Che meraviglia, un gioiello di scrittura borghese.
Yes, one of my favorites! Very fun to play, only one of two pieces by Parry I've had the chance to play.
@Silviola824 -- Lovely romp around Yorkshire Dales.....BRAVO from Acapulco!
@steveegallo3384 -- .....and STILL superb.....7 months later.............
Sounds really fun to play.
1:20 my favourite part to play
Was this opening movement used decades ago in a Datsun/Nissan TV commercial? Thanks for upload.
Was this work composed so early in Parry's career? I thought it was a late work
As stated on the IMSLP page for this work:
"The seven pieces, a few possibly left over from his Lady Radnor Suite of 1894, were assembled by Parry starting in 1914 but their order was ultimately determined by his student and copyist Emily Daymond after his death in 1918. Daymond also provided titles for the Caprice and Frolic movements and for the suite (originally titled E's Suite) itself."
Edited by Emily Daymond.
