I have a 1972 StarCraft Holiday, it’s essentially the same boat. Mine is quite clean but not as clean as this. Beautiful boat, never sell it.

I'm curious, does anyone know what or where I could find a flush kit for the single port water intake for the motor? I just inherited one of these fine water crafts and I would like to get it fixed up.

This boat is a cream puff. Trouble is finding one priced fairly. People think they can get Boston Whaler prices.

I have an outboard version. Totally gutted it. Most people treat boats terrible. This one looks decent.
People often buy older boats like this with money they can’t afford, so they often either spend more money money righting it or realize they are underwater in the checkbook and then try to sell at ridiculous prices trying to regain some self respect.
I looked at one a few years ago that was a nasty mess, had bad wiring and didn’t even run. $3500 and wouldn’t negotiate.
It sat in their yard for at least four years and from what I gather it finished rotting itself to death and someone got it for $500. I would’ve given $500 five years ago before it was rot-totaled but the guy said he had $3500 in it. I don’t know where that money was applied but there’s another example of a stupid owner.
There’s advantages to inboard but I have not the means to rig inboards, and that makes outboards appealing. Also, I used an underfloor fuel tank which opens up floor space by shortening up the splashwell which the inboard motor would never have.
