Coupon must be a regional thing, I've lived here all my life and have only heard queue-pon in media, here we just say it coo-pon.
I can't stand watching live television any longer. I have been watching old shows on Amazon Prime and they are over 50 minutes for an hour show, in the 1980s; meaning less than 10 minutes of ads. Now hour-long television shows are about 41 minutes...ad time has almost doubled!
100% agreed on Oprah. She spouts about how to raise kids (she doesn't have any), she spouts about how to lose weight (she can't manage her own)...
Why do we have go there on weight? Sigh...

When the U.S. was formed, British Imperial measurements had different volumetric measurement standards for solids and liquids. Now they use one and we use the other. 🤣

First of all not offended in the least its a pretty accurate list. I always wondered how others thought about our flag being everywhere and on everything🤔. Growing up in the '80s the British flag was on everything that was cool and frankly I grew tired of it(although I had one on my bedroom wall🙄). Great video Diane!

I completely agree with you about how annoying adverts can be, one of many things I find irritating is that on certain channels you have adverts that start as the TV programmes opening credits finish, this is made more infuriating when the first advert that they show is for the very program this advert is interrupting.

Our measurement units come from the English. That's why it's called Imperial. Point your blame toward your east.
The US does not use imperial units. Our units have the same names as imperial units, but often the values are different. And the imperial system was not invented until 1825, by which time we had been independent for 50 years.

I agree with some of your list, even though I'm an American. The cheese thing, well, it's American "cheese product". And I say coupon the way you do. Parts of our country just add sounds and occasionally, letters to words. My mother in law says waRsh instead of wash. People say nucular for some reason. Bugs me to no end.

Agree about the TV adverts. I once timed the commercial break during a show and it lasted 7 minutes and they played the same 3 commercials twice during it. Also agree about the pronunciation of "coupon". It spreads because the people who mispronounce it will be the first to correct you when you pronounce it correctly and do so adamantly.
