    Assembly on this Camp Chef Pizza Oven 14 inch is very simple. Attach the thermometer using the the supplied hardware. The only other step is to insert and secure the pizza stone... two brackets and 4 screws later and we are ready to ROCK!
    In this video I didn't focus on the ingredients used, as this video is to showcase this outdoor pizza oven and what its capable of! But I will say that this margharita pizza was awesome!
    Dough was a little thicker than it should've been... and I need to work on my pizza peel skills, but the pizza was honestly AWESOME! It was cooked evenly and to perfection!
    If you have the Camp Chef Sidekick, you need to get yourself this awesome gas fired pizza oven! And if you have the sidekick and the accessories then you should look into the Camp Chef Pro 60x, so that you can take these attachments any where!
    Thanks again for watching! Be sure to subscribe, like the video, and write a comment!

      Congrats Chris! You’re going to love it! I also have the deluxe bbq box which I have a video planned so be sure to check back for that. The nice thing about the sidekick is that just the griddle alone it’s sweet, and you can take your time to collect all of the accessories! The only one that I’m missing is the cutting board which I’ll have to get soon!

    Hi Thank you for your review. Do you know how this Camp Chef Gas Pizza oven compares to the Masterbuilt Gravity Pizza oven? I have both devices and is reviewing whether or not one pizza oven attachment has an advantage over the other. If they are the same, I think going with the Camp Chef Gas might be more convenient to operate? Thank you for any feedback.

    Thanks for the all done video. I'm very interested in the Woodwind 24 Pro. However, the space designed for our previous grill will not allow for the sidekick to be mounted. I have plenty of space when the grill is rolled out. Is sidekick easily installed and removed so I could put it on when wheeled out and take it off when wheeled back? Thanks again.

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      I purge the gas for about 8-10 seconds before striking the igniter. I’ve also seen where people adjust the gap on the igniter to achieve a better spark. You’re able to make it “click” right?

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      It had to adjust the burner a little to get it right so it may have been 12min or so until I got it where I needed.

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      It honestly gets up to temp pretty quickly.... it’s just a matter of dialing the gas in to reach your desired temperature

  • @GetOutSmore
    @GetOutSmore Před 3 lety +1

    Neapolitan style pizza needs 850-950 degrees. Will it get to that temp?

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      This oven is not intended to get that hot, so it would not be ideal for those pizzas.

    • @snakeclaw
      @snakeclaw Před rokem

      Yes, I own this oven and it gets that hot. Not sure why this guy says it won't. Of course you need a serious btu burner below. I have two 30k btu burners below mine. Easily gets to 900 but I typically cook between 700 and 800. Any more it burns. Any less it doesn't cook right

  • @spencehutchinson1904

    Looking fur an oven to buy. U said 500 degrees ? The other ones I’m looking at are in the 900 plus degrees. My I’ve. In my house gets 500 so I’m a little confused. I have three different camp chef products and Luce em but this looks slow? The others are 60-90 seconds. Any input or persuasion?

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 2 lety

      At 500 you get more even results. I have an Ooni that gets upwards of 900 and it’s great, but it’s very easy to burn your pizza

    Is there any fire within the chamber with the pizza or is it just like a concentrated oven?

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      Nah the fire is from the burner on the sidekick. There is a vented diffuser plate on the bottom of the oven that evens out the heat and concentrates it in the oven. Thanks for watching!

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 2 lety

      Well my Ooni is strictly a pellet pizza oven…. The gas is way easier to control temperature. I do like my Ooni, but if you’ve got a sidekick it’s much easier to just add this to it

    That's not hot enough for a pizza oven. Might as well throw a stone on the grill if it's only that hot. The Green Mountain Grills pizza insert for instance goes over 800 degrees and may get some wood smoke flavor. I know this is just an unboxing but pizza enthusiast would not be happy with this.. Casual pizza maker might be but then what's the point when the main grill would be just as hot.

    • @AndersonsSmokeShow
      @AndersonsSmokeShow  Před 3 lety

      A pizza enthusiast would probably go for another product... likely a wood burning oven. This is a cool accessory that adds a different dynamic to the grill and their 14 inch systems. I have used a pizza stone on my pellet grill and it works pretty well too!
