- This step by step tutorial will show you how to crochet easy baby Mary Jane shoes / slippers / booties. These cute baby shoes are a suitable project for beginners.
For size 0 - 3 months use a 4mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 6 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 5mm crochet hook
For my baby shoes I used a 4mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn.

If you are just learning to make booties or shoes you are probably not a very experienced crocheted so I think it's GREAT wooly takes her time and repeats things. Patience is a virtue lol
Omg!!!! I literally just started crocheting. Taught myself via CZcams and have only made a little baby beanie. I tried probably 6 different booties videos before I found this one and it was the only one that didn’t make me want to throw my phone across the room. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for thoroughly explaining everything you were doing and even why. (Explaining the chains counting as a double crochet, etc) I appreciate you repeating what you were found over and over before, during and after each step so I could always be sure I was doing the right thing. Seriously. This helped me so much. I actually made and remade the booties 8 times (lol!) before I was happy with them but thanks to you I am confident as a crocheter now. I can’t thank you enough!!!! 😘
