HONDA IGX800 12GPM PRESSURE TEST (PSI)

- Today Im answering one of my viewers who asked if the 12GPM IGX800 does 3000 PSI. Per the specs of the engine its not suppose to hit 3k PSI but nonetheless the manufacturer puts the sticker on there. I went and bough a gauge to test the theory and I was actually shocked of what I discovered. I must say im happy with the result and definitely happy with the purchase of this unit!

You only need high pressure if you’re jetting through pipelines. I run a 10GPM @ 5200psi for cleaning pipelines and a quarter to half revs for down streaming, plus my P40 for the rest. Everything is calculated and set with the nozzles you use.
Yep I'm not planning on blasting no houses at high pressure
Yo Cliff.. they only second guessing you cause they ain't got the arms to squeeze out 2800-3000 psi and hold it like you and some of the rest of us 😆😆😆😆😆
Get it!!!! #1 fan
GLC Enterprises NOVA shoutout
Hahahhahahaha thanks brother 🙏🏽
Mane you bussin moves lol much love cliff
Thanks a lot
Great vid! To the person who was trying to say you don’t get 3000 PSI….NOBODY USES THAT HIGH PSI TO CLEAN SO IT DOESN’T MATTER! Cliff keep killin it bro!! Cmon up here to Charlotte for a visit!
Yea idk why they were worrying about that. It's all about GPM. I guess it was more so the listed PSI on the machine catching their attention
Lol I absolutely use 3k psi to clean concrete.
@@Johnnyreengo it's definitely doable. And a lot of ppl do. Some even use 4-5k psi
Hey @BB I'm in Tega Cay we should hook up sometime
@@jerrymeyers2075 oh yea!!
Hey, just stumbled across this video when researching the IGX800 engine. Based on the formula, this engine does have enough power to produce 3000 psi at 12gpm and if you were to pair the gun with a 12 gpm tip instead of the 15 gpm tip, you would definitely get that 3000 psi, if not more. Thanks for making the video and nice rig!
Nope. I did use a 12gpm nozzle. I don't have 15gpm tips.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I'm just quoting what you said in your video. At timestamp 1:43, you literally said you're using a 40-15 tip. Did you say this by mistake?
@cvillepowerwash1942 the 4015 in a pressure tip doesn't mean 15 gpm. That's not how it works when it comes to pressure nozzles, it literally means a 15 degree nozzle
New sub. New to pressure washing. There are a lot of jerks in this industry. I glad you're willing to give out info. It's refreshing.
Thanks for the sub. I appreciate the support 🙏🏽
Hey Cliff, I’m about to do a build.. how do you get enough water to do 8,10,or even 12 gpm thru your pump
Thank you Cliff
You're welcome
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure
Hey Cliff do you dial it down to surface clean or do you leave it at 2800
The surface cleaner operates a lower PSI due to the nozzle size. That 2800PSI is the very max pressure.
With you always still watching difficult times blessings to you always
I appreciate it 🙏🏽
Hey my brother, do you have a link for the exhaust tip with the curve that’s connected to the pressure washer at 4:01?
Nah I don't have a link for it but you can get them at NAPA auto parts.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Thanks 🙏🏾
What this video doesn't show is how tired the heat makes you by the end of the day. And we're just getting started this year
😅😅😅😅😅 yoooooo I try to get done by 2-3pm. Lately it's been wayyyy horrible
Cliff what did you do to lesson the pressure kickback when you squeeze the gun trigger?
I have a k7 unloader. It's a flow actuated unloader instead of a pressure trap unloader like a VRT3
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWashhey cliff do you have a video on that? Or can you make one?
@chrisdelacruz1355 unfortunately I only have k7 unloaders. Next time I work with Dujuan I'll show the difference.
Being that close, i bet if you played around with different tips (pause), you'd hit that 3000k psi.
Nah I'm only using a whip line. 200 psi aint happening in that short range
but is 2000 psi enough for surface cleaning old concrete?
If u got 10-12gpm hell yea.
Hey my brother what size hose do you use to feed the 10 gallon pressure washer?
From the buffer tank? 1.5 inch hose
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Thanks man
Cliff, have you used big bertha on your 8 gpm machine? Will it support a surface cleaner that big?
I did use the 36" on the 8gpm and I hated it! I had to walk super slow. I'm guessing the 31 inch mondo would be a little better but I have the nozzles set for the 12gpm only
Want me to crank it up even further and really get them talking?
😅😅😅😅 you're gonna make It do 10k PSI
Try taking the hose all the way off and use the green tip to get a real reading
The hose is 10-12 long lol. And the 15 degree tip is usable , the green one is a 25 degree.
You would probably see 3000psi with a 12gpm tip. 2800 at 12gpm is plenty though. That's alot of cleaning power!
Bigger tip? That tip is for a 12gpm lol it's the rinse tip on the Jrod.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash sorry, I thought you said it was a 4015 tip which is a 40 degree 15gpm pressure tip.
@jasonbraun9060 yea thats not what that stands for on pressure nozzles.
Question how Google work they just took 10 reviews from me granted I only had like 15 now I have 6 they gave one back 🤷♂️
That I'm not sure about. They've taken random ones from me before over the years.
Don’t your tips dictate the psi too? Try a zero degree and maybe you’ll get 3000 psi?
No lol that's not how it work. When you test a pressure washer you use the yellow tip or 15 degree nozzle
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash would that be the same when setting the unloaded?
@@masonsindelar2793 yes exactly
Priceless Info. The fact that you shared had to be humbling to Mr. Whoever. Keep Getting that 💰 Cliff!🫵🏿🙏🏿
I appreciate that my bro
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I know it's cheaper but how are you like the Pink Gun looks comfortable?
@darnellratcliff1482 so far so good. We'll see how it holds up with SH use for a few weeks
