I have known the Lord for many years. I was a teenager when I got saved. I'm 62 years old now. I have recently been diagnosed with dementia. I'm in the 1st stage. I don't want to forget who He is & all that He has done for me!
Two points: 2 Timothy 1:7. "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, or timidity, but God gave us a Spirit of power & authority, of Love, & of a sound, disciplined mind. " God is Spirit & we worship Him in Spirit & in Truth. Your relationship with Jesus is in your spirit & His Spirit dwells in you. You will never forget Him. He will always dwell in you & speak in your spirit. Keep speaking His Word over yourself. Keep worshipping Him every day. He is your Father, & He loves you!!
I’m learning to take every thought captive. When I begin to think about something negative I say no to myself. Then I switch it to something positive. For example - I got furloughed from my job because of Covid. I can be upset because I’m not working now. But instead, I will say thank you Lord that I don’t have to go to a job every day that I hate. Thank you that I can spend more time with you. Thank you Christine for this lesson and your encouragement. I enjoy watching these videos.
Be encouraged YeHoVah has something better for you. Keep exercising your faith. Speak The Word over yourself. Faith comes by hearing and hearing The Word of God. I pray blessings and favor over you, for wisdom, discernment, provision and direction.
Number 4: watch my thoughts! For a long time I’ve been living in a imaginary world, creating a perfect life, a handsome and loving husband, a friendly son, a big house. I used to daydream a lot! In the beginning of this month, a man broke up with me and I accept very well on the phone, but my mind keeps calling him and making up conversations. Yesterday I watched a video named “crucify your fantasies” and it helped me to see how dangerous it is to spend so much of my time living for fantasies. So in the afternoon, every time my mind would call him or going to a fantasy show I would say: Lord, please, help me. Again, my mind is trying to do this and that. It worked! I believe this is going to help me stay in the presente and TRUST God. This morning I decided to understand more about my heart and I’m glad the Holy Spirit showed me your video sister. Thank you for posting it and now I’m going to start the heart study with you. May God bless you.
When I start to worry about anything, or when I'm confronted by situations that would challenge me to think and/or act in ways that are not Christ-like, I am working to remember to take everything to God in prayer before sayin or doing anything. I'm so blessed by this message. Thank you!
God has been recently teaching me to also take every thought captive and change the channel in my mind. If I’m thinking negatively of someone or something 😬 I ask for forgiveness and then purposely think of things that are good, praise worthy, pure, lovely etc. I’d think of what God has saved me from, be thankful for the good things and good ppl I have in my life, thankful for my health and His word n my family and His never changing character. And when thinking negatively of a person I’ve learned to find 3 good things that I’m thankful for in that person and Thank God for them so my heart wouldn’t have bitterness towards them.
Arise mighty women of God!! This is our time to shine the glorious HOPE of Our Beloved Bridegroom King. We were created for such a time as this!! Stand strong. Be courageous. You are a beacon of LIGHT to others. Set your eyes on Him. Go forth and be radiant!!
Good studies, but I would put proverbs 23:26 as my base text, because us as humans tend to forget these things, but when we put ours hearts in the hands of the Lord, then he’ll take control from there. God bless

This was a great teaching and reminder that I have to be intentional. I have been highly sensitive lately to the people I hang around and listening to the words that come out of their mouths and how that impacts me. It is uplifting and encouraging or complaining, defeated and hopeless?
