Actually Yondu was not the only og Guardian to appear in the movies. Most (if not all) of the members of the original run made appearances in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and Vol 3 as the Ravager leaders. Two of those characters are actually played by Sylvester Stallone and Michael Rosenbaum
