For 25 days in June I vlogged my journey across America to get to Vidcon, LA, where CZcams's biggest stars gather every year to meet their fans.

Same, started watching casey after his Waterpark video. When he started vlogging I knew immediately he was going to be huge.
Fucking hell that gave me goosebumps, why did I get goosebumps looking at two grown men on a teacup ride. Fuck.
But seriously great series, providing a commentary on youtube culture whilst also creating endearing characters is quite a feat. All whilst giving us the giggles. If you do another one of these I'm all in.

Okay, so as aaaall these comments say this was a great story, beautifully executed, funny while you still become very emotionally attached to the characters.
But the real reason it hits so hard, I think, is because it's truth! And what I really appreciate about it is how you manage to say important stuff and make us think in the midst of all the entertainment. There are so many little comments and clever choices of words! Like Lewis talking about noise and the young generation, Beth's comments about likes and self worth - several other stuff... Thanks for being smart and talented and contributing on so many levels

I watched it 3 times so far. I"m sure I"ll watch it again a few times. I somehow also got re-directed by CZcams to "My Big Announcement" ...when Adrian was asking for $$ to fund the trip to Vid Con. It's even funnier to watch that one now.

Don't worry about Beth. We Americans send out the immigration police to the desert in Arizona where we hear that she's a foreigner trying to get to California. U.S. immigration police find foreigners all the time and save their lives, usually to send them back to where they came from .
I hope she has good luck crossing the minefields on the California border.
Im on my way to Arizona to capture and make Beth my porcupine, I mean concubine. We will have many children and name them CZcams, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Periscope, Beme (all boys) and Pinterest, Instagram and Etsy (the girls). Oh, and we will adopt a chinese orphan and call her Tencent. And have a 7 ft tall black LGBT housekeeper called Grindr. All the children will get social media accounts when theyre christened, and we will all live in a converted warehouse near Tottenham Court Rd Station because its the closest to the CZcams Space in London.
Robert Arpanet I think you've got the essence of that Beth character summarized well. One has to admit, she's a great actress to pull off that character so convincingly.

You have to keep on believing and make all the things you can in order to achieve your dreams, but don't forgot to just have a bit of fun, no matter how simple, during the day :) don't let the work take over your life..

The amount of work that went into the post production to make the story so immersive is really outstanding. It works so wonderfully as satire on youtube vlogger culture but also a genuine, poignant story of friendship. Thanks for an amazing Vlune!

Through gentle humour, Vlune makes a crucial point about vlogging/CZcams and indeed society as a whole. WE ALL NEED A GREG IN LIFE
The world would would be a better place if everyone had a 'Greg'
When I first started watching I must admit I didn't really get it. It all seemed random and badly made. I only watched a vlog or two of Vlogvember before I dismissed it. I had heard Casey Neistat praising Adrian to the skies and I thought there must be a reason behind it. So one day when I was bored I decided to give it a second chance and actually watch it from the beginning. Adrian's personality slowly began to grow on me until a point where I couldn't stop watching. I suddenly understood how geniusly it all was put together. The small jokes like “audio jungle” and “ugly” was hilarious and the continuity were beyond anything I’ve ever seen on CZcams. Very subtle but very brilliant. Then I started watching Adrian’s other stuff like “Vlogs From The Future” and the stuff he filmed and directed on other peoples channels. I came to realise that Adrian was not only very funny but also a very talented filmmaker and director. A lot of people often talks about how Casey Neistat is the most talented filmmaker on CZcams and don't get me wrong, I think Casey is brilliant. But Adrian is just so skilled and talented in so many different ways that I can safely say that he's the most genius and underrated person on entire CZcams. I truly mean that. So Adrian if you're actually reading this then keep on believing. All your fans know how much of a genius you are and I’m sure that the rest of world will soon realise that as well.
I am so emotionally touched by this video. I wish I could come up with the best sentences to describe how genius I think the whole of vlune was, and to tell you how much I loved every little moment of it. I maintain that he is the master of intricate moments and conveying through silences.
This was the most heartwarming ending I could have wanted, I'm so fulfilled.

Seriously you guys, you have managed to produce a series that makes you laugh, cry, think, experience a roller coaster of emotions and are left wanting more after each video. He may have just been noticing the camera Adrian was hand-holding for that scene. Or maybe he noticed Greg with his Mickey Mouse ears. And maybe there were some other Vlune staff close-by, we probably will never know.
Watching Greg smile brings joy to my heart. And I was crying at the same time.
Greg is our Silent Witness, our Higher Self, and our Inner Child all at once. Without him, life is vapid, empty, vain, and soulless. With him, everything shines with a golden light, happiness bursts forth spontaneously in every moment, and the meaning of all our little ambitions returns. Adrian almost reminds us of a modern day existentialist, perhaps a Bret Easton Ellis with a little Camus or Sartre. The common themes of vanity and hollowness are constant throughout the series. And for the capstone we have a Zen-like meta-commentary to remind us of the deeper layers of Self and meaning, both in the series named "vlune" and in life itself.
In summary, damn it Adrian, you're an impressive human
This is why I compared Adrian, in a previous comment, to Peter Sellars portrayal of the character Chance the Gardener in the movie "Being There". Is anyone else familiar with this movie? Maybe I'm wrong...but Adrian's persona reminds me of something, I can't put my finger on what or who it is... another idea is: hint of Stan Laurel? No. Geez, what is it? Oh, wait... I know!!!!! He's simply a complete original!!! It's l.o.v.e. though, it's L. O. V. E. " 💜"

Agreed - I think Adrian has all of those elements - But he's done something more. He's actually manipulated the media (e.g. "twitter and #CZcamsdrama") around this series to create a fictional world and he managed to pull off the last episodes in real time. Tolkien would be pleased.

This was by far the best CZcams series I have ever watched. I think I checked about 5 times a day if he uploaded a new video. I never screamed at a screen as loud as when he ran of from the meet up. I was never as upset with the German GEMA as I was when Vlune 23 WASNT AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY!?
Adrian, I know these videos take a lot like hell of a lot of time to make, but we will be here for Vlogust, Vlogtember, Vlogtober, Vlogvember, Vlogmas, Vlanuary.. you know.

Adrian, this is honestly one of the best web series out there. Vlune has been an emotional rollercoaster and it's awesome to see how your videos and talent as a filmmaker has changed since Vlogvember (which was great too, but Vlune surpassed it.) You should be very proud of this and how all 25 videos have been woven together to create a brilliant storyline, with satire, jokes, irony and of course, Beth. Such an improvement since November in such a short amount of time. Kudos, and I very much have my fingers crossed for future daily vlogs!
I can't believe something of this quality is available to watch for free on the Internet. Thank you for this. Probably the best thing I've seen on CZcams. Aside from the characters, humor, and music, the detail you put into these shots is incredible. Such gorgeous cinematography. That shot of you standing against the hotel window light was so beautiful. Only wish I had known about this earlier so I could've backed it on Kickstarter! This isn't just a series of vlogs, this has become a production quality film with a riveting storyline. More emotional and well thought out then the majority of movies I've seen

I am literally sobbing right now. All of the vlune episodes have been great and this end one was the perfect finale to the series. Although a storyline developed during vlogvember the use of a continuing storyline in vlune was far greater and really showed how these vlogs have blossomed. This series almost came from a different perception and the gradual introduction of characters meant that there were many different stories within the whole series! In fewer words you are a pure genius. Not only do you have the ability to write, edit and produce these videos but you have such creativity and your acting and character are spot on. I genuinely thought that there was no way that you could top vlogvember but I think that you have! There was such attention to detail in vlune with the editing and music and I really hope that your hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed x
the idea of another month of vlogs must seem horrifying right now but please I beg you to still upload occasionally!

It is just too easy to ignore the needs of those who are the closest to you and most important. When we are being smothered by the many who take from our inner selves and are so incapable of a balanced relationship with no desires to give what they so easily take from others. We are left emotionally emptied and physically lifeless. We need that special someone who when we are with fulfills us and we fulfill that otherwise empty hole. Bless you Adrian bliss . Honestly, earlier on in Vlune I was confused with the artistic shots, because these really started to look GOOD. The framing, structure, editing beats, color grading, etc. I thought this would just be an extension of Vlogvember with the intentionally horrible everything, but I'm SO glad it's not. Adrian (as a character) has honestly improved and found his style a bit more. This whole thing started out as a series mocking vlogs, playing off the fact that anyone can make them. But now it feel so much more celebratory, and shows how Youtubing (even filmmaking or art in general) is beautiful BECAUSE anyone can do it, and anyone can navigate their way through finding a style and becoming comfortable expressing themselves with enough time and effort.
Hopefully I'm not reading into this too much, but this is a huge message I took from the character growth from the first series into this one. Thanks for a great month Adrian, can't wait to see what you do in the future.

What a classic moment when Adrian opened the door into Casey's room to see the famous green arrow booster board. Literally thought Casey might enter the room talking to Greg on the phone and Adrian over hearing the conversation.

You know what I was just thinking? Don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but it would be cool to watch all 25 episodes strung together much like a feature length film. I'd really like to experience it that way, I wonder what it would be like...one big serving of Bliss!
CZcams enables you to make your own playlist, and string together as many Adrian episodes as you like, from Vlogvember through Vlune if you like. Then set the playlist to autoplay, (switch in upper right above the playlist). You can keep it private or set it to "share publicly". Just an idea you might want to try.
Oh, thanks for the info... but I kinda meant if Adrian actually edited Vlune together to his liking, how all the segments would flow and roll as one piece of work. And I get that this is a series, and all that, but I was just wondering how it would feel to watch this feature movie-length style! Thanks for replying!

Nah I really need time. Its so rich I compare it to Jacques Tati ant I need time after one or two episodes because it says so much artistically.

omfg THE END :( brought a tear to my eye. Adrian I knew of you before u started Vlogvember last year from seeing you in Ben and Louis and Casey's videos and I knew that you were a wonderful film maker, but this has been something extraordinary. The way you have captured the little things, the small details, the effort you have put into these videos and the way you have made all of your audience feel something real from a simple comedic series is just mind blowing and a pure talent. I do hope that you continue to make series like this in the future!!
