  • The Fight Nerd takes a trip to Chinatown in NYC, to visit the Five Points Academy to talk with some of the teachers about the history and instruction of this diverse gym, as well as the interesting backgrounds of each teacher including Steve Milles, Simon Burgess, Emily Bearden and Teimoc Johnston-Ono.

    I was one of those Crunch trainers back then, but at 59th St. not Lafayette. I was asked to take a class because our FM wanted us to be "well rounded." I did so well that they asked me to come back and train, so I did and Muay Thai has been a passion ever since.
    Glad to see the crew is doing well.

    there will be more YAMMA goodness in time, this i can promise, but in the meantime youll have to suffer through my next batches of videos till the time is right for more YAMMA. In the meantime, how many animals can you name that you can replace their names with YAMMA? ill go first.

    Looks like a very, very nice school. Probably super expensive (yeah, I know all martial arts in NYC is expensive! LOL). I'm fascinated with Kali as well as Judo. First school I've seen that offers two such diverse arts (amongst others).

    are the both of the teacher are ajarn and do they teach real muay thai like making the shin bone hard to break a tree? please answer back
