I’ve started making the mini firewood in my area as well and it seems to be selling fairly well.
Nice comparison Dan. I'm amazed at how popular these tabletop fire pits have become. I reviewed the Warm Bond mini several months ago and a lot of my friends have gotten one. Short off cuts now are in demand!
I only knew of a few brands until I searched on Amazon...they are everywhere so there must be a demand for them.
I love my mesa xl! One of the vets won the mesa and the mini wood Saturday!!👍👍
Nice collection.
Hi Dan Those Mini Table Top fine Stoves Are Awesome ‼️
Awesome review/comparison! I have the warmbond mini, works awesome.
Dan what an Awesome display on the outdoor Fire Pits. I am going to pick one up at Walmarts. Yes they are one of a kind and will definitely keep you Warm and I bet keep the Bugs at Bay. I am Re-Doing my MS-260Pro Saw some new parts and getting ready to do some Cutting of my Logs this Week, not to much all at once just enough, like 3hours every other day or so. Weather Depending. Doing much better but not pushing it my Friend. Missed Friday Night Live as I just felt off and needed some Rest. Be in touch and as always Watch the Ticks, Stay Safe and see you at the next Video. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
This is a cool comparison on them.😉👍
Great video Dan, gotta say the mesa seems to show the reburn effect. Also 2 seemed to have higher flames. I enjoyed the comparison🇺🇸👏🏻
Yep I thought the same that the Solo Mesa XL had the better reburn effect, I think the smaller ones with a smaller diameter did put out a decent flame though.
Good video 👍 I personally don't have one but I can see the allure to them.
My mini tabletop fire pit should be here Monday. But am on the road for work, so gotta wait until next weekend to make my own mini firewood to give it a good run.
We certainly enjoy our table top fire pits! They serve a purpose that is different from the bigger ground style pits.
They definitely do serve a purpose and can really add to the enjoyment of an evening.
What purpose?
Mine caught on fire on the outside and peeled the outside paint off. Flames coming out of the holes. Scared me enough not to get another one 😢
I have the Ozark and they will light a fire and it almost every night and have a couple Frosty’s.😁
Great video
Many people I have talked to with one do the same...like every evening for half hour to an hour will have theirs fired up.
Excellent video on a very popular topic.
I feel you "moved the bar" on firewood with your mini firewood.
I bought the Menards one and it has a little center chimney, no instructions on how to use it. I notice his did not have the removable center. Why ?
Which one is the besy for cooking?
It seems the taller stoves burn a little better. Maybe it's because the reburn air has longer to absorb the heat and making it easier to ignite when it hits the smokey fuel. I can see why they are so popular. Enjoy the journey - cheers
I’m seeing a cute one on Aldi ad for $29.99. So I’m investigating these things. Don’t know if I’m allowed one at a complex but I want one.
Shifty bringing the heat! Good comparison video. Can't wait to see you in your new Caleb Williams Bears jersey. Not too late to hop on the bandwagon. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks! LOL...I don't think you'll be seeing that jersey on me.
Your Ozark is missing the top piece that can hold pots and direct the flame.
I'm still surprised at well these mini tabletop fire pits have caught on. I don't see myself using one, but I can see the attraction if you don't have the space or need for a larger fire pit.
Good comparison though!
Your mini firwood is not seasoned, right?
Only baked to a set temperature for the minimum allowed time?
I season/dry it before the heat treatment.
@@Back40Firewood that was what I wondered
please provide the Links oft he firepits or at least write the complete names of them. I can not find all.
Do these units throw any heat? How much wood comes in the mini wood you sell? I couldn’t find a weight or volume amount on your website.
Oh yes they give off heat, just not in a very large radius. Boxes are 12"x10"x6".
To me, the allure is to watch the wood actually being consumed. With these, you only see the flames out the top. I like seeing the wood disappearing as the fire burns.
Yeah it is a bit of a different/unique experience from a traditional open pit fire.
Thx. 😀 Jaz imam kitajskega.
where is the ring on the Ozark trail.
The ring for that has a built in shelf to hold a pot for cooking....so I left if off for this demonstration.
I bought one off of amazon and was not impressed. But i was burnin pine so maybe i need to try some hardwood.
The Ozark trail seems to be burning pretty good I might have to invest in one of them. Thanks for showing us all how they really burn. By the way how hot do they get on the outside?
The Ozark Trails also comes with a top made to hold a pot and to cook on, I didn't show that in the video. The outside gets pretty hot.
Hi Dan Will you be Making a Table Top Fire Pits Support Table like a Brick Ring to Make it Easier for People to have a Platform to Put Them on I think That would take the Guess Work out of Where to Put Them 👍
There are stands available for a few of the brands...there's a whole bunch of accessories that have been made and more continue coming out.
table top fire pit im looking for huge one to make fires
If you can sell these mini tabletop firepits
You can then sell your mini firewood.
Are these type of pits popular? Seems like a strange thing to me, Im more of a 4' firepit kind of guy
They're crazy popular here in Maine. Both my neighbors have large firepits, and both of them have these tabletop fire pits. I haven't seen them use the full size fire pits in a long time, but they use the tabletop ones multiple nights a week!
@@Dorchwoods interesting, I like the performance of the smokeless style pits but hate that they take away the visual effect a fire has... I love just watching a fire, and the smokeless pits 90% of the flame is covered by steel
They are becoming more and more popular for people who don't have a yard that's big enough or no yard at all for a regular fire pit.
hi there little wood makes little bond fires , not approved for real wood hounds just for amateurs , good show best to all .john
Bigger is not always better...lol...especially when it comes to tabletop fire pits and the wood ya put in them...haha
@@Back40Firewood i am afraid to ask what wood you are putting in them and the real reason you got so many lol back
Not sure why then don't come with some kind of rack so you can put a pan on top for cooking
So do, and there are options and attachments like that out there for them.
Dan,don’t burn 🔥 up all your inventory or little boss man will be getting some overtime that could make your pockets a bit more lighter than you would want 😮😊❤
Hahaha...yeah the good thing is I do have a good supply of off-cuts and pieces that didn't make the final grade for quality to burn up.
If the Little Bossman gets enough work, he might demand a pay raise.
