    Thanks for demonstrating this with the hapstone. I have the same problem hitting the screws after flipping knife over. Putting the spacer behind seems to really help with the knife wanting to slide up in the clamp, so thanks for that tip too.

    Bailing wire used to be "the southern way", better than tape, it can get wet

    And you couldn't sharpen the recurve with the outside edge of the stone?

    I guess that thing is really made for taller blades on modern folders. too bad

      Case peanut is just really small
