I ended up at this video because I never thought i would need this in a apartment. I was at home today with kids and a complete stranger that was 4 times my height and size was knocking at my door. I saw through the peep hole and didn't recognize the stranger and just let him knock. But while i picked up my two year old, my 5 year old went and unlocked the door and opened it and i ran an the stranger and i looked at eachother and he didn't speak so i immedietly shut the door and locked it and the stranger kept knocking. So i called the police and the guy walked off but i couldn't see where to. So here i am freaking out and trying to find some type of way to ease my mind & to feel safe with children at home.

@@r.k.youtube4888 …also…if you have fire stairs outside your windows, pick up a pack of sensors from home depot to place inside each window. I’m searching for a discreet door cam for inside. I don’t want the nosey neighbors or anyone else to see a ring cam.

Hi there, thank you for this,.. quick question, what would you suggest for first floor bedroom apartment windows ?? I think if I get the front door covered with one of the three options, then the only window / entry left is the bedroom window . Thanks for any consideration:-)

It's hard to believe that it's 2021 and there's still no camera that simply slips into the peephole of your door. I live in an apartment and they don't allow anything on the exterior of the door. There's nothing I can use that's of any quality.
Same. I actually had eufy wireless cameras up pointed at my door and car and was told to remove them because I'm not allowed to 'modify the outside appearance'.
Unfortunately, the p2p pin hole cam works inside the door. There’s three apps required to use these cams and they’re FAULTY. The app developers in China will not respond to customers complaints, but the cams are still being sold everywhere. Amazon for starters and they won’t remove them. I have a few I can’t use bc if that.

Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. czcams.com/users/postUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

We live in apartment that is inside a building. Looking for cameras that store directly to a local source without using cloud services and other things, sees through windows at night well and can sit on the window sills.
Anything u could recommend to a renter that is NVR compatible for on premise but not on camera recording? Or both but key is NVR recordable.
And as a follow up…if it could work with motion sensors too that is ideal

Try a anti theft doorbell mount, you put the doorbell camera inside and it attaches to your door, the mount is made in steel

Thank you, we have a townhouse and have the Crorzar. It is a decent camera and system but I have to keep the shades open to run it 24/7. If you find more like the Panasonic home hawk definitely post the reviews.

Hanging things on the doors is verboten where i live. And, that camera doesn't sound very affordable. I'm not looking to break the bank to protect a place i don't own.

After talking to a lawyer they can't stop you from installing a camera all you have to say is you fear for your safety And there is nothing they can do and nothing they can do I live in an apartment and I have 22 camera setup because where I live is a bad area I don't fear for my safety I just like to know what's going on all around me also have 2 cameras in each of my cars

My lease says that we can't have cameras pointing outside the door because it doesn't respect the privacy of other tenants in the common area/hallway. Wtf. Is that legal??
