Enfin! Though my French isn't the best I could sing along to the chorus after two times listening. I discovered it in 2003 on a vacation in France. But I never saw the video or the look of the singers til today..it just puts you in a good mood...

Ce clip fait plus années 70 que 80 ,plus disco, de par le style musical que les decors très colorés.
D'ailleurs en ce moment sur youtube (depuis 2-3 ans) un nouveau style années 80 est venu a la mode ,inconnu auparavant des occidentaux ,c'est le City Pop!!!
C'est un ensemble de musiques années 80 venant du japon. plus calme que le F-Pop ou l'équivalent US ou anglais mais qui convient parfaitement à l'ambiance musique pop des années 80.Ecoutez cela en voiture ou dans le train est le must .

Mon souvenir avec cette chanson c'est un voyage en Inde avec mon lycée en 1999. Le petit groupe de français assis sur les marches à l'extérieur du lycée indien en train de chanter cette chanson, le sourire aux lèvres. Un grand moment!

Au début des 90's sortaient des compilations 80's, encore et toujours dans les 2000's, il y avait aussi des émissions TV "spéciales 80's" aussi dans les 90's (ce qui continue toujours de se faire!), pusi en 2007 les premières tournées 80's de RFM, etc... Et qui existent toujours! Arrêtées à cause de la pandémie, mais si vous y regardez bien, ils ont essayé de faire pareil pour les 60's ou 70's, mais ils se sont cassés la gueule! Les 80's, ça fonctionne toujours et ça fait toujours recette! Ce qui prouve bien que cette decennie était la meilleure! Pourquoi dans des clips ou des pubs aujourd'hui, on met des musiques 80's? Dernièrement pour une célèbre marque de glace!Des objets 80's?Plein de couleurs, etc... Même The Weeknd depuis un an 1/2, fait du 80's et c'est numéro 1 mondial! C'est qu'il y a une demande! Regardez même Dereck aime ce qu'on aimait nous enfants, ados ou adultes! Et il y en a beaucoup encore à lui faire découvrir, des "bijoux cachés" comme il l'a dit pour des chanteurs/euses ne pensant pas que cela existait! Faut continuer ainsi! Même pour des titres internationaux. 😉

Do you know, they released a single in 1987 "Mister D'J" under the name of the group YANKEE, but it was a FLOP!
This duo from Marseille (South Of France) is composed of two DJ'S, William Picard the blond and Sacha Goëller the brown who was also the antenna director of a local radio station.
This song composed in 1984 wasn't successful.
It was only 4 years later with some arrangements that it became a huge hit in France during the summer ranking no.1 for 9 weeks with 1'500'000 copies sold! (Platinum Disc).
A big hit like Partenaire Particulier, this song is an anthem to sing and to party, move on the dancefloors! Especially during student parties, weddings. EPIC and ICONIC!
The "follow up" is also good "La Vie La Nuit" (Life At Night) the same year sold at more 500'000 copies and no.2 in Top 50. There is a nod in this song to the previous hit for a few seconds (gimmick).
