Never had an issue with carhartt jackets and vests, or any other of their products! Except cost! Should try their jump suit!
I have, well their insulated boiler suits, great job
their boots are terrible and in general they arent as well made as they used to be. More of a fashion brand now. Boot wise they arent even remotely close to even Timberland pro nevermind the very top brands like Haix and Solid Gear. Snickers (solid gear) in general sell the best made workgear. Jacket wise i do like Carhartt im looking at this exact jacket but i have jackets from Harkila (pro hunter) and i dont expect this jacket to be anywhere near as good. It wont be.

@@WoolysWorld I have had several of carhartt products , all except their boots are a good quality for the money! It doesn’t matter if it is their “ outdoors man” heavy duty work gear, or their uniform stuff it is all good! I just couldn’t deal with their boots!

I bought one of these last year based on your recommendation. In less than a year the zipper is broken. Carhartt says too bad for you.

Warning: Carhartt no longer refers to this as the “Bartlett” jacket on their website - it’s now called the “Utility” jacket, officially listed as “Relaxed fit, washed duck, sherpa-lined utility jacket” and the style number is #103826.
Style number is the best way to search for a specific item to make sure you’re ordering the right one. This one in particular stands out pretty easily, but many Carhartt coats/jackets look similar in pictures online, and even have similar names to one another, but are very very different.

I just bought one and I love it. However I got black and it's a fur magnet, really bad. (We have cats and dogs Ask my wife, it's a non-negotiable lifestyle). I'm going to order some of that Fjall wax and pray it not only makes it waterproof but fur resistant as well...
I've lots of fur balls too I haven't noticed hairs on mine, must be a colour thing

Light rain only , I've been in heavy downpours before and not got very wet but the fabric just soaks it up

nothing remotely close to Harkila but they are hunting/work jackets and cost a fortune. I do prefer Carhartt jackets to newer Fjallraven as they are the same price as Harkila (£500+) but arent as well made as they used to be. I do like this jacket im about to order one but they aint the best, not even close

It's not advertised as waterproof and it will leak if you give it a good soaking , but you will get alright in light showers for a bit

It's warm, this was the middle of winter
That jacket takes a big L! No pIt zips on a jacket is going to make you freeze! When working hard in the winter, when you sweat thats what makes you get cold! No pit zips, no way for the sweat to evaporate and you get soaked, so you freeze! Well thought out, lmao little effort was put into that jacket!
