#Tekken8 - Hry
Hey, OVA HYAH! 🥊
We're going to start pumping these out a bit more regularly so we can get down to longer, more detailed guides from March 👊
Brst Thing I heard today. Better than my 95% in probabilities.
Keep it coming guys! Loving these even if I don't play the chars, It's always fun to hear about the rest of the cast
I'm so desperate for the Leroy one. There are NO good guides for T8 Leroy
Lars next plz 🌩
You gonna make this official & they put these in the game
Like it's mad that new gamers like me miss these vid & so glad I find these
need to @ youtubers that are trying Tekken Heck New FGC gamers
Pros:
- good mix
- strong frame data
- high damage
Cons:
- british
literally unplayable
The only bad thing about Steve
Br*t*sh
U mean bri - ish
british dental care
@@Einhelm369I feel like that may be user error
The section about Lion Heart was great! I completely forgot you can just weave option if they block b+1,2 etc.
Update since recent finding:
Lionheart can be canceled into Peakaboo stance by plinking f3~f3+4, effectively canceling lion into a duck into Peakaboo. It's a 1 frame input, but it's consistent on a controller. Meaning:
1) you can now block earlier after Lionheart
2) you have way more options to choose
3) It can beat armor move
RIP to this tech
Man i just love what you do for the tekken community
Little mistake I found, bounty hunter doesn't need a counter hit to combo into vigilante blow
Loving these condensed guides so far though, they get straight to the point, keep up the good work!
I don't understand how you can get in so much information in just 7 minutes. I checked the time several times. Thanks once again
Steve is easily my favorite character so far. They did a great job. A few gripes but over all very well done
It’s like you knew I’ve been learning Steve. This couldn’t have come at a better time for me
Hope you do a full guide like tekken 7 eventually. Easily the best guide for the character and I wouldn’t be nearly as good without it. We need more Guv gang members in the game
Steve main here, here’s somethings you missed arya.
1) all lion heart stance attacks after db3,2 loses to manual heat (2+3) although most people don’t know that its not a true 50/50 yet.
2) ub2 gives guaranteed lion heart 1 on normal hit, not only on counter hit
Is there a movement option after stomp lionheart thatd let him whiff punish the heat attack or no
@@TheCommanderjoe the only thing he can do is duck cancel to block it but then the opponent is +1 with heat
also if you duck cancel you can get punished by i13 mids
so its a weird game of rock paper scissors where steve has more to lose coz he is the one who took the big risk of doing stomp in the first place
Leo took his role as the CH specialist tbh.
And careful new Steve's. All options from Lionheart lose to powercrush, even if Steve hits the opponent. I've found the best way to use LH is to actively ignore it and duck out of it every single time as the risk of death is not worth the guard break or mid options.
Weird design to remove most of his CH utility, his launchers, nerf his only scary low and give him a stance that barely works lol
incredible quick overview as always!!
Amazing overview of what the character can do
Everytime you release one of these i just feel like picking up the character immediately
Really excited for the hwo overview ! Haven’t had the time to test him out yet so it will be really helpful.
Wondering if they will keep Steve Fox as a Heavy Weight for the next Tekken and change his fighting style to suit his new body type.
Maybe he'll appear in Tag 3 like Slim Bob was in Tag 2
Great video information. Nice 4k crisp visuals. Sound is always on point.
I personally really like the Two faced grab variations
they added to his moveset in Heat mode.
So satisfying to use
Thanks!
Very good video, you don't see alot of tutorials that explain that characters Identity and their bread and butter moves especially talking about the strength and weaknesses
Love this guides to start learning matchups!
Hell yeah great video as always so excited when this channel uploads you explain things so well
Just subscribed, loving your content. Will you be making combo guides for Steve as well?
Waiting for my boy king 🙌
Since 4 my all time fav char. thx man for the overview.
2:30 Ducking in Direct (df+3+4)
4:00 Lion Heart
4:30 Outfox (ub+3)
Over here!
Thank you for the video
Amazing like usual
the most primal weapons of a man are his tightly clenched fists 🤛🤜
Great breakdown. I can't wait for the Leroy video, as there are NO good T8 Leroy guides
Omg the goat posted. Your tekken 7 Steve video help me go from somebody who just liked playing Steve to somebody who is good with Steve made it to like Dan 23 or something like that
Your production quality makes me rewatch so many videos again and again. Absolutely love what you're doing.
Slowly waiting on the azucena guide lol just gotta be patient cuz I know it’s gonna be fire
All tickets to duff city at 100% sale bois
Ima need that king guide
the problem with steve is his lionheart stance it's only +7 on db32, b1,2 and heat smash is horrible since you can powercrush through everything
And 19 damage for stance launch punishable move? are you kidding? I'd rather do qcf2 it does 17 and can be used at any time
When you get into lion heart, enemy powercrush can seem like it beats all buttons out of the stance - and your left/right weaves may not evade tracking powercrushes. However in that case, you can do a forward duck, cancel into block, and punish their powercrush
Also in heat, lionheart neutral auto-parries mids if you feel like calling out a powercrush attempt, leading into two-faced
Yeah and if you do that you’re in heavy minus frames right next to the opponent, I’m not sure why I have to be the one getting mixed when I’m the one who connected a death on block low with 0 reach.
Heavily minus? Which power crush moves are you blocking that are leaving you heavily minus?
@@Sporkyz74 I’m referring to the duck cancel, sure it makes it safe but “safe on hit” on a low with 0 range that kills you on block is not a very good joke.
@@sheeneemee Absolutely right about this. It's like they designed all characters to be mixup heavy, and when they were designing Steve, they decided to make a stance that literally feels like a suicide button every time. You never have the advantage when you go into Lionheart, you're the one who has to take a guess, not your opponent.
awesome video as always, please tho i NEED asuka
u make the best overview videos
i swear to god its like you know what characters im learning agh
My boy Steve
Was waiting for this ❤
I'm gonna need a lot of popcorn for the Steve Fox movie next time. It's gonna be a long one! 😂. Amazing work as always!🥊
Hope you do a guide for zafina
Can't wait till you do my boy next. Bryan!
Love that T7 fit for Steve.
Steve has always been my favorite ever since he was introduced in Tekken almost 20 years ago.
Bloody good, can't wait for the Marvelous man eventually
Marvelous. Brilliant. Excellent.
YESSS I'VE BEEN WAITING!!
S Tier videos! Each one makes me want to change main haha
When I finally get this game (in like two years) looks like I’m gonna have to get back to the orange ranks with him again.
Please do a in-depth video for steve like you did for tekken7. That video got me into tekken7_steve and I had great memories of playing with him. In the world of breaking our fingers with wavedashes and electrics , characters like him are great for console players like me.
I’m at Tenryu now and I feel like you can’t get anywhere with Steve at this level… but if you know every match up, can duck every high, punish every unsafe move, break every throw and generally know the whole roster’s moves and tech then I suppose you could win.
That's honestly the best way, and bait mashers
I'm stuck at tenryu with Steve too but breezed too rulers with Feng and about to be law.
Steve has to work to hard
im at flame ruler now, keep it up. Its hard but not impossible. I'm trying to rely less on the LH 50-50 and really try to get your sidesteps good as a lot of "strong" character right now have easily sidesteppable/sway right moves. Also 121 into pkb/flk, never use it enough but it's really really strong
@@kablekable8810 thanks man! Yeah I’ve been watching Shin blade and realized I’m still stuck in my Tekken 7 Steve ways. I need to use wr2 and rocket punch way more and I need to pressure more with df3 and pkb 12 and pkb df12 more.
Another W video, who are you going to do next?
Hwoarang!
As a Steve main, I truly appreciate this video as someone who still wants to master him. Seeing the combos in this video really made me want to be so much better.
I missed you man😭😭😭😭😭😭
Wonderful notification to wake up to
Hey! Just something you forgot to mention, that bounty hunter (ub2) can; unlike his other moves, *NOT* go into Lion Heart, effectively making this a +3 homing high! Also the Lion Heart 1 is a natural combo, not counter hit like you said. It gives +14 of real advantage even on normal hit, so even not in Lionheart, gives you a sonic fang for heat. Neat!
Keep these up, boss!❤
Did not know this, thank you!
5:21 Hawk SCOOP??? 😂
1:00 Steve's neck LMAO
I love this videos so much why did you stop 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Great video❤
Plz jun after huwarang
How do you play as Steve vs Asuka or Leroy?
as always. well articutaled.
Can we get minute combos for Steve?
King next? Please!
I imagine Steve specialists don't have it easy since his launch combo opportunities have been reduced, but I gotta give it to Bamco for sticking to their guns, making their roster in Tekken 8 have more distinct playstyles instead of having everyone be homogenous.
Give my props to the rest of the team for the dope vid Arya 🥊
How do you switch to pikaba so quickly after d2,1?? What is the input?
4:58 this is the kind of things that make me not to study, Arya!!😂
Can we expect Steve Fox: The Movie like you did for Tekken 7? There surely enough content here for another 1+hour guide video.
What are the chances you create another 2 hour video for Steve.
Losing shiro still hurts but man did they flair up my boy
Still watched, but waiting on the Dragunov one 🥲
thank you for the steve video. any idea how to counter lion hart weakness where he forced into the stance and armor moves beats all his options. he can't even weave or cancel out of it.
From what I can gather from Steve mains, the best you can do is avoid the stance at all costs outside of combos.
@@shajita that's so sad
TBS the goat
Still awaiting the Paul guide. I just want to know if American Punch Man is still simple to play lol
The Hwoarang abuse is accurate yet unprovoked.
Please make one for Jun. There isn't a good guide for her not even one. Your videos are really great and I can't wait to see you do a Jun guide.
On opponents who are really on the ball, plus Lionheart isn't really a 50-50. Lionheart 1+2 can be reactable due to the animation and the lack of moves from the stance. Not saying it is useless or anything, but I feel its worth mentioning.
@ThatBlastedSalami
How do you get into peekaboo from D2,1, duck in? Do you just do it manually? Please
I'm doing a crouched df+1 which goes into PKB.
Waiting for mommy Jun Salami 🥸
Steve has much changes now in t8 u have to play more in the neutral stance
Ah this is great PLEASE DO DRAGUNOV NEXT
So sad no shiro :(.... why would they remove that beautiful skill expression?!?
Does anybody know how to do his jumping uppercut ?
I think it's in peekaboo stance up forward 2, the move is called dreadnought uppercut
Steve no longer tournament viable. Alisa stronger than Steve at Steve gameplay. Better launchers. Better combo damage. More evasive and better mix ups. All Steve had was his Ch launchers and they took them away. The lionheart stance barely hits once a month in a skilled setting and leadings to flea bite damage compared to the damage Alisa Kuma King or Paul can dish out in a single combo.
steve is definitely a gimmick character at this point. not enough reward for the work you gotta put in.
I can’t wait until later we’re back and saying Steve is strong when it’s not all about high damage from combos but having quick ch tools for a game that promotes rushing down and pressure, having pressure, 50/50s, great neutral, and guard breaks
Most noticeable change is his face. 🤣
In a game meant to be more "aggressive" and nerfing counter hits, kind of worried Steve would get gutted.
Wonder what Heera's thoughts on T7 vs T8 Steve. Great overview as always!
Shame he's so...British.
Love steve. Hes so strong in tekken 8
I like him to but his defenetly not strong in 8 his actually far weaker.😅
Make video on king
NGL.. T8 steve is harder than T7 steve.
but it still fun.
thanks TBS and Harada san
Honestly, Steve is the best boxing rep I've seen in any FGs. Yeah, SF5 Balrog is brutal. Dudley is very stylish and Ed is like a mix of both. But Steve has so much depth. And he's really a character I've always wanted to learn but he discourages me every time. I would love to get him down.
podcast with dinosaur please
On the cards!
is shiro no more?
Maybe the british aren't so bad...
Nah we're mostly terrible, but appreciated!
where's bryan though ? I need bryan !! X(
Imma hate this match up even more now that magic 4s got deleted and kbd got nerfed. The least namco could do is nerf the tracking on some of his moves.
Steve alsways confused me, as 90% of moves look the same for me. 😅
Keep up the good work!
I think his b1 and gatling gun damage nerf was a bit to much . Hope he gets atleast a liitle bit of love from namco cuz i love this character
It should also be noted that Steve’s hitboxes have been universally made much bigger. This range increase makes it much easier to jab at opponents trying to approach from further away.
