Today, I take some time to talk about Yokai Watch, one of my favorite childhood 3DS games. In my opinion, this game deserves way more recognition and love (and hopefully an English port on Switch)

Yokai Watch needs a comeback! My wife and kids LOVE the series and would be amazing to get more English releases. Hell, the fact that the manga is still being released in English blows my mind. Give us Yokai Watch 4 damn it!
I do find if a genuine shame for both the game designers working at Level 5 as well as the original voice actors for the games/show especially whisper’s voice actor Joey D'Auria. D'Auria is such a great, seasoned voice actor who genuinely cared about his role as whisper, and, if I’m not mistaken, was the first one to officially announce to the public that the main actors had been recast due to budget cuts and downsizing, it was truly heartbreaking to hear that news all those years ago from someone who gave such a gem of a performance. It was devastating (and a tad irritating) during the time where Level 5 put all of their efforts into pushing this franchise and it just outright failing in western markets; seeing it slowly crumble from the inside as funds were slashed and the care and effort for the projects only rose
It actually did well in Europe it just failed in north America
Dude this was one of my favorite 3DS games as well. I absolutely hated the final boss tho. That thing was actually hard for me back in 5th grade.

@@Discord2319 how often did he change his eye color? If I remember correct it's red is elemental attacks only will hurt him and blue physical attacks only so decent team for him but he is a struggle for anyone

Level 5 (Company that makes YKW) has started to open back up to Western markets, hell, they had 3 announcements in the last nintendo direct.
As long as the anime gets a 2nd chance at a “proper English dub:
The modding scene is very active right now! We have randomizers, translations (also for YKW4) and Yo-Kaizo Watch 2.
I'm glad people are still keeping it alive this way

Yo kai watch 1 & 2 were my child hood I also wanted the third but sadly never got it, and I would always be watching AbdallahSmash tips and trick to get better, find secrets and get secret yo-kai’s. I would really love to see more of Yo-Kai-Watch

Yep, was pretty fun, managing your party was simple but party composition had a lot of depth. The newest game was utterly different and I’dike to play it based off the gameplay. Good art, good music, fun collecting mechanics.

Yo-kai Watch is my Favourite 3Ds game, I've got more playtime on the first one than on any other plattform!
I love Yo Kai Watch so much. I watched the show religiously, watched a bunch of lets plays, collected a bunch of the medals, and have all of the plushies that were released in America. This series needs to make a come back!

The anime didn’t qualify as an anime at all, it tried so hard to be funny but all it did was point at nate for being average and toilet humor.

Genuinely built my entire personality off of yo Kai watch
My dad got me the game for my 3ds several years back and I only played it because I ran out of Pokemon. Little did I realize it was gonna be good and I'd get attached to it. The ending made me cry!
Yokai Watch should definitely make the comeback, with Level 5 keeping their promise for YW4, and the fact that they are making 3 new games to be released outside of Japan.
As long as they do apright outside Japan we may have a chance

You just brought back crazy nostalgia for me. One, Yo-Kai Watch ofc. and secondly the Stickbug Bee Swarm Simulator music. This reminds me of 2018/2019 so much and it makes me happy.

I grew up with the anime and I have to say this series is EXTREMELY underrated! So heck yeah they should bring it back!
I loved this as a kid, including the anime, I still have all of the main series games, and play them to this day for nostalgia. Please bring back Yokai Watch, seriously, a great title and series

Yo kai watch is one of those games that made a change to my child hood I remember last e night sitting there playing my yo Kai watch while either watching the movies or watching abdallah smash play it so when I heard the new yo kai game is on switch I go exited but heard it was only in Japan so o got sad so still love yo kai to this day

Yokai watch was actually a really fun game with some cool mechanics and a pretty nice world. Not to mention the music being really different but great! I really enjoyed playing it as a kid.

My friend and I used to play it every single day we would play it at summer camp and when we would hangout. we still love the game but we played it a lot more back then.
Then when the 2nd game came out I didn’t even know there was one so I immediately bought it when I saw it and called him to good times

In Elementary School, My Best Friend Had Yo-Kai Watch On His 3DS. I Started Getting Into It, And Even Though I Didn’t Have Any Modern Nintendo Consoles At The Time, I Watched The Anime And Really Liked It. For My Birthday, He Gave Me The Watch, And I Loved It. In 5th Grade I Got A 2DS, But Never Did Get Yo-Kai Watch On It. The Same Friend Got Me One Of The Games For My Birthday A Year Or Two Later, But My 2DS Was Broken So He Kept The Cartridge. In Middle School, I Got A 3DS, But It Was Too Late For Me To Get The Cartridge, But I Re-Watched The Anime (The Dog’s Story Arch Is Insane) And I Read The First Three Mangas. Even Though I’ve Never Played Yo-Kai Watch, I Love It. Please, Give Us A Revival.
Yo-kay watch 4 was my Crhistmas gift and I'm really loving it.
If your switch is not patched you can also play it with a mod that translate all the game
