Can I do this with a 2014?
Hey Brian what do I do if I updated my sync system To v 3.4 from 2.2 with the ford website and then the screen is black after updating? When I open the door the ford logo pops up, but the screen is still black. All the buttons still work and I can still listen to music, just black screen.

@@NaviUpgrade yeah I saw the post in ST/RS alliance about the charger. You have a bunch of cool shit on here. I didn’t even think changing the sync background to a custom image was an option.

The "display" button of the Euro facia is fantastic for quickly accessing the calm screen functionality (on later firmware / software), as well. I also MUCH prefer the look, without the seemingly out of place piano black plastic.
Are you selling Euro bezels yet? What about the Euro lower shifter / HVAC bezel without the "SYNC" branding, which is made redundant with the (SYNC branding replacing the Sony branding on the) Euro stereo facia?
Agree wholeheartedly with all of the above! Unfortunately I haven't found a good/reliable source for either of those pieces. Best for those interested to find a good quality piece on EU based eBay sites!
When I upgraded from SYNC/MFT to SYNC3 on my 2013 FoST (Using Brian's conversion harness BTW!), I went to the trouble of also removing the adhesive SYNC/Microsoft badge on the shifter console and replaced it with a SYNC badge taken from a Ford Fusion bezel. Pic of how that looks is available if interested!

Too bad this can't be done on pre-facelift NA Focus models (the bottom mounting is different on pre-facelift cars = Euro MK3), and as far as I know, there was no 8 Inch screen/control panel option on Eu MK3 ??

Unfortunately this can't be done on the prefacelift (12-14 Mark 3) cars 😢
