That's so cool!! What's funny is I grew up less than a couple of hours' drive from the Universal Studios in California and lived there for 18 years, but I never went there!

Sinichi, Universal Studios there is a magical place! I hope I don't get into trouble with Disney for saying that, but it's the truth! Was that actual snow on the roofs of the Harry Potter buildings? It was the perfect touch for the season. The chocolate layer cake alone is worth the trip to Japan! Thanks for sharing the fun!

I noticed that stores started to have Christmas decorations out at the end of August XD so seeing all the Christmas stuff in this video reminds me of how right after Halloween it will be Christmas everywhere XD

There are a few channels like yours (experiencing Japan) but you guys always show both the western and eastern views/history of the subject. I like the recipe videos very much and have already tried the Coconut candy one. The history of the area and cuisine is a great addition...I never knew Hiroshima was famous for oysters....or that there was a 'Little Brazil' in Japan....

Hello! I would definitely wana try that butterbeer! Could I consult u guys? Where will u recommend for a 10 day tour in japan that would include 3 cities? Tokyo and Kyoto is a definite. Have already been to osaka. Where else will u guys recommend???
+Jia Ling Goh Nara is a great place to go for some amazing temples and wild deer roaming around. Lots of shops in old shophouses. Yamagata is a beautiful place although it's up north. But they have amazing cuisine that's quite different from other places in Japan and have lovely onsens. For 10 days though, I'd really recommend Tokyo, kyoto and perhaps Nara or Yokohama so you don't have to travel too far off. Hope this helps.
So amazing i love that Park Universal Studios....so sad we dont have it here in Germany :-( ...and that Candy Shop so nice you really have the feeling to be on a Harry Potter World ..i really love it ,i love Theme Parks in general anyways ..So much fun Watching you ...

+Tita T S how exciting! My first advice would be to make sure to go early. Once you do make sure to get an Express Pass booklet with admission to Harry Potter. It will save a lot of time waiting in line and you're guaranteed access to that area as well especially since the Christmas season is a busy one. Have fun!

The Harry Potter Experience is opening here in the Hollywood park later in 2016. I'm sooooo eager for it to open, but my husband is very sad. They tore down the Gibson Amphitheater to make room for Harry Potter, and he really loved that concert venue. He says he'll go to see the park, but he'll wear a black armband and be in mourning, LOL.
USJ looks so beautiful, and quite different from USH. The stores are outside the park itself, and inside the park there were just sort of snack stands and a few candy shops, no restaurants. Maybe when Harry Potter opens that will change! I'll let you know!
+bcgrote aww your husband is cute! haha. I'm sure he will love the new Harry Potter area though. It took this Japanese park from a good one to an amazing one. The Japanese park has so many restaurants and stores inside the park it's difficult to choose! When Harry Potter opens though, the stores have to be there Im sure. When it does open though, you'll be sure that we will be there soon after! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!
I miss this park so much! haha must be cold over there though seeing everyone in thick jackets. Last time I went there half the park was closed for construction so didn't get to see much like what you visited.
+Botosan ジャスティン Oh it was! But then now it's quite warm for some reason. So it was colder a few weeks ago compared to now, which should actually be colder. Oh well, I don&t really like the cold so it's ok. I hope you can visit again! Next year the new Jurassic Park coaster will be open!

Even if I have been several times in Osaka I have never been to USJ! On the last day in Japan (leaving from Kansai Airport) I go to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan... Why? There is no seashore in Switzerland....
