Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality...
Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is:
A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures.
Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” didn't bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing...
The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. A story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable edition with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb!

If you ever see Dimash live you will see he makes a point to introduce and thank every member of his team. He has an amazing team and he even once surprised his back up singer by calling him to the front and letting him sing while he himself sat down and played the piano. Very polite, humble and always respectful is what you always get with Dimash. His MV's are incredible. The Story of One Sky is another one where he composed the music, did the story, sang every note (seems like 8 people) and was one of the main characters. He again notes the lyricist. It is an intense and often hard to watch video about war and the need for peace and tolerance of other people, their culture, religion etc. Just have a tissue handy.

If you want to hear some more of this man's range (he's trained classical / bel canto since age 6) then I suggest getting around to his feature at Bastau, Diva Dance from the Fifth Element (if you recall that was recorded and played on a keyboard because it is "impossible" to sing)... and as a treat if you want to hear his whistle range a bit, check out the same song in a medley aside classical Chinese opera singer Li YuGang, also an incredible singer.
I recommend "Sinful Passion". Oh... that song also has one of the longest single breath runs you'll ever hear in your life.
Listening to this man sing is a master class in vocal range and expression. By the way, his current range is 8 octaves. He has sung in 16 languages. Other mentions are "Opera 2", "Olimpico", "Stranger" and "Across Endless Dimensions".

I hear a ton of blues in the song: the bass line, way down south by the river, the growls and moans. The "every little step" bit is jazzy, sounds like scat. The guitar solo is blues-rocky. There's nowhere he can't or won't go it seems.

Thank you for being one of the very few that don't go overboard with his range. His range is 6 octaves and 2 semitones. Everywhere I see people saying 7 and just saw someone trying to say 8 octaves just yesterday.

The most popular clip of "Stranger" is not live, the one on Super Shine Brothers is. And the fancam clip of "When I've got you" is only half life, because you can clearly hear he only sings the verses live and the choruses are pre-recorded because the sound is significantly softer and different. But: when you point out facts, some "Dears" resort to quite "un-dearly" behavior.
@@jayeginn5963 I like to consider myself a Dear, but there's ALOT of what I call Stan Dears.if you know Eminem, you know the Stan reference. Yeah, not all his "live" performances are actually live. Which is fine cuz he did actually have to sing it that way to make the prerecorded version. Some TV shows and whatnot won't let artists actually sing it live. Some of these people out here just can't understand that.

He became a super star in 2017 in China's competition "Singer" there are 14 weeks, and he sings so many of his greatest songs there, in different languages, they had never invited someone so young ( 22 at the time) or a foreigner either, they couldn't give him the first place, but in reality he won millions of new fans ,and this kicked off his new stardom, there are subtitles available, and it is great to see the back stage responses of the other singers. He knocked their socks off. It is so much fun watching a newbie react to this amazing miracle in our midst.

I love most of the songs on the show but one of my favourites is Confessa and diva dance, also Hello. I’m not gonna lie, I would take Dimash with or without nails 😉. Joking aside, he changed my life in the best way. Not only is he an amazing artist but he’s also an fantastic human being. If you react to “the story of one sky”, which is a masterpiece ,you will see what I mean.

Many times Dears and Nightwish Army share the same fan base. They both recognize outstanding work. One of my bucket list wish is to have Floor and Dimash collaborate in an album together. If they were both live together it would probably melt the stage.
