Same, girl, same.

Mood
Omg me😂
Mee too :”)
I remember less each day
Your laugh
Your smile
Your gentle way.
I search my brain
Then entertain
The thought of you
With me again.
And for a while
I wear a smile
But then once more
You start to fade.
I try and try
To only find
That you’re not here
And I remain.
Gabe Thornes this is beautiful
This is wonderful, actually I really felt this one. Thank you.
This is simple yet so amazing. Beautiful.

so incredibly impactiful, passionate, and emotion invoking

Like a broken record, you just repeat.
Missing lines, skipping beats
Your notes are random
Your meaning blurred
You sing a song to me
But I don’t hear any words.
I've seen your heart, I’ve felt the beat
With each note you play, you draw me in
Enticing strings call my name
Distorted chords you wrote in pain
They harmonize in sweet accord
And combine to form a perfect melody.
The song you sing cries out to me
Distorted chords in harmony
Composed from pain; a melodic sympathy
Perfect symmetry; vivid imagery
Forged in fire; my affinity
You are my song; a beautiful eccentricity
This one gave me chills, thanks for sharing
Okay, I usually can't stand these, but this was somehow really well done.
This reaches you 5 years later. Maybe it comes as a reminder for you to write again.
His eyes were like a kaleidoscope,
Changing colors when he was happy,
Or when he was sad.
Changing colours when he cried,
Or when he smiled.
They danced between shades,
And I could never decide
What colour they really were.
But one day, I found out.
They were blank,
Staring up at the sky
One last time
With nothing left in them.
The sparkle was gone,
And so was he.
This really stood out to me. It's just really good 😄
Edit: Your name as well, seems all too familiar

Poems come from the the deepest part of our heart
The darkest secrets
The scars and the hurt
The pains we couldn't
Enunciate to no one
We are carrying them
In our bleeding heart

I am experiencing this right now. I am praying I haven't lost my ability to write. I hope you found yours!!
I fell in love with you after you died
Into deep brown Mona Lisa eyes
That followed us around the room
From the last taken portrait of you
I held your sister as she cried
Dressed in your favourite clothes
The liveliest of your household now silenced
And drifting through rooms as a ghost
I listened to your mother as she tried
Tried to thank me for coming to - to -
"He would've liked that you're here
I'm sure he really liked you."
I flinched when your father lied
He smiled, said he was fine
He played us your favourite song
But... didn't sing along.
Great piece, Dima.
I applaud you.
this is beautiful, do you publish you poems online anywhere?
This is beautiful 💕 may I please have your permission to perform this piece for my speech and debate class? I am supposed to choose a poem that I like and perform it in front of a crowd. I would give you credit
This is beautiful
The scent of your after-shave
mingled with medicine and coffee,
Your radiant laughter was a new spring flower
blossoming out of the barren winter.
Though brief, this is beautiful

Reveals how human responses could be transformed. Raising our words and what unites us all in our human condition, rather than just raising our ego shields and arrows.
My first poem ever, ballad, wrote it when i was 13,
Ever since she drew her last breath,
She took away my soul.
And forgot to gave me back my heart,
And parts of me she stole.
I asked her just the day before,
Am i forgiven yet?
With makeup running down her eyes,
I just cannot forget.
I should've begged,
I should've cried,
Shouldn't have let her go,
Without atleast, a goodbye hug.
I was as cold as snow.
How dare you leave me all alone?
How dare you walk away?
I lost my excuse for living,
Congrats, you made me pay.
U literally made me cry and happy at the same time . I mean wow . . I hope you dont mind me sharing it .
Omg
Don't ever f.king stop. Work more you'll be a great human. Did you really did it when you was 13...? Just wow.

Leonora
I remember the way
The sun lights up your eyes
As we laugh, cry, listen
Sigh under summer skies
You make my day.
The light breeze breathes
Upon your hair
And your fair face.
Now I lay down
On the meadow
Smiling, laughing
Crying and sighing
But all alone
You are just another memory
Just another rose
But alas, the rose is plucked
And laid on a stone.
That's sad. I'm sorry if that's true.
Pain with beauty…powerful, yet gentle!
The shadow behind
The bright and light outside
The clinching and grinding inside
The scratching and the binding
The tears and wears
But left with a happy smile and despairs
(My first attempt at poems)
Beautiful
The silence in my room
Accompanied by sobs that my lungs drew
The night I dreamt of you
Is another slit
That lies on my wrist.
I have not yet
Nor do i plan to forget
The day you made me cry
Tears that have now gone dry.
Most beautiful poem I have read in the comments yet❤👏👍
But seriously, I hope evrythings okay with you❤

very eye opening. i'm a poet but I had hit a dry spell where it seemed I couldn't write anymore. I think I can get back into it
Would i be able to see ur work anywhere? I want to get into poetry.
Edward Dundoned smith I have not posted my work anywhere at this time. But if you would like I can see about posting a few on Google plus or something like that. I would love to share my work with you if you think it will help you get started. Let me know.
+Paul Reason Thank you, Paul.
yep, I have learned to do just that
If you hit a dry spell. write about something happening, when someone brought something in the room, or finding something, related to the after math of an event so it is the end resolve. as your physical response to it as well, or pick a word and see what memory brings to u and write about one part of the experience
Professor Tysdal taught my POETRY 101/INTRODUCTION class. The man was a true gem who really tried his best to bring poetry to life for us. He made class entertaining while still teaching real lessons. I've been blessed with amazing teacher my entire life, but Tysdal is easily a top 5...and I had him in UNI, not high school!
I went to his office hours once for an assignment proposal, and he was so impressed by my idea that he said he would grade the paper himself rather than his T.A...only after being a high school teacher for a few years did I realize that he tricked me. He wasn't impressed by my idea. But he knew that the personalized attention he gave me would make me work harder on the paper, and I did.
Things like that are what make this man a treasure. That, and so, so much more!

thanks for sharing!
I miss him so much, I want to cry,
I want to scream, want to hide.
But can’t express how I feel inside,
So instead I lay, wanting to die...
Incredible!!! Carry on
That was good!
Um that was a good poem but are you ok? who hurt you?
Trauma:
My tangerine sneakers,
never having touched the soiled concrete,
as fresh as perfectly ripened fruit,
are bruised and spoiled
by sour memories that grow tainted
with confrontation;
when my sweet joy was
peeled away, leaving behind
a soft mass of fearful, rotting pulp.
ooh I really like this, the continual use of fruit related imagery. The poem really shows how a traumatic event can taint something that used to feel untouched and new.
Gorgeous, vivid, underrated.. reminds me of halseys poetry, who also uses fruit imagery.
Love this, an idea tied from beginning to end
"just write, and let your imaginations move freely"
This is my first poem, I’m 14 and only wrote it the other day- I’m becoming interested in poetry:
Every night I lay in bed,
A storm begins to grow inside my head,
Crashing against the walls of my brain,
My thoughts are the thunder and life is the rain.
The illusion of time decides to pass,
as lightning strikes my world: from the sky to the grass,
starting destructive yet beautiful fires of anger and sadness,
I realise that again I am alone with my mind and its madness.
Every single water droplet becomes heavier,
as I reflect over the terrible day that has come to an end,
I think about the people who have agrivated me and stirred up my hate,
the storm is becoming devastating- suffocating the animals that represent my hope
Is it really worth it?
Why do I bother?
Why do I get up and deal with the pain of life,
When I could stay here,
In a world of my own.
I’m 14 as well, and I just wanted to mention that this poem beautifully portrays a metaphor. Great work! I hope you’re still working on poetry.
now, kiss 😳
How many poems you've written now?

So beautiful! Came across this and made me emotional. Lost my mom 5 days before my 16th birthday and I haven’t grieved her loss very much until reading these. I feel the pain arise again in my throat, it hurts but it’s bitter sweet. I needed this. God bless you.
Poems do not need to rhyme.
Rhyming is a waste of time.
+Candycane Stripes I saw what you did there

For the time one takes to rhyme, must be spent on something more sublime. Like a watching the ships from the dock go by, to rhyme is but a waste of time

Here is my amateur poetry even if this video is years old
You call yourself useless
Not needed in a world like this
you just never really listened
To the people who're glad you exist
You dont know their perspective
Of how you saved their life
That in their room of darkness
You came by and stayed as light
You came to their wasteland
and made flowers grow and bloom
You never really knew
Their world needed someone like you
Simple but so powerful I have chills thanks for this beautiful piece !
I am her Earth
and she is my water
no matter where she goes
even if I can't see her anymore
Even if she vanishes out of thin air
No matter where she goes
She always comes back to me
because she is my water
and I, her Earth
it's decent I guess
I really like this one
Not even decent. At least make it rhyme
@@Kerm88 poems don't have to rhyme
Sucks. Git gud
Also my first attempt of a poem:
Empty:
Without thought
exiled from passion
days spent distraught
living with a life-less fashion
It doesn't burn
I don't know what is real
Life doesnt always take the right turn
It lacks the right feel
The cold seeping through the window sill
Oh the burn in my fingers, do it I cry
Or just take a damn pill,
When people say their okay, its really just a bitter lie.
Great start, Neddyface.
Man that touched my soul with the last line
Very raw but I am open to criticism. As long as it will help. please be kinda I've never done this before.
"So Long Love Song"
Your touch was soft like a light wave on the beach
your blonde hair was as golden as the sunset skyline.
My hand is empty like the desert after a sandstorm
dry, empty, and lonely.
Like a safe with no content my hand is bare.
The warmth of your touch brought chills down my body
a soft fire during winter bringing me comfort.
Now cold to the touch bringing feelings of pain and sorrow.
The haunting image of my tears on your shoulder brings salty streams down my cheek.
Our last hug, our last kiss, our last goodbye, frozen in time.
The lasting memories leaving a feeling of longing inside.
Nice work, Carlo.
how many times do you have to rehearse
all of your crimes and crying verse?

that last line!! aah
This is what I wrote as he spoke and guided:
Cold winters return, took my breath away
Where that laughter once held me anchored
Despite knowing the truth I fought to stay
Just so I know you loved my scent everyday
Now everytime I taste your favourite ice-cream
Bittersweet tears roll down my face
Your touched me like my favourite blanket on a rainy night
I miss your shiny honey eyes, vibrant and bright
Like the star of hope I hold in my heart
I wish you return to me like a comet you are
When the darkness falls
And I’m just here
Alone
The thoughts keep me up
I miss the warmth of the sun
Your presence
I’m not sure if I like you
Or your existence

Leap onto me with all you’ve got
Don’t make me wait for tomorrow
Find me a cage to shed my anger
To lose my insanity
And make the wolves look for me
In this foreign society
Where everybody loses their mind
Go flee and run
Throughout the jungle of worry
Grasp my soul so tightly
Where your hands grip and slide
With a burn echoing through skin and bones
Hold in your envy and spite
Until the currents wave back
And crash by the ocean base
During the glistening night of stars
Cheers to the hollow moon
Witness of war and heroism
Once present every night
During the wrong and the right
The pink and green blanket you knitted
Reminds me of the flowers of spring that you loved so much
Taylor Ball this is my favorite in the commentd
you said you love me
with your red, full lips
you said you were here to stay
you were never going to quit
you held me as the sun arose

now i’m here all alone
as the minutes tick away
you told me that you love me
but it doesnt feel that way

Comment section
filled with best poem i have read.
First time i didnt curse myself after pausing video to read comments.
Poetry has kept me sober. It continues to be the healthiest form to deal with overwhelming emotions. This applies to both reading and writing poetry.
Just wrote a poetry after getting motivated this was my first attempt though I read a lot of em :
My vision slightly distorted, I stumbled upon a giant rock,
A chance encounter, fate's surprise, our worlds began to unlock.
In your presence, a world anew, colors vivid, hearts would race,
A fleeting glance, a soft smile, my heart found its special place.
Blinded by love's radiant light, I danced on air, so free,
In the embrace of your laughter, I thought we were meant to be.
But love's path is unpredictable, a journey with no guide,
As swiftly as it blossomed, it faded, leaving me far and wide.
Now I'm lost in the shadows, my heart weighed down with sorrow,
Regretting the day our paths converged, and I wished for no tomorrow.
For love can be a fickle friend, a dream that turns to dust,
Leaving behind a trail of tears, and in its wake, mistrust.
But let me learn from this lesson, as my heart begins to heal,
To find the strength within myself, to mend what time can seal.
Though love may come with heartbreak, it also brings us grace,
For in the depths of our despair, we find a wiser place.
Very impressive brother that is a good poem keep it up❤
this video inspired me to write a poem on ISIS:
when you are alone
and silence is in the room
from far into your heart
terror whispers your doom
+Sasapesso S thus, everybody can be ISIS for their obsession
Great work, Sasapesso.
Sasapesso S if you took away the part sayig its about ISIS thats actually p good tbh
Havasa yep lol 😂
I wasn’t supposed to be here
It all feels so surreal
Beating hearts that's all I hear
I wonder if I'll ever get out of here
A door once opened but now closed
Just like our hearts they stay unknown
Consume my illness but not my soul
Don't be afraid just come close
Darling I know anxiety it takes control
But I promise you I won't let go
Hold on tight and stay up close
Promise me you'll never leave me alone

Wow such eloquent words Tala
This touched me :(((
His conclusion caught me off guard with how emotionally powerful it was. I realised I can recapture a little piece of my grandmothers treasured time with her family.
Thank you for sharing that. Great work.
Here's mine :
Him sitting on his chair
In silence, with no despair
Taking baked bananas to eat
Together with a cup tea
Chewing his food tenderly and slowly
With no stress in his mind
aww this paints such a sweet image
I can literally imagine somebody's dad. How cute.
i want to write a poem but I have never been in love, I have never suffered a terrible life. I have food on my table and a roof over my head. what can I write about?
Write about normal daily experiences. There'll always be people who can relate to it.
I agree with Vikraman 10. You can write more meditative, philosophical works on your everyday experience.
Thats even worse. Write about that.
You can write about gratitude then :)
Rounak Bhamra ahaha😂 but update: i have had my first crush. im going to write about that
His smile
Warming even the moon
Smiling to show his affection
Warming himself and us
Not even crying when we all were
He embodied control self control
Not blinking twice to smile
But when it was time for us to cry he couldn’t blink
You are the reason
You are the reason I can't sleep
A restless dance with mind body and soul
A trophy-less goal
You are the reason I can't sleep.
You are the reason I breath
They way you move
A beauty you do not have to prove
You are the reason I can't sleep
You are the reason I still believe
A love so full god himself could not smother
A reason to live, or why bother?
You are the reason I will bleed.
Great, this is one I made that might fit the you're the reason:
You're the worst of traitors
Since you came by my side
You came up like a friend
But now you torture me at night
You're made me forget everything
Or skip anything I used to do
also I still cut me up
And you're the reason for that too
I now never accept invites
Because I lost the trust in people
They just always backstab me
So my heart became a hole
I've had enough I'm not a fighter
So for now I'll say goodbye
I've lost my love and interests
Now I only want to die
Beautiful and cleverly written, great job!
🙌🏽
My first proper poem I've written, age 16.
(intended to be read/sang like a lullaby)
She’s been heading for the sky
He’ll blatantly just keep her down
Upon the clouds she will fly
He’ll chase her dream but fall and drown
She easily saw past his eyes
He failed to see, became a clown
But when the time came for goodbyes
Expressed emotion without sound
Such catharsis he would find
Contained entirely on the ground
Forced apart by waking eyes
He wished they never opened now
Her words were betrayed by her eyes
And the scratches he had found
Although he’s glad to see her fly
My fantasy you stayed around.
Reading that sounded really smooth, great poem! I like how you create the bittersweet lullaby effect with your poem, keep going!
Thank you Daniel for giving me the inspiration I needed. Because of you - I had a real go at constructing a personal poem based on my experiences/observations. I now believe I'm writing a poetry book that will be released in the near future. I hope to make the New York Times bestsellers list. 🙂😬🤞🏽🎉
This is so inspirational! Here is my poem, after his prompts
Not one second shall pass through the day
According to the natural way,
Tired and lonely an aged willow weeps
Under the gray sky the soul is weak,
Running from shadows the animal stumbles
A soft hum of a creek so shallow,
Loud with silence and rich with sorrow
In the woods a sad wail of a sparrow
Sharp the crimson colors of fall remain,
May they ever see their struggle’s fade?
This is my first poem I wrote for my creative writing class in high school... I don’t think I’m very good at it 😅
One of my favourites here :))) I hope you still write poetry!
Immaculate bro, I wish I could write like this!
My little sister always cries
When she finds out our daddy's little lies
He says "I'm sorry" and "it's ok"
But again and again he fades away
The disappointment in her eyes
The lack of readiness towered by surprise
I wish to wipe away these feelings from her mind
She doesn't know he all but loves
That our mothers stories aren't made up
And when she does it will ubrupt
This maturity and this nothing less gain
And she'll wonder why she wailed with pain
Over a man she simply entertained
Over a man who was never there
Over a man that always vanished
Through
Thin
Air
Your teaching has set fire in me..... My passion for poetry has waxed up ... God bless you 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
To walk on water you may choose. Whether the currents carry its not up to you. But when you choose to walk on water, you either swim or drown when the currents pull you under
One of the most beautiful poems I have yet read
I started writing poetry a few years ago, but fell out of it for a time. I'm trying to write some more now, whenever I get an idea. Here's a new one that I'm proud of:
Roses are red
Sprouting another head in spring's flower bed
Looking up at the sky
A clear blue
Watch birds fly away like they fear you
Spot a grazing herd and stop to watch the deer chew
All in memories made as this time's career flew
It's been a whole year too
That I now peer through with the lens of a rear-view
Twenty-twenty, pure hue
See them all but hear few
Wish I could still hear you
In a memory that appears new
But all I have is this season's grass
Coated in my tear's dew
this is a really old video but i've been getting into writing poetry recently! i decided to follow his lil lesson hehe, and here's what i came up with:
title: You Left Me in the Winter
Picturing your face is becoming difficult,
the memory of you is sun softened snow.

Lost my dad a few months ago. Been playing the guitar more and learning some songs he liked and used to play. He liked Mr. Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan, so while learning this song and the lyrics, I got to experience the poetry of Dylan's lyrics which has inspired me to write better. Here's the poem I created while watching this talk, recalling a memory of my dad playing guitar quietly in the morning so as not to wake me up.
Sonrise
Soft strumming in the summers morning.
Like a roosters scream but silenced and somber.
No sleeping eyes can stay so still.
Succumb to the sequence of the subdued sounds.
Song only to the sun, and his slumbering son.
May his soul rest in peace.
More power to you my brother
He is there for you always in your heart.
Good alliteration
Calls deadened by the distance.
Sequestered by the bustling busy bodies.
Waterfalls of audio burst into a steady stream of tranquillity.
Calm, yet turbulent.
im a beginner..i havnt written anything before so this is what i came up with....there is no specific topic for this but temme what you guys think...
"Sacrifices she made
Mistakes she forgave
Your love was all she wanted
But you were just too bonded
She left her passions she left her dreams
Just to see how your eyes gleam
She stayed by your side, alone you never cried
Her love was too much her love was too wide
She was a fool, she trusted you
A big mistake that was she never knew
She bore the pain she took the blame
But you were just never the same".
Great start, Najeeba. Keep at it.
Very good start!
All first attempts are said to be autobiographical...and confessional. Of more importance than telling us is: have you told her?
Keep goiy Najeeba
This is amazing! made me tear up, thank you so much for sharing
I have been feeling very low recently, your words and advice have saved me from the depths of despair. Thank you.
for the first time
in a long time
i felt happy.
laughter echoed against empty fields
only the four of us there to hear it.
pure utter happiness revealed itself to me
as i saw my friends dance,
and look up at the stars,
and roll down hills.
we all fell into a pile
and watched the sunset,
exhausted and inspired at the same time.
- "the sky was dark but our minds were not"
my attempt at a villanelle:
my love is playing dead
she thinks she's fooling me
but I'll fool her instead
she lays there still in bed
she wants to have me scream
my love is playing dead
upon her lips no red
I almost did believe
but I'll fool her instead
I kissed her on her head
and tasted chilly dreams
my love is playing dead
some worry she had bred
no smile I did see
but I'll fool her instead
she thinks she's fooling me
she wants to have me scream
she's only playing dead
oh god please let that be
Well done, Ethan.
Aww man. This hits home.

Wonderful piece, I especially loved the lines "I kissed her on her head/and tasted chilly dreams"
DAMN
The elegant fragrance of your favored perfume lingers, slowly fading
I am reminded of our bond that started too late by your ring on my finger.
The poetry is a great weapon .... Sir, You are really someone who helps the little poets living around world
Thank you for making this video!
It has been a dream of mine to write a real poem.
You helped me so!
My condolences for your lost!
I’m 14 and have always liked to write, and since ppl are putting poems they wrote I thought I’d drop this here :D
I wish people could see me how I see me.
Outside I’m loud, quiet sometimes, unremarkable.
But I find, if pulled back,
I am much greater than my persona.
I am forced behind a great wall, hidden from view.
Those who poke or prod climb it.
Peel back the bricks of seeming content and coolness.
And you’ll see the pain, my kingdom, my Atlantis of beauty.
My tears carving ponds and oceans with each drop.
My laughter causing flowers to fill meadows.
A palace built by one’s concern and pure emotion, it shall never fall.
For this place is raw, purposeful and sweet.
Every color a brushstroke, every bud a new interest.
Those outside don’t realize how much they mock.
For this land is beautiful, ever changing and moving.
Its impurities sculpted into statues molded gracefully.
Pillars, an acropolis of thought.
Simplicity cherished, love nourished.
If people visited this home of mine, they’d see just how precious it is.
Ever changing and moving.
this is my first poem, i really tried
Your presence was candy to a child
Indulging in love was nothing but sweet
How my heart was drawn in
Yet beat faster in your absence
Obsession became a friend
And distrust became a habit
My eyes could never meet yours
My words could never reach you
The mirror spoke to me with the image of you staring
Thinking of every picture led closer to the glass shattering
Inevitability took refuge in my thoughts
And went away along with you
Immaculate mate
Really awesome
It tears you apart from the inside out
you feel it in your heart ripping
Just a sad poem i wrote earlier:
And I'll bet you've had bad dreams,
Or maybe youve been fine.
But while you sleep my heart and break has been working over-time.
I just don't. Know. What. To. Do.
I can only tell you- but what?
When you're just so covered in this blanket of mistrust.
I love you.
I love you.
And i hope I've not lost.
your laugh like spring blissing with the autumn
captivating my soul as a time-worn whisper being told
People who write poems have more sensitive feelings and I guess, compassion.
As I stood afar from the scene
to hear my loved ones and your cries
before they closed the window screen
In futility, I screamed my last goodbye
yet to this time
I cannot decide what i miss the most
the softness of your touch as it stroked mine
or the musty scent of your cologne
y must u make me cry 😭💔 but that was actually a very good poem. I'm inspired 🥺
@@amall.1655 awww thank you very much!
This video teaches us-
Why poetry mends our mind;
The moments that you spend weaving rhythm
Are enough to bring back your lost life.
I truly loved this video♥️
Accurate
Give this guy a public series to teach poetry & writing. Because writing, just like poetry, saves lives. Thank u for sharing.
I love this, this is as valuable as a class or a workshop.
+Elizabeth Mudenyo Thank you, Elizabeth.
Wow that was absolutely brilliant! I could listen to Daniel talk forever; what a fantastic teacher and catalyst 😊😊
Here is a small poem from me.
Each day goes on and on, the wind thrives. Remember when we spend nights together, blessed times.
I had writers block for days and couldn't get anything out. Thank you Daniel, I took notes and can already feel my creative juices flowing
Your thoughts welcomed me once again
Then I looked for you in all faces again
Your presence lacks and my heart cracks
But the love remains intact
I never knew emotions were too fragile
Until one day I saw a teary pile
I climbed up the hill again just to see you in a chaotic maze
I felt dizzy too as there was a haze
But I am not complaining just observing my growth
As invisioning a future without you is becoming a reality
I know, I just know it hurts and the heart breaks
But to heal this is what it takes
I REMEMBER LESS EACH DAY, FOR WHAT YOU TAKE ABOUT. I START CRYING
My first ever poem that I wrote for my school magazine. Lol I was 15
The modern Sisyphus
The race of human being
In the pursuit to make ends meet
Man is like a sheep in a flock;
His time on earth is insignificant unless it's tied on the clock
For this is what the world thinks;
A notion terribly entrenched
The hunger for money
And the thirst for significance cannot be quenched
i love this, thank you so much for sharing!!
His voice was deep like the ocean
His touch was as soft and gentle as a mother’s touch
Oh my God. Why. Am. I crying like this?. His words teared me up a bunch of times. Wow. Wow. I just wow.
My body injuries do I control anything
My movement my breath my speech
You took all my beliefs
Walking through darkness lead by something
I thought poetry was all about honesty
What is this words singing?
Higher power to mind words bringing
Emasculating horribly moral lifechanging after all
You just tore all my beliefs apart
Samson after the fall
She looked happier in her coffin
I think I gave her
The Covid that killed her...
How do I live with myself, you still delight in me
How can you do this?
So much purity love such a horrid creature?
your grinning smile
When i look at you
Is like a marigold
that requires warmth
No matter how much warmth it seeks
It will always grow in midwinter's bleak!
a splendid talk. as with literature, poetry suffers because of the air of superiority associated with it, the idea that only a handful of people (all dead, of course) can make good poems, the 'exclusivity' of it -- but all poems are made simply of letters, and of feelings, and of expression. a hat tip to Daniel for breaking down the oft-opaque walls of poetry
You make my blue days green every time you sing. I am happy now I can fly with my wings.
(This is my first time writing poetry. Idk how to at all so I hope this even counts--)
People surround me
Hearts full of love
Smiles full of harmony
I sit here, turning my head to them
The misery cannot spread
The void cannot grow
If I stay here forever I will be the only one to know
If I reach for the stars
If I open up to love
“Will it ever reach them?”
Is a thought to rest
When I fall below the stars
When I reach the ground when I was already so high
“Running away”
Is what they say
What do I run from?
What is there to run from?
Questions silenced
Sirens louder
I lay here alone
The floor so cold
The heart I hold
It all leaves me as I fall below the ground
Covered in a warm embrace of death itself
Then I realise before my eyes shut
“This was my home”
The end.
No one thinks about me
As I am alone
No one trust me
As I was not wrong
No one thinks that
I was not mistaken
No one thinks that
As what I have taken
No one thinks that
What type of problems I have face
No one thinks that
What I was felling during this case ...
No one trust me
When I screamed through my heart
No one with me
When I was crying through my heart
As yesterday I was alone
As today I am alone
Seriously now I didn't want anyone ......
I want be alone
Amazed to see how everyone
finds a way to comment section,
To discover their true reflection.
Soul searching for a connection.
Born in new body after resurrection.
Words tie us close
They tear us apart.
Thats why we write prose
And fill words into our cart.
Cause they find way to our heart.
If you like this poem
It wont cost a cent.
Now i will vent.
Now this is the end.
😊❤
thankyou so so much for this, I wrote a rather meaningful poem about someone I lost after watching this video...I'm not sharing it since its very personal but I still felt the need to thank you for this video, it really helped me grieve.
This is what I just wrote after watching this:
A butterfly came close to me
For how I wish I couldn't see,
Those cruel numb beings
That always wore mask to flee.
*Just wanna share Thanks for my new thoughts it really helps how do I should write ❤️
For my great grandma:
Your Music
The timid touch of your keyboard keys
Like a dove in a snowstorm that cannot sing
Beautiful

You’re touch was slow and gentle
Like the death of autumn leaves
Leaving
Beautifully
I remember the last day I saw you
You were old and fragile
You came to my game
You were proud of me
The next week you passed
I was torn apart
I did not cry
It was a week later
You passed my mind
My eyes drenched like the ocean
My mind only saw your face
