The Kamba tribe of Kenya suffered the Arab slave trade ,were captured from the villages ,chained then trekked all the way to Mombasa port where they were put on dhows to Oman without trace.
We were told that happened in the18- 19th centuries.

The Affican slaves in the Arabia became later , after Islam, known as the A'araab. They worked to follow camels , then workedd in plundering people in the desert,. So eventually they acquired many camels from plundering. As a result of too many Afficans ( A'araab), intermarriages occurred in the last century, eventually, the Arabian Peninsula turnred into the A'araab Peninsula.

Another fallacy: merchants were not interested in converting people to Islam as Islam proclaims the egality of all within mankind. It is the Muslim scholars, Mullahs who came to spread Islam, not merchants. A token of this was the presence among them of descendants of the Holly family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Nowadays, you will find Black Africains from among the family of Prophet (PBUH).
