- This is it. The last UK Trucking Video, I could never have imagined starting a CZcams Channel 8 years ago when I first start driving at 21 straight out of Stobart Boot Camp. Yet alone using this skill to be able to immigrate to the other side of the world to live and drive trucks in America. It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and it is finally coming true...

Almost 50 years ago I used to pick up from a place near to Blackwall tunnel and always got lucky, one time there was another driver there and we got chatting, he had been waiting 3 days for his load.

Harry i have always wanted to drive HGV and after 10 years at a major cereal manufacturer in the park we are going to be made redundant. I now have to opportunity to get my licence and after watching you for a few months my decision is set.

Word te the wise. Photo copy all receipts before posting in return pack if your new company uses that system and understand how chargebacks are done if doing a lot of drop and hooks.

@HarrysTruckingAdventures yep fully expected that. They put you in a company school first.that will show you most things. The test is easy for ye licence. Mainly multi answer questions.
For the extra small expense take ye double and triple licence.
It was just another set of multiple choice questions no extra driving test.
I absolutely loved doing doubles.
Basically trunking work.

Luckily the company I will work for pay a pretty good base salary, so not everything is based on miles. Hopefully through the desert there isn't much to slow me down :-)

I have also done some on the interview process. If you go to the channel and search Green Card they all come up.
It's a LONG process. Took me about 3 years, but honestly go for it. Get in touch with Visa Solutions. They are great.
