@@totomomo18 in a few weeks!
@@fkw1239 OMG YASSS , the best stephen chow comedy genius ever made
i love this movie. fun fact: instead of jodie foster the mom was going to be nicole kidman, but she got hurt shooting moulin rouge (a broken leg that took about 1 year to properly heal) the voice of the "bimbo" that his ex husband is banging (said on the movie not my words) is actually the voice of nicole kidman.
Forest Whitaker, Jodie Foster, jared Leto, Kirsten Stewart... What a cast!
Omg thats kirsten Stewart lol i was just gonna look up what the girl ended up being in! lol she did great in this
Dwight Yoakum...don't leave him out.
@@wfly81 yeah that guy did really good. He's mostly a singer by the looks of it too
@@KurticeYZ Watch "Slingblade". You'll respect him as an actor then.
Kristen stewart oh no.
I was so pissed when Forest W. got caught.
this movie is so underrated !!! love when you do films most channels don't do 😄😄😄
Thanks! I'm looking at so many films, it's fun to diversify and have a bit of every genre. Popular films are fun but there are only so many!
I agree, I really like this movie also
yeah true, Tim is like the best movie reaction channel.
4:51 "I dont like these kinds of shots... oh that's nice" 😂😂😂
I loved kristen stewart the minute i saw her in this movie. She and jodie foster are 100% believable as mother and daughter here too. The entire cast was great in this though. I love how the audience/viewer is in the room with them, terrified by every move AND rooting for forest whitaker by the end.
Dwight Yoakam as Raoul was great too. He was ruthless but kinda funny at times. Jared Leto was also funny.
THIS MOVIE WAS WHAT MADE ME OBSESSED WITH FILMS, FILM MAKING, EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM...AND ALSO WHAT SPARKED MY LOVE OF ALL THINGS HORROR AND THRILLERS!!
Gotta get that caps lock fixed.
The way they displayed the opening titles was really unique at the time. Almost looks like the titles were actually floating around in front of those buildings.
It wasn’t unique. Hitchcock already did that. But I agree it looked great.
@@coolhive2941 Which Hitchcock movie? I would love to check that out!
@@confucius12012 I think it was North By Northwest. Been a few years. Hitch had great title sequences all the time. Some by award winning artists.
EDIT: czcams.com/video/1ON67uYwGaw/video.html
@@coolhive2941 Cool. I will look it up.
This film stars three Oscar winning actors (Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, and Jared Leto). Not bad for basically a cast of 5-6 actors.
And country singer Dwight Yoakum.
We can add Kristen Stewart to that list soon.
@@TeamSukiyo no you can not , she's a awful actress, I can act better
This is a very underrated movie in David Fincher's roster, but mostly because he has so many other phenomenal films as well.
This movie and Cellular are the movies that made me start to love Suspense movies as a child!
Before I watch I'm just betting the amount of "...seriously?" ".... REALLY?" "Are you being serious right now!?" in this reaction is going to be off the scale. (One of my favourite tense thrillers!)
The technicalities of this film, working out all the shots, the timing of everything, the security camera footage playing live during shooting, was a nightmare for the director it was so ambitious, but I LOVE this film. I can't get enough of it. I badly want more CZcamsrs to recognize it and share their views.
I never expected to see a reaction to this. Well done!
Thanks
I still own this movie. It was so amazing. Also, I just realized thats a young Kristen Stewart. At the time she wasn't really known. Wow.
I loved this movie! It’s like ‘Phonebooth’! They don’t make movies like this anymore. The most recent similar to this would be The Invisible Man(2020).
No they dont, its also like that movie 15 minutes (of fame) with de niro & kelsey grammer. phone booth wasnt as good as panic room imo but yeah it was thrilling still & good
You should check out the script for this, it's a great read. Also comes with a side note: "This film is short. This film is fast." Which I love. It's also a homage to another tense thriller called Wait Until Dark (1967) in which a blind woman is terrorised by three intruders who are searching for a heroin-stuffed doll, which they believe is inside her apartment. Definitely one to check out.
Dwight Yoakam (Raoul) was the show stealer for me, i loved his character. Great reaction! (:
You’re the only one so far that knew it was him. I’m shocked but maybe we’re just older. Lol
@@jennyjenny1493 haha i'm not that old. My dad loved his music, that is how i knew it was him when i first saw the movie.
@@danisaurus1898 oh ok I gotcha.
The Game is another great David Fischer film
Oh damn didn’t know it was by fincher as well
@@andarporbuenosaires Final twists work best when you don't tell the viewer that there will be one. Has this reactor even seen The Sixth Sense? If not, then he might go looking for the twist from the beginning of the film due to your reply.
I didn`t know that the mom was Jodi Foster that`s so cool I love her in The Silence of the Lambs.
How did you not recognize her if you’ve seen silence?
Such a great movie! One of my favourites 🖤 If you like this one, you can check Flightplan from 2005 also with Jodie Foster in a leading role. She is such a great actress 🖤
When I think of Suspense, I think of this movie! This and Breakdown with Kurt Russel, two of the most suspenseful movies I ever saw!
One of my favorite movies of all time. This, Kiss The Girls, Along Came A Spider... They just don't make them like this anymore.
Oh I'm looking forward to this, it's been so long since I've seen it, but I remember loving this one.
Have you ever watched Flightplan also with Jodie Foster?? it’s a really good thriller
Havent seen it and never heard of it. I’ll write it down
+TimotheeReacts Agreed, I love Flightplan. Jodie Foster is pretty much brilliant. Of course Silence of the Lambs which you've probably already seen. Others I'd recommend - Taxi Driver and Little Man Tate. She won an Oscar for The Accused but that is some really rough watching (gang rape and aftermath/trial).
totally forgot about that movie!!! Another great one
I've watched and it's so good as Panic Room. And they're both similar: where Jodie plays a badass mother that have to fight against bad guys and protect her daughter. In this one, she had to fight the bandits while worrying to check if her daughter's okay since she has asthma - and In Flightplan, when no one else believed her, she proof everyone that her daughter was real, saved her at time and the criminals were also arrested. I really love many thrillers and dramas that Mrs Foster plays.
one of my all-time favorites! did you recognize a young Kristen Stewart? this was back when her acting was actually good lol you keep picking these absolute gems to react to and making my week! love it!
@the_nikster Kristen Stewart is a good actress! She was just given a really boring character to portray in the Twilight series 😒🙄 if you've never seen American Ultra then you should definitely give it a watch and u will see what I mean, Kristen Stewart is great in it and it's an amazing film as well 😉💯😁 XxXxX
No one reacts to this movie and it’s great.
It really is an underrated masterpiece of suspense. Jodie Foster's acting in this is just incredible. Her animalistic scream is one of the most memorable moments of 00s cinema for me. Love the clever camerawork and the lighting throughout too. It's just excellent. Glad you enjoyed it.
Timothee... your reactions here were great! It was easy to see that you were into the film when you were grabbing at the top of your head... this is one of your reactions that is a favorite of mine now. Thank you again for your channel .
I had to watch this movie for a class when I was 12 or 13 and I had no memories of Jared Leto being in this!!! Or that David Fincher directed!
I saw this in the movie theater and people were screaming at the screen at the exciting parts, especially when she went to get her cell phone. Movie was nicely done. Your reaction is exact same as mine. Well done, Tim. Keep em coming.
I love this movie so much.
Panic Room is my mom's favorite movie because she like Jodie Foster. Also, Kristen Stewart was so little. She did great job in it, playing as an asthma kid. All the cast here also amazing, Jared Leto, Forest Whittaker (I started to notice and like him from Vantage Point (2008))
Thank you for react to Panic Room (Always waiting for your reaction every morning) xD
I think I did mentioned it to you, but if you haven't watch it, you should watch Cellular (2004) too.
I love this movie so much, my mom and I used to watch this all the time. The more I watch it now the more I can appreciate the filmmaking here!
Same to me and my mother - we watched Little Tate Man, Panic Room, Flightplan, The Accused, Catchfire and Silence of the Lambs :)
This is one of my favorite movies, so glad somebody finally reacted to it
Thanks, trying to do more underrated films
Thanks for the great movie review reaction! Love this movie!
There are a lot of actual crazy practical crane shots in this movie, and Fincher had enough of a special effects budget to have them "fix" lens warping that occurred in them. Insane.
Country music singer, Dwight Yoakum was incredible in this, and also the movie "Sling Blade".
And his music is actually pretty awesome for country music.

They couldn't have broken in before they moved in? Like between she saw the house and moving day, they have days, maybe weeks? Unless I missed something.
Panic Room underrated film. what a fun watch.
Great visual effects done with LightWave 3D in this.
I totally just watched this last night! And in case you missed it, that little girl was Kristen Stewart who played Bella in Twilight.
If been waiting for you to do a reactions on this movie
To know that Nicole Kidman was originally as Meg makes me wish she had been able to shoot this film.
She does answer the phone when Jodie calls.
Why doesn't she make a sign?...this is her daughter. She is not taking a single solitary chance!!!
Great movie. you have to see The Game it is a movie you can not recreate the first time you see it. Another great Jodi Foster film (Since you saw Contact) is Flightplan 2005
Maybe i'm over-thinking it but taking from the "Panic Room" title; it's genius that you as the viewer in whatever room you're watching the film in, are also panicking. As in their panic room is relayed in your own room. You feel scared just as the characters.
Great reaction, the neighbor who they try to get his attention with the flashlight is the writer of Se7en Andrew Kevin Walker
You should react to Phone Booth. I think you'd love it ^^ You're on the edge of your seat the whole time. Fun fact, it only took 12 days to shoot !
First time watching 🌻 I got eerie vibes already 😂
Looking forward to Ex Machina when it happens.
That's a great movie!
Yes very soon
Hey, I was wondering if you could react to the scream tv series, it’s really funny and pretty good. Great reaction one of my favorite movies and always scares me because I also have asthma.
Cool movie
Yah I loved it
A very underrated film but it's really a great hidden gem. And by David Fincher no less!
Another great but underrated Jodie Foster thriller is Flightplan.
Very good movie!
Will you be reacting to Falcon and The Winter Solider, i’m really excited for it and i loved your Wandavision reactions (that’s actually how i found your channel)
Thanks! I’m going to be looking at the episodes as soon as they release.
@@TimotheeReacts yay! love your channel btw
great simple movie
at 4:48 you mention that shoot taken in one shoot is amazing. Have you watch 1917? The camera works is amazing and it (seems or actually) taken in one shoot! There's literally no transition in that movie and it (seems or actually) taken by one single camera. I think, if you haven't watch it, you should react to it. It's an easy to follow (storyline) war movie.
Please watch some "Star Trek" !
I watched this movie so many times cause I'm a single mom too.
Please watch The Hitcher. Not the remake. The original stars Rutger Hauer as a psychotic killer. That will keep you on the edge of your seat. Enjoy your reactions.
Id reccomend The Others if you haven't seen it, it's an incredibly chilling horror film with Nicole Kidman.
Great movie!I suggest also a Scorcese film "After Hours"(1985)
Awesome reaction. I was as excited as you, and I've seen it many times. Flight Plan is another amazing thriller with Jodie Foster in it. Just saying. 😉
forgot how much i liked this movie
A little bit more interesting than the usual stuff would be a reaction to Crank 1 & 2, those movies are quite different from anything else (recently) also if that happens part 3 would be Hadcore Henry from 2015 (not literally)
If you want a mind fuck of a movie, you should check out The Departed.
That elevator scene is unmatched film-making.
+TimotheeReacts Tim and his scruff and spiffy hair are looking good in this video 👍...plus I love me a film nerd!
😱 David Fincher? Didnt know.
I would recommend watching ‘tucker and dale vs evil
Tim Time!
I know it's kind of twisted, but i think the scene where Dwight Yoakam gets his hand caught in the door is hilarious. His character deserved it though.
If you like suspense movies I recommend Nerve 😁 also Phonebooth and Cube are great choices as well 💯❤️❤️❤️ XxXxX
reacts to the film poseidon (2006)
And the original aswell
Oh man I love that one. I've watched it a million times.
Thanks, Timothee! I love this one!!! 💥 If you're interested in seeing one of Jodie Foster's early gems, I highly recommend the drama/mystery/horror THE LITTLE GIRL WHO LIVES DOWN THE LANE (1976). 💎
Watch Gone Girl next another David Fincher masterpiece.
This is the movie that showed me Jodie Foster is bad a** & Forest Whitaker
Speaking of paper that's worth millions, there's nothing that is worth $62k right now. It is nothing, because it's just a number in computer's memory.
The Film where Kirsten Stewart could still act.
Watch Camp X Ray. She's so good in it.
Sleeper movie for you. "Upgrade"
Loved it! It’s up on the channel
@@TimotheeReacts How about "47 Ronin"
Nice you finally got The Game on the list. As I've said many times its a thriller master piece by Fincher. Just watch out for spoiler. Have seen some in the comments.
Watch Sling Blade with Dwigt Yaokam (the guy who plays Raoul) and he is a mean asshole that you love to hate
i like canadian's ;)
Please watch train to Busan
YESS I'll be watching this later this year for sure
@@TimotheeReacts there is also a animated prequal and train to Busan peninsula
+TimotheeReacts PLEASE WATCH “THE GAME” WOW THAT FILM STILL STANDS THE TEST OF TIME! AND IS ONE OF THE BEST THRILLER AND MYSTERY MOVIES IVE SEEN!!
Please watch Sexy Beast starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Ian Mcshane, and Ray Winston. Then Snatch, then The Gentleman. Nobody will ever watch any of these :(
Could you react to star wars the clone wars series?
Will you be reacting to Zack Snyders justice league?
I’ve been thinking about it. I’ve just watched every dc movie up to justice league but havent edited any of them. They’ll probably go up in april other dc movies. Would maybe like to ride the hype and immediately see justice league and put it on the channel. Do u think people would mind if i don’t upload in order? I can publish justice league now and the other dc movies later
@@TimotheeReacts zack snyders universe starts from Man of steel >Batman v superman > Zacksnyders justice league and then birds of prey if i remember correctly so rlly it depends on when u wanna upload it either way im sure well enjoy it
The Game is actually really good, but it's kind of a mind fuck like what the hell is real.
*silently hoping ex machina wins the polls soon*
*cough* still watched it *cough*
@@TimotheeReacts aaaaahhhh~~~~~~
Yo watch transformers
🌠🌠🌠🌠🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝
This has the ultimate lesbians, Kristen Stewart feet, and Jodie Foster feet
love this movie just for that. sorry, feet are a sexual characteristic like boobs, people.
otherwise, the bad guys are pretty cool if generic and they didn't seem threatening on a story level.
but i always feel diabetes is a cheap and easy way to add tension
