Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. A song with so many styles of singing, and yes, a few times sounding like a duet. Then there was the grand angelic high pitched section followed by the typical Middle Eastern cultural voice and finally finishing off with that amazing twisted 23 second run. This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters.

This performance with the band A-Studio was to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The song was originally sung by their lead singer Batyrkhan Shukenov who died in 2015. Dimash sang it softly as a mark of respect, and it was similar to how the original song went but with several different vocals. Then he switches to the trademark Dimashisms, he wrote the entire spectacular ending. That last part with all the runs and riffs was 24 seconds long. 9:40 this song is a bit different then normal DIMASH performance. this was a cover song with original band on stage with Dimash, so first part was being truth to original song, then he took off in his usual way with acrobatics noone ever saw before.

Yes, until he doesn't do his signature high notes. He doesn't do that in every single song and I've watched reactors spend the entire reaction just waiting with bated breath and anticipation. Then when it doesn't happen they've wasted the whole reaction just waiting for that. So that's just a heads up Don't anticipate that every time.
