But but but my puppy is now 7mo and so strong! She is a mutt but has pit/rottie/husky/beagle/lab mix lmao she is 60lbs and feels like pure muscle. I love her to death but she doesn’t realize how strong she is. She is also a jumper, my mom is 72yo and lives with us. I only allow her to go upstairs with me and she is leashed. For my mom she knows not to jump on her, but for me and my kids she doesn’t care.
I just brought my new puppy. The house training with the bathroom is serious sheesh

Just purchased one of your shirts because every time I go out on a walk with my dog who is now well trained I always have at least one person comment and ask me questions. I attribute it to watching your videos at the start of the pandemic. People can come in the door and I can go on walks with confidence that my dog will now behave and knows his boundaries. Imagine having friends over and the dog is on their bed and you ask them if they want to greet the dog and you say "tomato" and he comes running.
I am so grateful for this video. My husband just rescued a husky puppy who’s very intelligent and sweet, and I can tell he’s really loyal but also tends to be arrogant and has a lot of problematic behaviors. And I have never known how to train dogs, I’m horrible at it to be honest. And literally in ONE session I had him responding to the place command (I used “bed”) plus “stay” and “free.” Literally I could cry I’m so proud and excited. Also I used the treat thing with his crate a few times and now he enters his crate with no issues. And all the positive reinforcement means he’s been peeing and pooping in my house outside much more and inside much less. Thank you so much!!!!
Awesome. Not really looking for another dog but it is knowledge that you can't go wrong with at least having in your memory banks.

This is honestly perfect timing we just got our second dog 3 weeks ago and really needed a refresher on my puppy training!
I just got a 4.5 pointer/pit bull mix, and he is already showing phenomenal behaviors, but I have never trained a puppy. I personally trained my American Akita to be my diabetic alert dog, but that was a different breed for me entirely, and he was already over 12 months. I am so excited to get started with his training!
I used to have an Akita/Chow Chow mix....such good dogs! I'm training my 10 wk old pit to be a service dog now....with Tom's help! 😉
I've got a Heeler/Pit mix talk about a land shark! I haven't had a puppy in over 20 years 😂
I consider myself experienced with dogs at this point, but this was amazing! It's been 13 years since I've had a puppy, and Im saving this for the future when I have puppies in the house again 🥰
I have a 5 month old lab mix and the hand feeding at meal time is a game changer! Awesome for working on the training basics and building a great relationship at the same time. Thanks for all the great advice Tom!

That lab pup looks just like my neighbors dog when he was a puppy. That lab is now two and the best friend to our gsd mal mix. Thanks for a great informative video. I love that you show puppy work as well as reactivity and aggression work. It is just as beneficial for dog owners to see and learn from.
I have a now 12 month old German shepherd. He has excellent breeding as a working line dog and is a constant reminder that I have to work on myself everyday just as much as our relationship. You’ve helped me see the magic of bonding with an animal like I’ve never experienced. Mind you I’ve had animals all my life. We’ve had quite a few obstacles with other dogs and his first encounter was an attack on our property. It’s been challenging to say the least to help guide him through his fear and reactivity. Thank you so much for all your videos and encouragement. You’re an awesome, super amazing person and I’ll always push you up and reference you as the one and only coolest dog trainer 😊.

Tip with using their kibble as treats and having them earn it... Let it sit in a little bit of water, just enough to soften it but not make it mush. Found when it's hard it took my pups longer to eat it and when it was soft they ate it right away instead of crunching down for awhile 🤣
Hi Tom! during the pandemic we adopted a small dog from puerto rico. the rescue did not let me know that he was extremely dog reactive on the leash. in my desperate search for how to work this out of him, i stumbled onto your training videos and three years later, although we are not perfect in all situations i'd say we are at a steady 90%! that last 10% is on me! i am eternally grateful to you, Tom! But my comment today is really a request; when you say "off leash on trails" please let your viewers know that most national parks require leashes on all dogs at all times for the safety of wildlife and other users of the park and their dogs. Please check with the parks department about leash laws before you head out on a trail with your dog. and please obey the leash law. thanks!

My dad bought home a puppy to a house full of cats. It's 7 weeks old and now I'm in charge of training the pup. I absolutely have no idea what I'm doing. I want the dog to be happy, obedient and not chase cats when he's older. He's also a pitbull mix.

Really wish more people would crate condition their dogs, even if they don't plan to regularly crate them. Every dog WILL have to go in one at some point (at the groomer, at the vet, traveling, etc). Those senarios can be stressful as it is, no need to add to it and make the experience worse.
I am currently working with my q0 month old miniature healer, aussie mix. When i got him he had been in the crate for the first few months of his life. We are working on healing mostly reactivity. Your videos have helped so much. I would love a 1 on 1 traing for my pup. Thank ypu for all you do to help dogs and people understand their dogs

I just got a month old pitbull/husky mix and I know I’ll need all the training in the world! She so far listens very well and I believe she’s recognizing her name which I’m very proud of! Potty training is definitely the challenge at the moment but doesn’t seem impossible! Any tips would be appreciated on training Mika my pup 🐶
I just got an Aussiedoodle and while I really like how you mentioned to not get frustrated if the training isn’t going smoothly, I’d love to see a video of how to handle when training isn’t going well. My pup loves to follow me around so I find it hard to get him to do anything that involves leaving my side and I’d love to learn how to transition him into the movements
First morning after a just over 7+ week GS..does not like the leash!
I’m cutting slack (no formal hard training obviously) for a week or two, maybe more, pretty young to separate..but he’s a sweetie!

I have a year old Yorkshire terrier and I’m a first time having a dog and makes lots of number 2 in the house.im still learning how to train my dog he’s likes to go outside a lot and sometimes he’s goes to the bathroom and sometimes he does not

I just joined an on-line course that I am not at all happy with. This is what I was looking for to train my new puppy. I wish I would’ve found this video sooner. This is what I remember of training my last dog when he was a puppy many years ago and I had forgotten. Your techniques are spot on with what I’m looking for. My new puppy is only 12 weeks old so all is not lost for me and my puppy. I will look for more puppy videos on your channel. Are there more videos on puppy training on your website?

My roommate and kids ruined my last puppy and their treatment of him regardless of what I kept telling them, caused him to attack my 11 yr old. I had to re-home the smartest dog I've ever had. My ex thought it would be a good idea to buy a purebred black lab puppy and give him to us. Things are going to be much different this time. These videos totally validates and reinforces everything I was telling them before. They are sick of my sending them these videos, they get tired of hearing "I told you so". Thanks for these. I like your videos, I have a puppy dog suddenly last week. I don't know how old he is but the puppy on this video he is about this age based on looks
i’ve got a 2 1/2 month old RottiCorso! He’s doing very well with the sit commands and he’s beginning to understand stay. I have him sit, then i put his food down, and then i have him stay/wait while making eye contact with me. my break command is eat. he’s starting to get it!!!! i can’t wait for him to get a little older so we can start working on more advanced commands

People don't realize how smart pups this age really are !!..They learn so fast with luring.....at this age food is everything !!!....This age is also easy to keep their attention ( engagement)..even with distractions.....Dont wait to start training ..and miss out on these early weeks.

Training is very important other friend I know he has a 7 year old German Sheperd he doesn't walk him nothing. He asked me do I really leash train my dog everyday and do I like doing it?
He sounds like his jealous cause I make time to train my dog despite all the studies and other things I have going on, I balance everything and when I leash my dog we both getting exercise.
I don't know why some people get a dog but never train them at all or even walk them!!
