For everyone wondering. 3rd person was available for a Warzone mode prior to the Season 3 launch update. The third person gameplay shown in this video is only in Private Match. The black bars he added to make it look cinematic was probably a video edit, or he has a PC with an option to make certain games play in letterbox format.
It’s only against bots in Private Match. Leveling up is not available in Private Match. But the number of bots that can be played in this are 23/24 as of the midseason update in S2.

MW2 had some decent 3rd person game modes which are missing in MW3. Suggest you compare AI on extreme vs recruit and post a vid!

3rd person without the SBMM from Activision/Infinity Ward. Even though knowing it's against bots. Still better gameplay. Missing the old COD classics MW-MW3-BO-BO3.

We all want it badly. How I wish I could go through the story campaign in third person mode, that would be fantastic. But if we're realistic, it's unlikely to ever happen😔

Playing shooters in 3rd person is kinda dumb. It is less immersive and unrealistic. Seeing the figure's backside always in front of you is annoying unless one is gay.
Maybe they should add this to matching 🫠 you know, like we had it in mw2 but for some reason like most of the things that we had were removed in this 70$ dlc 🤣
By the way, yes. It's doubly ridiculous that we have to pay $70 for DLC, which in addition removed many favorite mode - absurd😅🤷🏽♂️
