- Ken used this film to instruct his gyro students in the 1970's. Times have changed and dual instruction is now available. Self instruction can be very dangerous.

Way cool! Brings back memories of watching my Dad build these when I was only 6 years old. I am 49 now...LOL! But still a cool flying machine.
Hi Ken! We met years ago @ Pt.Magu space air fair, and then @ 15 I was learnihg to fly a cub in corona ca, when i met Greg Price ( Hi Greg!) I learned a lot, I'm 52 now and considering buying one, it's funny to see some of the comments about safety. the first thing learned is not to substistute parts because this one is of better shear strenght! I built flight controls and was a crew chief in service, So thank' to all the great pilots I've met. Tom
This is the gyro that hangs in the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, WI.
I always wanted one of those! Shame Ken died...was definitely a pioneer when it came to autogyros.
I have a KB3 and will be taking lessons next month.Anyone going to Wren Ga end of this month?
Thanks for the videos Ken I watched you fly once, these gyros are great and you do a great job, I watched you hover one once in high winds and I was amazed and talked about it for a long time, sorry I didn't get to talk to you that day
3:15 - The method that we use to prime the pilot, is to apply a couple of shots of Vodka.
