speakers on the Accord are very poor speakers and just suck in general. If you want good speakers you would have to buy an aftermarket unit.
+thebluexanadu78 and aftermarket has been quite impossible to setup on this car due to the car play and other unique settings in the unit. screw Honda for these wack ass speakers
Great, I had a test drive the car today and I love it. I will get it, but undecided on the color, which color should I get ?? don't like black!!
Candy_ Dreams33 that gray in the video
Candy_ Dreams33 i recommend lunar silver, it looks great....
Silverstone Metallic is really good
I'm confused I want a Lexus GS 350 but I can only afford use one 2014, 2015 or I can get this 2017 Honda accord touring.
Marina Yen get the accord
Nil P. I'm try to go test drive this weekend or next weekend. I didn't want to get it at first cause my younger sister got 2014 Honda accord sport. ☺
Yeah try it out its up to you lol
Nil P. I test drove Lexus IS 250 F Sport I like it but I think I'm old to be driving that lol also compact
I'll give my honest opinion here, I had a ex who had a Lexus and always dreamed of having one of my own, it was a smooth beauty, but if you can't afford to purchase one you can't afford to have it fixed when the warranty is over. I had a Infiniti G35 with no warr and fixing it was expensive. I just totaled a 2015 accord with 4 cyl CVT and hated it and had my mind set to NEVER AGAIN. Ny new love was a Acura MDX and really wanted one. We test drove the Lexus 350 and the Acura and wasn't willing to go that deep just like you, I had to let go of my love for them. Came back to Honda and test drove the 2017 Accord touring 6 cyl and just purchased it on Sunday. I don't regret it one bit. Sleek, smooth and fast just as I remember my ex's Lexus. Just make sure you test drive all of them and go with your gut. I should have listened to my gut on the 15 but didn't. I listened on the 17 and knew this was it.
This IS a gorgeous car tho
I rather get the 2017 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 manual. Since the coupe version of the Accord won't be made anymore and given that the manual is even rarer on this trim level, it will retain its value and may become highly desirable in the future.
Nice video but you gotta get that hair situation figured out lmaoo
Where is the storage for condom ?
🤨
Is the Touring worth the extra $ over the EX-L?
dngl21 36,999 is too much for a Accord. After taxes it would be 39,000 plus
Louis Lee the touring in usa can be bought for around $30K with taxes and fees
Mitul Jariwala a use one.not brand new.
Louis Lee a brand new one here in nj is for around $31k with all discounts and fees
I'm guessing you are just guessing. I have a brand new 2017 sport edition and I already looked at the touring edition ones and those does not go lower then 35000 brand new.
33 mpg hwy is fantastic for a v6
Compare to the 4 cylinder at 36mpg
Do I think you forgot to mention with the crappy stereo system in the V-6 touring it's extremely weak. How do I know I own one
Mine's not bad at all
Why would anyone want the base 4 cyl so you have to floor to get on the highway and still get run down by a minivan? no thanks I'll take the V6.
The V9 make...?
Nice!!!!!
It's getting long in the tooth, as to be expected since it's in its last model year.
I'd rather wait for the 2018 (next gen) accord. It's going to be based on the new Civic too which is needless to say, awesome.
From what i have read, they won't be making a V6 model for the 2018's
كم بالفعل اعشق هذي السياره انها جميله حقآ 🥰
they'll never change the looks because of the "family" label
The accord has a very simple sedan chassis. He is correct in that the accents and the rims make the vehicle seem modern and somewhat attractive . The dual spoke exhausts also make it pleasant to look at, but the shape of the vehicle is reminiscent of a typical mid-sized sedan, no curvy edges or pronounced hips,
Nice!
shoulda offered a different set of wheels for the touring
those wheels are the best ones honda has come up with last 5 years imo
i was gonna get it but the sound system wasn't booming
Mahesh Chinthaka I agree. I wish they used a better sound system, maybe harmon/kardon.
I got 2016 accord but doesn't beat Camry's storage space
I rented a Camry for a vacation and the Camry's trunk can handle two of the larger suitcases side by side. The Accord's trunk blocks that kind of storage on both sides as the trunk tapers towards the rear seat.
nice car
It looks beautiful to me. Tf u mean
Emily M I’m saying!! Car looks dope.
i would like to see a v6 6 speed in a 4 door
Look at the v6 6 spd coupe!
The one thing that sucks and I stress it so much because I have a exl v6 2016, NO FUCKING AUX PORT.. They need to bring that back
no details on the sound system
add an aftermarket lol
it has alot more flare to its sheet metal than the Acura tlx or ilx hell even rlx
I. Own. A. 2000. Honda. Accord. And. It. Is. Still. Going
ok, but a supercharged be work in would be nice.
just like the new nsx.
Well, less technology means reliability
I'll take 21 mpg over 11mpg on my navigator...
how its not stylish which other car come close to this for styling for the money . Its gotta be something wrong with ur eyes dude put some glases on alright! Love this car great job Honda :)
Found a 2016 audi a4 for 32k at my local dealer but i also like the accords. Idk man
Audi sucks after 3-5 years problems will show up .
Honda is the best period.
That was the one and only thing that made me not consider the accord. No Volume knobs. C'mon Honda, you could atleast put 2 knobs unlike Ford that overflows their cars with knobs and buttons until it looks like a cockpit.
While this is a good car, get the 4 cylinder? The cvt transmission blows. Get the 6 cylinder.
(Already owns it just wanna feel good about my purchase)
any issues?

v6 is waaay better
It has a V6 engine
