I'm a new Zaf player in T8 and I have to admit how difficult she is to use in a technical level. Not only she has low combo damage but her new moves using Azazel's powers uses chip damage to herself. I don't know how they've decided to do it, but it would've been a lot better if it didn't.
2 ways to mitigate it:
-Not use them when out of Heat
-Use them at the beginning of your combo so you get your HP back through it.
They're balanced that way because they're stronger than No Azazel moves :) but I agree it's weird to wrap your head around it in match
Duuude, uve seen anything like these combos. And so many situations! Nit just straight forward footsies combos. Awesome, this helps alot! And thanks for recording the inputs too

Literally the best video for helping me figure out the intended reward for landing some of her attacks. I was just messing around in training mode and couldn’t figure out what the game expected at times. AND I learned some neat oki too! Thanks

More stuff:
Heat Smash is usable from crouch, so it can be used to punish lows.
It also high crushes VERY well.
It's also guaranteed after b2 on hit, for full unscaled damage.

CH SS1+2 gives a free Ws2 tornado juggle :)

Your wall combos can actually get an extra tornado spin for more high wall splat damage. try wall splat df4,2 ... or 1,4 TRT for the extra tornado
Yes! That's why I did Ws2 at the end. If I remember right it's the one that scales the best, but I might be wrong on this ☺️
Are we sharing info bro? Or finding similar tech?That df3,4 set up is something covered over a year ago it works with f4 too where you press 3,into scarecrow then press 1+2. However it can be sidestepped left . You may have to cancel the three to nuetral to do your homing attacks. I certainly had too

Do the combo training in practice mode, then comeback to this once you understand the buttons 😁
