Yes, in the video you see gameplay against base level bots. Since, first of all, this is the only way to play in third-person mode so far. Secondly, my goal was to show the ability to play this mode in general, not any particular level of my game.

3rd Person camera will always be more immersive for me. Nothing draws me more into a game than watching my character's animations after each input. The better the animations, the more immersed i am.
This is why i absolutely adore what Rockstar has done in RDR 2. I love that they animated every single thing. It never gets old or irritating to me
First Person is supposed to make you feel like "its you" i suppose but devs do absolutely nothing to drive that point home. They tend to decide that plenty of animations are suddenly not necessary anymore like pushing a button or opening doors for example. You can never see your chest and most of the times you can't even see your feet when you look down.
They just attach a camera to a weapon and tell you "here you go! Its you! Aren't you inmersed?!". Nah bro, im not.
3rd Person Camera reigns supreme.

Glad I’m not the only one that sees this, don’t get me wrong first person gameplay is great aim wise but u can’t be giving the 3rd person these awesome animations and not expect me to want to see it
This actually looks like a new sequel to the more recent Ghost Recon games.
Also, having really punchy camera shake for recoil in third person works so much better than I'd expect.

Looks like a brand new cod game that actually has genuine story, badass cutscenes like Black Ops, custom camos and a balanced meta with Nuketown included for free

MW2 (2022) had a 3rd person mode and there was always some players in the game mode but pretty much no one cared about it.

Did you do it? Start playing as if its an actual human that youre [piloting] while still knowing youre [piloting] them?

What warzone needs is a a switchable camera between fpp and helmet cam as long as it is already implemented in game files .
And it seems to me that Sledgehammer could easily realize all this in this game, but for some reason they stubbornly don't want to do it.

You can switch between 1st/3rd person in zombies already, they could definitely do it to Warzone but it'd lead to people complaining about campers 3rd person peaking corners.

The thing that bothers me with the pre order Soap skins in 3rd person is that he doesn’t have any sidearm in his holster when you have one in your loadout like the rest of them…been a problem since the skin released and they still never fixed it

But with the third-person view and fights look more dynamic to me, and you can enjoy the look of your operator💪
His outfit is also grey in first person but it’s supposed to be black other than the vest.
Being an old Jarhead and not playing this game, I must say how impressed I am at the realism and accurate the recoil and sound is of each weapon. Almost has PTSD... almost, lol.

Ahh. Third person looks amazing here. The animations are very good.. better than most genuine third person shooters i've seen which is funny. This perspective lends itself very well to stealth gameplay. For example -The last of us Factions. I am imagining some very cool scenarios !

Problem with 3rd Person in COD is the wall camping… if they find a fix for that, it would be the perfect mode and hell put in the story mode too…

What like corner peeking? Being able to swap shoulders is enough to balance it out. It's not like it's putting anyone at a disadvantage considering all players can do it. Just gotta use cover and stay out of the open when possible.
That’s kinda half the point of third person... you get more environmental awareness
I hate campers, but that's the advantage of the third-person view - more visibility and awareness. And as much as we don't like it, it's their right to play ratty😅🤷🏽♂️

they should add character costumization where u can litterally costumize everything for your chracter

Looks great only thing that could be better is stagger animations when near explosions or when someone is shooting at or near the player.
It'd would be nice to be able to choose what the bots were wearing. FOR IMMERSION😂😂

This feature would be icing on the cake for private match, but they don’t care. At least the AI is a little better (they just don’t revive you in Cutthroat) and they fixed some issues with the models from MWII

It used to be 31/32 bots when the game came out. It was permanently reduced to the small number it is now of 11/12.
that was the reason i was playin in Warzone and they took it just like that ? is this mode in MW3 for always or its just temporary ?
Is it possible to invite a full lobby of friends and then be able to PvP?, for e.g maybe we host this up then post somewhere to add people to it? gotta be a niche community that'd be into doing this
Until they open 3rd lobbies to public like mw2, I'll just keep playing mw2 because making people create private lobbies, and only able to play with friends, is the dumbest idea.

It’s a shame you don’t rank up in combat training on MW3, like you could on Black Ops/Ghosts.
It's time for the Battle Passes. Therefore, it is not profitable for them to allow players to just improve their rank🤷🏽♂️

It works so well because it still uses the same amount of hits per weapon to bring someone down. When you are having to drop mags into someone like in the Division, it starts to lose its immersiveness...
I was fooling around with this earlier and it feels like a totally different game.
Only with the Oneshot gun, you could have raised the difficulty level a little bit 😂
I like the third person, the match is much more tactical and for me it should be implemented this option by default for those who maybe prefer to play in third person rather than first person, I hope the next one will be like that.

See, in this mode, I set the game mode to hardcore, where both me and my opponents are set to a minimum amount of health. So enemies can be killed by a single shot from the DMR or the powerful pistol I used😉
In fact, I hope they bring this mode back to the general public as early as MWIII. We'll see.
How does 3rd person view make it more tactical? You can see around the corner and see the enemy without them seeing you. There’s a reason why 3rd person isn’t popular. It’s a campfest worse than we already have now.

It was my favorite 6v6 mode in MWII.
And crazy how the game looks gorgeous without those hecking fluo camos and shitty skins...
You get a few of them when playing private matches with bots or at least I have, but sometimes yeah most are just the base skin. Feels a lot better.
Oh yeah, it would be great if you could customize your opponents with all those hideous brightly colored skins that have nothing to do with the real thing😉🤝

I believe the skin name is "Blackout" for MWII Season 1 battle pass. Unfortunately you cannot get this anymore.
