The original video got taken down by CZcams for cyberbullying because I left a scammer's phone number in the video when he was trying to steal money from an 86-year old disabled lady. They fish for scam baiters who do this and the whole call center reports them then they call other scammer friends and have the call center report.
The way the whole scam center goes into panicked frenzy and they all start to turn on each other, is such a beautiful work of art.

I am in complete awe at what you achieved! I am 76 and have been the recipient of 400 calls but I managed initially, to tell them to piss off, and then I blocked the whole lot. Scammers beware! Not all people over 75 are drooling idiots.
Good stuff! Some youngsters fall for this stuff too sometimes... Like the "IRS" was calling me and so I went down to the real irs office in my town and asked what was going on and they told me the real deal and to tell the feds about it... Feds never called me back after leaving them a message with the phone number and everything but after that I didn't trust anyone calling me on the phone anymore and I block all of the scam likely numbers now also.

I work with the elderly and disabled and investigate reports of exploitation. Let me tell you when these poor folks fall for the scammers and take their life worth savings they tear up and break down in front of me. It is truly heartbreaking and infuriating because aside from reporting it to the police, they cannot do anything. They won’t get that money back. Thank you for what you do, truly I didn’t know there were people like you out there. It makes me so happy seeing this! :’)

I remember getting a call from the “IRS”. I knew it was a scam because a) the IRS will never call unless you leave a message, and b) the caller’s accent was too thick to be a legitimate IRS worker. I hung up on his ass while he was talking. 🤣
I tell them hold on while I go over to my computer. Then leave the phone off the hook.
I love the female callers and then start talking dirty to them... 😁
What tipped me off immediately was that they said "This is from IRS" which no one who has lived in the US (let alone worked for them) would *ever* say. It's always *the* IRS, never just 'IRS'.

I got scammed out of £200 and it honestly stopped me feeding my children. Never felt so low in all of my life, still clawing back from this and even had to ask family to borrow money. Thanks for everything you do it educates people who were naive as myself 💖

These Amazon scammers almost got me once. All these scambaiting channels have been a huge help for learning what to look out for. And my parents are so vulnerable to these scams. I told them never do anything anymore without consulting me first. They tried to connect with my mom on the computer but thank goodness she got suspicious and hung up. It was a close call.
Them: "Our records show a payment of $500. Did you make this purchase? Did you want to accept it or cancel it?"
Me: "yeah, I bought that."
Them: "... What?"
Me: "Yup. Nothing wrong. Thanks for checking, though!"
I love messing with them and their scripts lol

Most countries look after tourists. However, in India a tourist will be stripped of as much money as possible using manipulation and telling lies. With no cares at all for their situation.
I worked there for a year training people of the country in Finance. I disagree, the country is not beautiful enough to counter the way you are treated with fake smiles and hospitality.
There are better countries to go. Nepal (above India) who have much of the same culture, temples etc, but truly value their tourists.
What scambaiter shows here is just a more advanced way of doing it, and for more money.

It's because they're scamming people in other countries. Not really a huge concern for Indian law enforcement. Local police can often be payed off anyway. With the money they're making they can easily afford to pay for protection.

You can go to college and study psychology and make your own way to manipulate them even into giving you money (So that you can return to the legimate owner) or turn them to have an honest life (if you are into that). Or you can learn coding and hacking so you can monitor and control their life activities and help poor souls who... let's say... got ransomware in their pc or about be robbed online (Like Scambaiter does). There are many online courses you can buy too .

Like who has ever gotten a 3d payment? Or a bank letting your account get overdraft by $600? Or one rep being able to give you $1000 line of credit on any account 🤔 nope! That's why they target older people. Evil vultures. Im immediately suspicious of an accent now 🤦🏾♀️

Amazing work.. it’s so sad to see that these people target elderly people.. I can’t even imagine how many people actually get scammed..
They pick on elderly vulnerable & confused people who do not understand the technology then they pressurise them by talking really fast into doing things that they do not understand. This only works if they can gain access to your computer. So do not install anything they try to get you to install. Never give away your personal details. If you give a false name, address or other details it hardly seems to make any difference to their script. That should be warning enough. Then they will try to steal access to your phone. The best advice is to simply request that they send anything to you in writing at the address they should already have on their system then hang up. You will never hear from them again in writing but they might still try to pester you with phone calls. The accent is a dead giveaway.

In this day and age, and the many years of this stuff happening - you would think everyone would instantly figure out it's a scam simply by the Indian Accent these people have. India is by far the largest country where these scams happen from.
The problem is many legitimate companies also employ call center workers in India for things such as tech support (due to cheaper labor). This makes it slightly harder to tell whether you're talking with a scammer or just an ordinary worker.

@@metro3041 you’ll eventually have to deal with a legitimate call center in India I promise you that. I do a lot of biz on ebay, PayPal and they have Indian callers
China is full of scammers also.
its not always the case. Our very own help desk center after hours is somehow routed to India. Only we know the extension and they know our company account but they dont actually do any fixes they notify our US-side IT department. It seems like a long way around solving a problem but whatever I guess.
