Man gt7 psvr2 in the super formula cars on the Nordschliefe is the pinnacle of gaming I tell ya
That's what I've been hearing! Now we just need something comparable on pcvr
Before watching ! It's said "don't buy it BEFORE watching this"
Dude did I just reply to the wrong message ?
@ingeniussoul8390 haha I thought so. but to be fair, I did add the "before watching" a bit later.
I can hardly see the road up ahead and need to put in the guides just to be able to see where the track goes, or else I'm off, can't see the corner
thats so tru bro, im running on a 4090 with meta 3 and its so fling blurry
f1 2023 VR RACING is amazing. Quest 2 and steam. It takes a while to get it running. I'm fighten every time a 1002 error. At the next try it works fine. I don't know if its a projector problem, if I play with the projector a experience up shifting delays what I don't have when I play over the VR. Is it only me? (Fanatec CSL DD same with G29 / 923 )
It's far more mentally taxing using this in vr and having a real wheel. Time you're done, your arms are tight, and you want a little rest. .
Using a 1080 desktop with meta 3 and i have to use low graphics settings to get 50 to 70 frames :(
Im having a problem where my head movement feels laggy despite getting good performance. Just looking around feels very latent
What gpu and headset are you using?
I had that but only in the paddock, maybe it's the excess characters.
Have you tried tweaking the graphics settings?
@@thevrcoach quest 2 and 4080
@@mermaidslam7936 are you using it wirelessly? Happened to me
Thats basically what this guy says and everyone in the comments there, shaky. So its the game, not the gear.

Don’t buy it but you gave it an 8.2
8.2 Overall. I think the gameplay, replayability, immersion, and audience score are fantastic for the standard mode. Considering you get access to both when you purchase it, I still think it's worthwhile. The VR support is what brings it down. I say this in both the video and written review
Classic garbage content creator.
3080 gaming laptop, quest 1 here. I love it, on the verge to buy a quest 2 or 3. Still don’t know which to choose
Quest 3 is a great device!
I am playing on a pico neo 3 link and have to say that is pretty nice, howwever i also have a pico 4 and that was blurry as hell could not get it working nicely as the pico 3 both are linked to my pc one (pico3) is DP and the other is USB 3.0 , it seems that there are some work-arounds but that is asking investments that i dont want to make.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you, i thought it was just me noticing how poorly the VR graphics where this year in F1 23, who knows whether they'll fix it so i'm going back to AC which has stellar VR + gets regular mods updates for this years schedule tracks & cars as well as historic yearly incremental modes :)
Anytime, and thanks for the comment! That sounds really good. I've put it on my steam wishlist :)
Have fun doing time trails by yourself. Ill actually race with toher cars on every f1 track
AC has the worst implemented VR in history
@@kghhgkgk6322 Competizione or regular AC? I would disagree with either tho honestly
Tried this in VR today on a Reverb G2. Uninstalled if after over an hour or fiddling around. It's blurry even in the highest settings. The game just looks extremely weird in VR. It's worse than ACC. The draw distance is also really bad in VR. It's a mess, don't bother.
I don’t get why they don’t include VR in this game. Just pure laziness
Sorry I had to laugh, not sure how you can give a honest review using a Pico 4 wireless....did u you try it with a Pimax or a HP Reverb G2? Also you are using a laptop...not a dedicated worsktation for Sims...its a very expensive game and I feel proper equipment should be used in these kind of reviews...
You're probably right, man. Given the fact that I could get much better results just running the base game in flatscreen mode or other pc vr games with the same setup, I figured it would be worth sharing my experience. But anyway, thanks for the feedback. I will be more careful if I cover sim content in the future.
Try it with pico neo 3 link wired. Even better than reverb G2.
@@bigbadboogie6842 That is execly how i play it and its good, still you need a good GPU . But yes that worked nicely.
System requirements for the game state you need a 2070 for VR, I have a 3060ti and even in the lowest settings the vr experience is not good, in the sun on certain tracks it runs fine but doesn’t look great, as soon as it rains fps tanks which ok they kind of get a pass for F1 22 cause it was their first time doing VR for F1 but it’s a bit of a joke now
That sucks. You clearly have way over the system requirements. With the 4070, it's quite smooth even on high graphics, just looks like crap.
I feel like it’s a game you have to an extremely specd out computer. I got my f122 to run smooth but not look so great with a 3070ti but I can’t get f123 to look good enough to play. Just not enough vram
I think you're right there. Let's hope they do some sort of VR performance patch in the near future
@@wheeliebars The problem is it shouldn't be this gpu intensive, the game looks nice but enough to say I should need like a 4070 or whatever, and their requirements shouldn't be so low if they're basically a lie
VR in 2022 was total disaster at my PC. All other games like Assetto Corsa, Dirt 2 etc working smooth. F1 2022 was absolutely not playable. One big lag. I'm afraid to but 2023 copy now xD.
I bought 2022 and played like 10 min. Wasted money.
What are your system specs? I only ask because playing on a potato won't give you a good VR experience no matter how many settings you change.
Just tried it with the EA play demo, not worth it.
I managed to get it to look decent using 200% upscaling on my Index headset, but still quite far from being good.
I then booted up Project Cars 2 for at bit of comparison, and I can just get that game to look so much clearer and sharper and also, theres something about the scale that is a lot better.
VR in PC2 is just made sooo much better, and taking a RWD out on the Nordscheilfe is such a joy, whille being pleasant to look and and then topped with the awesome level of immersion that comes with VR racing.
The VR implementation in F1 2023 is garbage out of the bad, and mediocre at best.
So my Trail will not be extended, although i will say, had i been a bigger fan of F1 racing, i might have stuck around, but there are just much better Car racing games out there that supports VR better.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad you found yourself an enjoyable vr sim. Looks like Project Cars 2 has been delisted from Steam. Something about the rights for real-world tracks and them not wanting to renew.
I'm a huge f1 fan, so I'm still happily working my way through f1 23, but I'm playing on my monitor.
I gave back the game, i will not play VR with First Person Cam
G923 is not a good wheel. Any DD wheel is millions of times better. There are also very cheap entry wheels.
Honestly as a PSVR2 owner, GT7 graphics aren't that great compared to shining 4k flat screen. Ok it's immersive, but graphics aren't there yet. I don't even know how these headsets are 4k?!
Quest 2 will b blurry no matter what specs u have
Sounds like a you problem.
